[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Alice"] Passing by the end of cold winter until the spring day comes again
Even though it has been a week since she had been back at hogwarts she still had not got the time to get out of the castle and onto the grounds. Her whole week had gone in a breeze, as she caught up with her friends and made some new acquaintances in the transfer students. All in all it was a very busy week for her and now that she actually had the time, Cor decided to get herself out of her dorm room and onto the grounds. It was only 7 in the morning and seeing as it was a Saturday she decided that not many would be present outside giving her a chance to be at peace and silence.
In about half an hour and Corrine was dressed up in a casual grey t-shirt and black jeans paired with her favorite sneakers. While she was not a fan of exercising or working out, she does occasionally enjoy a nice walk out on the grounds and that was exactly what she had in mind when she stepped out into the fresh September morning breeze. She had a content smile as her blue eyes began to look around the grounds gazing at those few students who were up at that hour in the morning and seemed to be in their own world. She sighed softly at the happy feeling within her as she stepped out into the grass and began to walk towards the Black Lake.

Sav MacMillian woke up excruciatingly early and every morning as he rolled out of bed he questioned why he couldn’t just continue to sleep for a few more hours like his roommates got to do. The reason was simple. Sav had things to do. He had to make time to do the things that he wanted to do if he wanted to be able to fit proper exercise and school into the same day, everyday. Though, he’d happily ignore school and classes in favor of Quidditch and running if he could, but he knew that they wouldn’t let him keep his position as Gryffindor captain if he began to drop his marks. Not to mention that his mum, who worked in the castle, would give him an earful no doubt, and he wasn’t interested in that kind of visit with her.
As soon as Sav got a whiff of the cool, morning air when he stepped out from the castle onto the grounds below, it all seemed worth it. This was the time when he was the most alert. Sav typically started his morning with a lap or two around the grounds, which he normally ended towards the lake. It was prettiest at the lake and started his day off right. The reflection of the rising sun over the soft movement of the large body of water offered a perfect transition from the high of running, to the high of eating breakfast with his friends in the great hall. Sav began to slow down as he approached the lake. He saw a girl there, which was a bit of an odd sight given how early it was, but he supposed he couldn’t be the only early riser in the castle. “Morning.” he bid her, slightly out of breath from his run, but nothing more than normal for him. He was good at controlling his breathing as he pushed himself.

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Alice"] Passing by the end of cold winter until the spring day comes again
As Corrine stood by the lake, she appreciated the scenery in front of her. It was just like a painting and she wondered idly if these were the times when artists take the inspiration from and produce great master pieces. The pleasant morning sun, the cool breeze and the ripples on the water surface made Corrine feel happy for choosing that morning to come down. As she stood there entranced by the nature she had not heard someone approach her until she heard the voice. Momentarily surprised by the voice, Corrine shook herself mentally and then turned to see who it was. Whoever had she expected it ot be, the person in front of her was no where in that list. It was Savtaj Macmillan, a guy she had a secret crush on from a long time. While a typical teenage girls would go all shy and bumbling idiot in front of her crush, Corrine was not such. She was way too mature for such kind of behaviour and she actually thanked to the lords above for giving her such an attitude. Because the last thing she needed was make herself a fool in front of someone.
Corrine was very much lost in her thoughts that she did not even respond back to him, as she should have. Mentally cursing herself for it, she quickly spoke up "hello there, good morning. Sorry I was a bit caught up on my thoughts" and she hoped that her delay in greeting back did not offend him. She then looked him over slightly and given the way he was a little out of breath she guessed that he had been working out which caused her to smile a little. She was then hit with the sudden doubt of whether or not he would know who she was. While most of the girls knew who he was, no thanks to his looks and his charms, she on the other hand was not that famous. Okay may be she was downplaying it a little, and for all she knew he might already know who she was. Shaking her head a little, she decided to play it cool and not wonder about identities. And so she asked the first thing that was on her mind ever since she saw him "out for quidditch practise or were you working out? " As she looked at him from this close she had to admit that he definitely was a killer when it came to his looks. And she knew for sure that her cheeks had on more color than a few minutes ago.
SEP 6th Saturday NOTES: hope this is okay !!!

Sav shrugged when she apologized for being caught up in her thoughts. “No need to apologize. I can’t imagine you were expecting to see many others out and about this early in the morning at the beginning of term.” he insisted. There was literally no need for her to say anything in apology for not seeing him before he spoke. It wasn’t often that Sav ran into anyone on his runs, especially the early morning ones. And since it was still so early in the term, most people were still adjusting to their new times tables and were spending their first weekend in the castle catching up on sleep and resting after the first week back to term. “Oh I’m just working out.” Sav shrugged again. “I run almost every morning. I’ve got to stay on top of myself.” he told her. Sav didn’t feel like he could get anything else done in the day if he didn’t start his day with a run. “Did you just come out here to think?” he asked.

