Camilla had always loved practice; it was a time when she was her most distracted from all that around her. Even though it wasn’t an actual game against other places, she enjoyed the thrill of flying and trying her hand at everything. It was also that time of year where the new members of the team joined the party, introducing themselves and stating their position so that the rest of the players could know who they were really. From what she could tell, there was a small handful of new people, but she had already forgotten their names. Sadly, she wasn’t paying attention, instead just playing with her gloves that were on her hands, fidgeting like she usually did before she got to fly. That entire morning, and a bit into the afternoon, they practiced and practiced. Angela Weasley, the captain and fellow chaser of their team, was one of those that didn’t care how long they practice. As long as people were participating and showing their worth, she was content. Camilla enjoyed the older woman, and she made an excellent captain for as long as Camilla had been a part of the team. Of course, there were small breaks for small snacks and water breaks, but nothing as serious as lunch. So, by the time they were all finished and cleaning up their things, changing out of sweaty clothes and the likes, Camilla found herself heading towards one of the newbies that had joined. Of course, she seemed to be the only newbie still around at that point, and Camilla quickly smiled. “Hey—Reagan…right?” she questioned, praying that she remembered at least one name for the correct person. “I was heading to get some lunch at this nice little café near here, care to join?” she questioned, wondering if the girl would agree to lunch with a semi-stranger or say she had other plans. Camilla was trying to be nice, plus, she’d like to get to know another member of her team.

Reagan loved flying, it was one of her favorite experiences about being in the magical world. Quidditch was something she had taken to quickly when she was still young, and something that she still kept as a favorite thing as she grew older. After she graduated she hadn't really questioned what she wanted to do, and she was simply considering herself incredibly lucky that she landed a position on the Holy Head Harpies team. Today though was one of the first chances she was getting to meet up with the rest of her team members, something that had her a tiny bit nervous but very much excited.
Practice had been amazing and Reagan was pleased to learn that she was pretty free to do what she wanted as long as she was practicing and doing her thing. As a Seeker there wasn't a huge lot that was available when it came to practicing - mostly it was her working on her speed and working on trying to catch something incredibly tiny..
She had met several of her team mates throught the days practice but unlike most of them, Reagan took her time when it was time to wind things down and while most of them had left, Reagan was still chilling out and flying around. She hated when it came time to get off her broom and head off - the feeling of flying was always one of her favorite parts of being up in the air. But landing - wasn't such a favorite. So she took her time before finally deciding to land and get herself ready to pack up and head off. As she was though she heard her name and looked up with a small smile, she recognized the other girl but her name, "I.. yeah thats me, I.. sorry I don't seem to remember your name.." she spoke a little sheepishly, feeling guilty for not remembering the others name. There had been so many names she had learnt alone today. "But - yeah, I'd love to - if its okay with you. I could really go for something to eat." Reagan chuckled as she picked up her broom, "Plus I think I need to learn a bit more about my team mates."

The girl seemed rather sheepish when Camilla approached her, though she didn’t remember her name. Luckily, Camilla had remembered the name of the person before her, and just simply smiled. With a shrug of her shoulders she spoke, “That’s okay, and it’s Camilla.” The words came out friendly and calm, she didn’t mind that the girl didn’t remember her name, they had gone through them rather rapidly before they took to their brooms and practiced. But what she was glad about, was the fact that the girl agreed to go to lunch with her, her grin grew wider. “Great, it’s my treat of course,” she said with a smile, she had enough money to pay for the both of them. And since the café wasn’t that expensive and she had offered for the girl to tag along, it seemed only right that she paid. “If you’re ready now, we can head out? Or if you still need to collect some stuff, I can wait around until you are ready to go,” she said with the same smile on her face as she brushed a strand of strawberry red behind her ear.

She did feel a little bad about not remembering the other girls name, but then - she supposed names were always a bit of a struggle, at least when meeting several new people all at once. Plus, she hadn't fully been paying attention when the introductions - as quick as they had been - were made. She had been more focused on getting on her broom and getting up in the air at the time. Reagan offered a quick smile relieved that the girl didn't seem too upset by Reagan not remembering her name, "Oh right - Camilla!" she was so glad thay Camilla was still friendly and willing to let it slide.
"Are you sure? I can cover my own if you're not sure." she wasn't sure how to feel about it being a treat, but - Camilla was being nice, and that was a huge plus, "Oh sure, I'm ready whenever - I just need to grab my bag and my broom, and they are just over there. "She nodded over to her things, they weren't far from where they were now, "I'm excited to get the chance to hang out though, I feel I need to get to know you better."

