“I guess noble is one way to put it but I like to see it as honor among pranksters.” Shawn explained for a moment looking around them as they climbed. Callisto wasn’t looking around much which was a shame but he could understand why. Knowing how high up she was and seeing how high she was were two different things. “We weren’t out to hurt each other, just looking to have some fun. Even if someone loved to take things too far sometimes. Which was me on one or two occasions.” No, the truth was probably far more than just one or two times. Shawn always looked to have fun rather than doing anything serious in school. To the point he avoided his class work and was the main one with some ridiculous idea. “It’s not too bad to be reckless at times. Right now is a pretty good one and between these harnesses and a little magic if need be. We’ll be just fine.”
Callisto’s face showed that she didn’t like his maybe comment about staying on the ground for her birthday. He was just kidding but he still couldn’t help even when they were this close to tease her a bit. She claimed that whatever he did for her was perfect and he smiled for a moment. “Well you can be the judge of that when it happens I suppose.” Shawn claimed, he partly wanted to try and think of something right now till he did think of the perfect thing for her birthday. Still he had more important things to be paying attention to. Like the beautiful woman in front of him.
He did begin to notice that the people they had made their way up here with were now going back down. Shawn assumed it was time for everyone to get going. “Well since we probably won’t be up here again for awhile..” Shawn said with a smirk for a small moment before leaning in and kissing Callisto one more time quickly. “We’ll just call that my birthday gift for next year too.” He explained hoping he wouldn’t actually have to wait that long and was just joking. Now pulling away to their normal distance he looking toward the exit. “We better get going before someone starts pushing us down for taking too long.”

He spoke about the honor among pranksters and she shook her head. "I didn't know they had that," she teased...but also that was kind of true. She had always looked down on pranks, really. Something he would already know given their past experience in school together. He went on about how he and his friends were just having fun, not trying to hurt each other or anything. He admitted that he had indeed taken things too far one or two times and she smiled a little, impressed that he would even say that. "Yes, I suppose this level of recklessness is fine. I'm not sure why fear even needs to be involved with magic and all," she answered softly, but that didn't stop the blood bumping in her ears at wobbly moments. That was instinct. People started to go back down and Callisto was relieved, but also a little sad that the event was over. He said they wouldn't be up there for a while, and she was about to say 'more like never' but then he was kissing her one more time, saying that he would call that his gift for next year too. Her stomach flipped over nine times at that. He was thinking that far ahead? Well, she was too, really. She always thought far ahead. She was a planner. She didn't say anything as he suggested they stated going before someone pushed them. She simply nodded and took the rail, and his hand again so they could make their descent. Overall, it wasn't a bad date for her first one she'd planned for someone she liked. shawn lesley ashcroft(the end!)
