Lily said she needed this playing tag as a werewolf idea now, but added that she didn't think she could convince anyone to do it because of how dangerous that was. Andy Shrugged, "I'll do it," she offered casually. She was a Gryffindor after all, and if there was any Gryffindor trait she had picked up it was reckless brave behavior. Plus, Andy thought it was kind of sad how people were always on their own when they wolfed out. Well, not everyone. A lot of werewolves had packs and friends of their own kind who made it easier to spend time together and not be so alone. Which was exactly what she was trying to suggest to Lily. Lily asked for her to specify, mentioning that she didn't think she was one for the political side of werewolf affairs. Andy laughed, shaking her head. "No, no, I meant go be one of the Wolves. Leave The Wizarding half behind and find the wolf communities who live together. They definitely exist, and it would be a good place to get in touch with that side of yourself. Does that make sense?" She definitely had not thought of Lily in any sort of political situation at all, that wasn't what she had meant. She had meant to become a wolf first and foremost, and a witch second. It was at least worth experimenting. lily luna potter

@lestrange “Really?” her eyes lit up at the prospect of Andy being her fetch-mate. That would be awesome if she could actually do it. Lily had a feeling that her wolf would spend the majority of the night trying to knock Andy and the broom out of the air, because that was just how the thing liked to go about its monthly adventure. Playing fetch would be fun nonetheless, and if any other werewolves had a problem with that, they could wrestle with her. She had a feeling that she was a lot faster than most of them, in both human and wolf form. Besides, what she did as a wolf was none of their business. She wasn’t dangerous to any muggles or other magical folk (the only real danger being to herself), and there were always measures in place to prevent her from going too far. “That would be totally awesome if you could do that Andy. I mean it.”
Today couldn’t be all play and no work though, because the other half of their conversation was starting to touch on some serious subject matter. Leave her magic behind and join the pack? But she didn’t want to do that. There was ample time and room to get in touch with her wolf while at home or at school. “I guess…” Lily got quiet as she continued to think about Andy’s words. “But I couldn’t bring my mum with me, could I? I’m sure they don’t like non-werewolves in their communities, and I don’t think I could leave her alone like that.” Her head began to nod as she spoke, confirming her feelings on the topic. “Yeah, I’m fine with what I’ve got. Leaving the witch part behind would be like abandoning half of myself anyways.”

Andy nodded as Lily questioned whether she was serious about playing fetch with her. Then Lily added that it would be 'totally awesome' if she could do it, the girls tone more sincere than Andy had expected it to be about something as silly as playing fetch. Though, it probably wasn't silly to Lily. Being a werewolf was lonely Andy had heard, and guessed, and having some company... well, that was probably invaluable. "Just name the date," Andy confirmed. Lily contemplated Andy's suggestion, and then went on to talk about her mother and how she wouldn't be able to bring her along. Andy nodded, "yeah, I don't think they'd allow that," she agreed. It was nice to think of how Lily couldn't leave her mother. Andy would like to think she'd feel the same if she was close to her mother, and with everything going on with Lily's dad vanishing... Ginny Weasley was blessed to have a loyal daughter like Lily. "Of course," Andy agreed, as Lily said she was fine and didn't want to abandon half of herself. Andy understood that, hence why she embraced the idea of being a hit-witch. "Whatever you do with your future, I think you'll be happy. Just have to experiment a little," she suggested again, looking back at the shelves of this goofy store. lily luna potter (call this the end?)

@lestrange The decision to let Andy hover above her wolf was stupid, but Lily knew she needed it. Blowing off steam on the full moon was the best feeling in the world, and the last few months of school and start of summer had her cooped up and under the spell of the Wolfsbane potion. She hated the restriction of it and how it made her woozy and docile. If she had known about that sort of thing, she wouldn’t have become a wolf in the first place. Being allowed to roam free and stretch was what most of them wanted to do anyways. What was wrong with that? “Next full moon,” she whispered, almost forgetting that Uncle George was lurking around somewhere in the shop doing his business thing and barely managing to bring her voice down in time. “Assuming I can avoid being locked up for it. Mum likes me in a safe place. Not sure if that’s supposed to be for my sake, or everyone else.” Lily shrugged, her arms falling back down to her sides with a thump. She knew it was for everyone else. Getting her to sit still as a human was difficult enough. A scared wolf in the city would not be pretty (but it would be fun for her).
Experiment with her future. Choosing a future, or a path to a future, sounded nice. It was a little more grounded than she liked, but could still put forth the effort to attempt it. It certainly wouldn’t kill her to take a smidge more responsibility in her life. Being more prepared and formulaic was what adults did, and she was basically an adult in less than a year. Then again…“Or I can wait until I graduate and then see. That's more my thing anyways,” Lily grinned. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to find a toy that I can play fetch with."