Camilla remembered when she first joined the team, it had been a little bit after her accident and after the doctors had believed the treatment plan had worked. Once they gave her the okay, and they realized her triggers and perfected the potion, and now she was part of the team. She remembered when the problems first started happening, her leg was fine, but her mind didn’t see it that way. The mind was a tricky thing, that was what the doctors and therapists told her at first, and it made her scared that her dream was ruined. Not only had her parents died, which was public knowledge now and days, but her dream of being a professional chaser would be as well. Luckily, her doctors and healers worked around the clock, brought in some trial potion to see if they could trick her mind, and here she was. And thankfully for her, that was still on the low key in the papers, but she knew it was only a matter of time before that side of her fully came out. “I am completely positive, it’s not a very expensive place, and I offered, just don’t see it as a date, okay?” she questioned with a small little laugh. She was joking of course about the whole date thing; it was just two friends getting together. She hoped it would bring a chuckle to Reagan’s lips at least, that was all she was striving for. If she hurt the girl’s feelings, then she would feel like a worthless piece of shit for saying such a thing. “Great, grab your stuff, and we’ll head out,” she said with a smile as she fixed her grip on her own broom.

So far Reagan was finding being on the team rather amazing, exhausting perhaps but - it was a good kind of exhausting that while tiring, left her feeling like she worked hard and acomplished something well. She had always loved working together with others as a team, and while she still couldn't remember many of her team mates names - she was looking forward to get to know them over time. While she hadn't remembered Camilla's name, she was looking forward to spending some time with her - to get to know her and see what she was like away from brooms and the others. She had always been curious about how some people changed when they weren't around a group, and it had been the other girls idea to go somewhere to eat so - Reagan certainly wasn't going to not take her up on the offer.
Reagan was already finding she liked Camilla, and as she spoke again - Reagan couldn't hold back her own little laugh, "Now - Now Camilla, I prefer to know my possible dates for a little while before I go out on a real date. I like to be wooed a little first." She teased lightly, enjoying the joke - and more so enjoying that Camilla was comfortable enough to joke around. "Just give me a moment and I'll be right back." she chuckled as she hurried over to where she had left her things. Her smile brightened as she quickly gathered her things, pulling her braid out as she came back over to Camilla - her bag over her shoulder and her broom under her other arm as she brushed her free hand through her hair, "Alright - so, I have no idea where this place is - so want to lead the way?"

A laugh left the red lips of Camilla Evans, slipping through right after the girl gave her form of teasing and adding to the simple joke that the young redhead had used moments before. She found it hilarious, and it made her glad that she hadn’t hurt the younger girl’s feelings. “Well that is good to know,” she said with a small chuckle once more, taking a breath to calm herself a bit. Camilla nodded her head as the young girl disappeared for only a moment, allowing her time to pick at the polish that was barely on her nails anymore. And then the brunette returned, and she smiled, “Yup, it’s a bit down from here, walking distance thankfully,” she said with a smile as she began to leave the locker room and head towards the street, leaving behind their practice area. “So—tell me a bit about yourself Regan,” she said with a smile, wanting to get some light conversation as they made their way to the café.

Reagan was pleased when Camilla laughed along with her, silently she was glad that the other girl was okay with her addition and slight teasing of her words. Sometimes not everyone approved of it, particularly when it came to gentle jokes about sexuality and ones dating preference. But so far Camilla seemed nice enough and in Reagan's books - the light joking was totally a win, she didn't comment but instead gave a winning grin before she hurried off to gather her things, being as quick as she could before rushing back to the red haired girls side - her belongs in tow.
She nodded happily, adjusting her bag and her hold on her broom as she fell into step - walking along side her team mate, "No worries - a nice calming walk on the ground is a great way to get my feet adjusting to the earth after a good fly around." she was in a particularly good mood after their practice, "About myself? Well - I'm not sure what you want to know.. I'm just.. me I guess." she gave a small shrug, her head tilting in thought. "What do you wanna know exactly?"

The two girls walked, their bags and brooms carried high about them. You could tell that they had just gotten finished with practice, and the warmth of the air hitting her flesh made her feel alive. She was glad that there was a little café nearby, delighted that it was a mum and pop type owned by a witch and wizard. Not only did that make it great, but they were perfect. The food, the coffee, the tea…oh, it was to die for. She had been to it among the years that she had played Quidditch, having stumbled upon it when leaving practice one day. She had gone back each day since, bringing her hungry stomach with her. She also got to know the owners; they were a beautiful couple that had been together for a long time and had children of their own. They talked about their daughter one day taking over with her husband, or maybe their son taking over while he tried to find a wife. Who knew what the future would bring, but she just prayed that they took over and didn’t shut it down or sell it, it wouldn’t be the same. She could tell by the aura that Reagan held about herself, her smile and perk of walking, which she was in a good mood. She was glad that someone was, she just felt a bit sore. Her leg throwing a bit, but at least her mind knew it was there. She laughed a bit, “Anything…your interest, got a boyfriend or girlfriend? Any siblings?” she questioned, trying to get a start on a friendship, hopefully.

