Smoking was disgusting. Andy hated the smell of it, the sounds people made while doing it, the color of the smoke; all of it. She even found it made her have a hard time focusing on the task at hand, because the smoke was just so unbelievably gross that it clouded her mind. So, Marcia took the rooftop and she stayed down on street level, waiting in a dark corner, eyes on Marcia up above who was on the lookout. As soon as Marcia apparated, Andy casually strolled to the other opening at the end of the little alleyway, yawning a bit as she lifted her violin close to her face, examining the shine at the base of it. The two muggers started running her direction and she looked up, not even flinching. She wasn't going to kill these muggers, even though that was what a 'hit witch' did. But trainees weren't set on killing missions without supervision, and muggers weren't death sentenced anyway. No, this would be an arrest. But... a little mangling wasn't the worst thing, especially if they tried to get away. Which they were clearly doing. "How about some music?" she said, releasing the violin. It floated in front of her, the bow leaving her other hand to start playing the strings. La vie en rose played. A sweet chose, albeit a bit cliche. Andy looked past the now paled and paused muggers, to Marcia and the victim, "any song requests?"@rivtrois

Lynyrd Skynyrd wasn't exactly Andy's niche, but she knew the good songs. Freebird was a good choice for this moment. Cause I'm as free as a bird now, and this bird you cannot change. Marcias smile was infectious, and Andy felt herself feeling sad for a moment that she hadn't gotten to know the girl better while they were at school. She recalled Marcia had vanished after graduating, but Andy just assumed she was busy living the adult life. They had time to get to know each other now, though. A lot of time. She waited for Marcia to make the first move, and the girl did it quickly. The body-binding spell smashing into one of the muggles. Andy let her violin continue to play Freebird as she fired a spell, "Avis Oppugno." A small flock of birds sprung forth, circling the head of the second man. She walked forward as he lifted his own wand, "expelliarmus-" she started, but his wand was already firing a spell at her. She dodged to the side, then whistled low. Her violin stopped playing, the birds stopped flying, and the bow of the violin flew toward the man, whacking him across the face. @rivtrois

The violin smacked the man but he kept on his feet. Andy growled at him, "bastard won't stay down, eh?" she cracked her neck, cranking it to one side. She'd try not to kill this guy, especially since Marcia just sent up the blue flare. No, no, she had a job to do. "Expelliarmus! Incarcerous!" she cast one after the other and it succeeded. The man wasn't expecting her violin to smack him, so that brought the element of surprise. "If only there was a little more blood," she muttered, disappointed as she crossed over to stand beside her partner. "Nice work. America taught you some stuff, eh?"@rivtrois (i'm sorry it's so short hahaha)

Marcia spoke about how things were in America and Andy shuddered, mockingly. "Sounds like those Americans love their red tape," she said. That was one reason she chose to be a hit witch over an auror. It was a more delicate job, sure, but they had a very different situation at the office. Aurors were more investigative, a lot more paperwork, and the hit wizards and witches were sent in to execute intense needs, which she preferred. Though, it was also nice to think that the hit team didn't have as much work and was able to help with smaller assignments too, but Andy's hands were always itching for more. Marcia took a moment before admitting that Cain had taught her the last move she used. Andy felt her shoulders tense a little at the mention of Marcias... ex-boyfriend? Andy definitely didn't want to get into ex boyfriends right now. Thankfully, Marcia spoke further about how she could teach Andy some things he had showed her - uncommon things. But then, it was clear Marcia was agitated talking about him. She mentioned his usefulness, and rummaged in her pockets quickly. Andy froze for a moment, unsure how to proceed. She could talk about Phil to try and be relate-able, sure, but she didn't want to talk about him. Not right now. She could try to focus on the more positive part... the part about the useful things he taught her. "Any new move is valuable in my book. I'd love to learn from you," she said, but she didn't sound as confident. Her mind was caught on the elephants in the room. The pretty blond one and the broody one... @rivtrois

Marcia seemed a little wrapped up in her head for a moment, but Andy knew better than to interrupt someone while they were thinking. She was often going through things in her mind, and most of those things were unpleasant things and would end up in a snap if someone tried to butt in. She liked letting people have their privacy, so she just waited a moment.
Marcia did speak, suggesting that they plan a time to meet and work together. Andy laguehd as she mentioned 'foreign influences'. "I think that the world is getting more and more integrated every day. No use fighting it when there's so much to be gained," Andy commented. Marcia said she had another question to ask, though, and Andy tensed for a moment until the question came out. Andy grinned, looking down at her now banged up violin and shrugging. "Basically I learned anything that would make my parents angry. So, of course Rock and Roll and other non classical music was a must. I can play pretty much anything with sheet music, and a large number of things without." she turned back to Marcia, "the weaponry aspect of it came recently." She remembered the first time she had attacked with her violin. It was four muggles, utterly mangled but somehow still alive afterwards...
