Her date mentioned not being able to disagree with her words. She didn't really expect her to since her words were in agreement with her previous ones regarding the validity of her chosen subject. She thought it was perfectly valid. Then again, her opinion wasn't the one that mattered the most. She needed students to see that it was worthwhile so that she would be able to teach them. ”Your students back at Ilvermorny didn't feel the same way I hope,” she replied. Since the course still existed at Ilvermorny, she imagined that there were plenty of students back in the U.S. who liked the class and thought it was useful. They were right to bring it to Hogwarts. From the corner of her eye, Addie noticed the woman's gaze land on her and she took a deep breath. Her brow furrowed just a bit and Addie just knew she figured something was off. Was she coming off too weird? It wasn't really something she could control; she'd already taken the potion. She definitely hadn't expected to be out this long either. It was supposed to be quick. Even if she had been left alone by the woman and had stuck around the garden a bit longer, she would have been gone by now, back to the safety of her room. But she was out, pretty much on a date, one that she didn't sign up for but a date all the same. And it wasn't bad. The woman was obviously older but she was nice. It wasn't bad at all. She turned to the woman fully just as she produced a piece of paper and began looking over it for directions regarding their picnic. "Maybe an employee from the garden will know...?" her words were said slowly as she glanced around the area for someone who looked as if they worked there. Tag; @cassiopeia

At the mention of her students at Ilvermorny, Cassie's face lit up just slightly, "No - well, I am sure some would feel that way but for the most part they all seemed to like it well enough. At least it seems that way, I'm kind of glad I chose to transfer - not a lot of the other professors did.. I mean, a few did of course but not a lot of us. I hope having a few familiar faces and courses will help in some way." she was deeply concerned for her students. Many of them were coming over here without their families being close - some of course were coming over with their children - but many others couldn't lift their lives up to do so. It was those ones she was eager to keep and eye out for.
After a moment, She shook her thoughts from her students, her attention shifting back to her date. She did hope this wasn't a bother for her. Cassie had found herself actually enjoying it so far, sure she was obviously older but - the date even if she hadn't signed herself up - wasn't so bad. She shook her worries off for now, deciding not to bring up the strangeness she had noticed and instead looked around to see if she could see someone that worked there, "That sounds like a good place to start." she happily spoke before nodding her head, seeing a young man who did appear to be someone that worked there. "Lets ask him, maybe he knows. Its worth asking right?" the blonde gave a quick smile.

Addie’s face twisted into somewhat of an amused smirk, something that she more so felt was appropriate rather than something she felt at the older woman’s words. There were always students who took classes they didn’t like or didn’t really care about so she figured there were students who didn’t feel like her class was important. Maybe they figured it would have been simple considering the content. Where magic was concerned though, as she knew, it wasn’t always as easy as it looked. Not that she herself had ever had a truly tough time learning things she was actually interested in but the things that she’d had to learn that she hated? Difficult didn’t begin to describe it. The woman mentioned that not many professors decided to transfer over from Ilvermorny and Addie nodded in understanding. It made sense in a way, though she had to wonder what they were doing to make up for the extra free time they had. Their attention shifted back to the unknown picnic they were supposed to be having when her date pointed to a passing employee. Addie didn’t hesitate, approaching the person quickly. ”Excuse me, we’re from the dating service. Blishwick. We were told that there was supposed to be a picnic set up for us. Where can we find it?” she asked in a flatter tone than she intended. The guy gave her a weird look before pointing off towards the further end of the garden. With a nod of thanks, she jogged back over to her date. ”He pointed off in that direction so maybe it’s over there.” It wouldn’t take too much of a walk to get there. She tilted her head in the direction in a bid for them to start walking.

It was perhaps slightly odd that Cassie could so easily talk, usually she wasn't as open let alone about things closer to her heart - but either way it was certainly nice to be able to talk to someone and not worry about what they might say or think about what she was saying. She knew being a Professor wasn't easy, this wasn't the first time she had taught after all, but she did have her concerns being at Hogwarts was going to be a change from what she knew at Ilvermorny in many ways. Adding too it that many of her co-workers had decided to move on and do other things rather than transfer to Hogwarts along with their students, in this aspect Cassie was certainly concerned about how many of her students would be adjusting if she was also having some worries. Still that was for a later time to think more on, for now she was eager to try and focus on this date thing and she watched as her date didn't hesitate before approaching and asking the guy about what they were supposed to do.
She held back a small chuckle, watching the reaction before shrugging at her date, "Shall we continue to look then?" she questioned before nodding her head towards where the guy pointed them off too, already starting to walk in the direction, it shouldn't be much longer and she was curious about what would be supplied for the picnic. "Any ideas what they would have set up for us to eat? I'm curious about that actually."

With a nod, her date began to walk off in the direction she'd pointed out and she followed at an easygoing pace. As far as she could see, there weren't any signs that indicated a separate area set up for a picnic nor was there anything indicating that an area was dedicated to Blishwick Matchmaking. She honestly hadn't expected much of the company when she'd heard about it. She hadn't even initially meant to be on the date so she didn't really want to complain about something she hadn't asked for willingly. Even still in the direction they walked in they were surrounded by flowers and vegetation that were stunning in their presentation. It was supposed to be calming and intriguing, both things she couldn't feel when she was feeling numb from the potions she'd taken. She still couldn't help looking around at everything and making a flimsy promise to herself that she'd come back when she hadn't loaded up on potion to see if she'd enjoy it organically. Her date brought her out of her thoughts thing and she turned to listen to the words she spoke. The older woman asked her if she had any ideas on what they may have set up for them. "I don't really know. I can't say I expect them to go all out. I think it would be bad business for them to have to spend so much money on food. How many people would then sign up to get free food?" she shrugged as she pondered out loud. She realized that she may have been turning the conversation a bit sour so she shrugged again. "I hope it's something good though. I am a little hungry. What are you thinking?"