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Alice"] Passing by the end of cold winter until the spring day comes again Corrine smiled a little at him but internally the girl was very much delighted, that might be a bit exaggerated, but she was indeed happy to have a conversation with him on a fine morning. “I wasn’t expecting actually, as you said it is rather early” said Corrine as she played with her fingers. As he confirmed to her that he was working out she gave a nod and actually was impressed when he mentioned that he does that every morning. “Oh running is a great way to stay fit” she said and then admitted out loud, “though I find myself exhausted after some time” . She had always preferred walking and a bit of exercising but never running given that it used to tire her in a matter of minutes. As he asked about her she shook her head and said “no actually, I came down to walk and stretch my body a little. I just got caught up with the beautiful scenery” . She never was consistent in her timings when it came to walking and thus she had never come across Sav till that date. Or maybe she might’ve been caught up in her own world to notice his presence on the grounds. It was not as though she was a stalker.

“Yeah running isn’t for everyone.” Savtaj admitted while crossing his arm over his body and pulling it with his other arm into a deeper stretch. Running didn’t really require the use of one's arms, but if they were stiff, they still made it a difficult time. Over the years, Sav had really learned the importance of stretching not only before his workout, but during and after as well. Just about any injury could have been prevented with adequate stretching. “It’s nice to get out in the morning.” Sav nodded when she said that she had come down to stretch a bit. She was an attractive girl and he had noticed. He especially noticed the way that she fidgeted as she spoke to him, was she nervous? He had been known to have that affect sometimes. “Yeah the sunrise is real nice in the fall and spring isn’t it?” he asked with a smirk. It was nice in the winter too, but since the sun rose so late during that time of year, he wasn’t normally out during sunrise. He ran in the dark so he could still get a run in before classes. “Are you out this early a lot?” he asked. He ran every morning and was surprised that in all 7 years the two of them had been at Hogwarts he hadn’t seen her on his run. Though, Normally, he was a lot more focused. And he didn’t always run near the lake either.

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Alice"] Passing by the end of cold winter until the spring day comes again Corrine chose to nod at his words rather than reply. There wasn't much to add to it without sounding like a weak witch who does not have the stamina to run. She definitely did not need him to form such an impression of her. But then again she did not know if he would think of every girl he comes across in his day-to day life. He was the kind of guy evry girl talks about and who was surrounded by them most of the time. So she wasn't sure if he would even remember her after this accidental meet up. "Watching the scenery helps me feel refreshing, if you can say so" said Corrine with a slight smile. She looked at him and asked him a casual attempt to continue their conversation, "so is gryffindor done with the try-outs for this season? I have heard that a few transfers wanted to get in to the team". Corrine's own buddy was interested to try out for his house team though he was not in gryff, but she had heard from one of her siblings that the transfer students were all pretty eager to play quidditch alongside the Hogwarts students. Corrine looked up at him with a gentle smile when he remarked that the sunrise was nice in fall and spring. She was happy that he actually noticed things like those unlike the other guys who definitely do not notice those things, her father and brother being the practical examples in her life. "Yes it is, which do you like the most? the bright orange-ish red sky or the dull yellow-ish green one? " asked Corrine in an attempt to know about him. She may try and play it cool, but internally she has a crush on the guy standing in front of her and suffice to say she would not miss the opportunity to get to know him and perhaps make him not forget her. When asked about her, she shrugged a little and said "it depends usually, I just come out here either for the scenery or for some fresh air but not on a daily basis.".
September Sorry for the late reply !!!

After explaining that being out in the morning helped to refresh her, which Sav nodded along to, feeling the same way himself, she went on to ask about Gryffindor Quidditch tryouts. Sav was always cautious about talking about Quidditch with members of other houses, however, since she wasn’t on her house team, it wasn’t quite as big of a deal. “We’ve had tryouts, but nothing’s set yet. Nearly.” he told her. Sav was impressed by the amount of talent that had come out this year, but he was being slow about making the final cuts. This year was important to him, it was the year that the professional scouts would really be paying attention to. “I except to see you at the matches.” he said with a smirk, glancing down to the girl. He couldn’t help it. He thrived under the circumstances of the crowds being filled with people chanting his name. Not that it ever really happened with more than a couple of people, but he was recruiting more than players this year.
“Oh the red sky, definitely.” he admitted. It was true. “More to look at.” was his explanation. He loved with the sky erupted with color, a cloudy sunrise was so much more exciting and beautiful than a clear sunrise. “Which do you?” he asked politely in return.