Reagan was used to walking around looking like she had just landed after flying around a lot and she paid it no mind today even as she gave a sigh of relief at the air that hit her skin. It put her in better spirits and she enjoyed the slight breeze that ran through her hair. As useful as it was to keep her hair up for practice - it wasn't the same not feeling the wind blowing her hair around. She didn't really know much about this cafe that Camilla was taking her to - but she was looking forward to seeing what it was going to be like for herself. Besides she wasn't going to complain much as her stomach was eagerly letting her know that she was hungry and wanted to at least eat something regardless of where it was. Working hard at Quidditch always left her feeling hungry - partly due to her almost constantly losing track of time as she flew around up in the air.
She was rarely ever not in a good mood after a good fly around or even better - after a good Quidditch practice, she was in good spirits and her body despite being a little sore - was feeling good, as if she had just had a good and satisfying work out. The soreness she felt was at least a good kind. She tilted her head before nodding slightly, "Well yes I have siblings, all of them are older than myself - I'm the baby of the family actually." she gave a small laugh, "I have three older brothers, and an older sister - my sister is closest to my age." Reagan gave a slight shrug, "As for the other question, no - I'm single and I dont have a girlfriend." she noted the last part with a small grin and a shrug, "Obviously though - I have a big interest in Quidditch, I love being outside and flying around. But - I enjoy painting too. What about you? Same questions for you."

The young strawberry-red woman wanted to know more about the young woman that had just joined the team; she wasn’t the only one of course. She just got a hold of Reagan before she disappeared to return home and spend her time wherever she lived. The girl seemed humbler like she didn’t want to share the information as easily as she could have. Then, after Camilla gave her some ideas, and with a small nod and tilt of her head, she began to speak. It was revealed that the girl didn’t have a girlfriend, leaving Camilla with a bit more information about her sexual orientation, which differed from Camilla herself. And then, the questions were turned on her, and she laughed. She smiled before she spoke, “For the sibling part, I’m lucky to have been an only child, my parents had trouble getting pregnant, so I was a miracle child for them. As for relationships, I’m single as well. And besides being interested in Quidditch, like yourself, I enjoy some reading, and long walks through the park,” she said with a small laugh. “Sorry, I sound like a tinder profile or something,” she said with a shake of her head. “What do you enjoy to paint with? Acrylic, watercolor…something else?”

It wasn't much of a suprise for Reagan to be curious about her new team mates, she had always enjoyed meeting new people well enough, and the fact that she'd be close to her team mates well, it was just another simple reason she was eager to get to know them. It just so happened that this time Reagan hadn't been the one to first approach, in that sense though she was glad that Camilla had reached out towards her. The red haired girl was nice, and amusing as well - a bonus in her books at least. She was already finding herself enjoying the other girls company after all, even if it had felt a little awkward at first for her to talk about herself so much. Turning it around to make Camilla answer the same questions was an easier thing for her to do.
"I can't even imagine what it must be like to be an only child.. I mean, my brothers weren't close to me in age but, I can't imagine not having my siblings." Reagan shook her head slightly, she had at times wondered what it would be like - but in her mind she truly couldn't imagine not having her siblings. She gave a small laugh though, grinning back at the girl, "Tinder profile indeed, but - a little bit of everything really, whatever strikes my mood - although lately its been quite a bit of Acrylic more than anything else."

Camilla used to wonder what it would be like to have siblings, either older or younger, but that never came to pass. Her parents had never really had the thought of adopting or using a surrogate, but after they were able to have Camilla, they just decided that it was enough. The heartbreak of adoption or the surrogate not taking to the pregnancy, that was more painful than the extreme lengths they had to go through to get pregnant themselves. She shrugged her shoulders, “I had always wanted a sibling, it would have been fun to have a younger sister to play with or a brother to torment,” she said with a small laugh. “Consider yourself lucky in that department,” she added with a small smile. In truth, right now – she’d give anything to have her parents alive and well once more, to see all that she had accomplished since their deaths. She let out her laugh as she seemed to amuse the brunette with her tinder joke. But quickly the conversation turned back to her enjoyment of acrylic this time around, though she enjoyed a bit of everything, “You’ll have to show me some of your work, I’d love to see it,” she said with a smile on her lips.

As crazy as her childhood had been, Reagan hadn't ever wished for things to be different. Sure maybe sometimes she had wished for little things to change, like to see her brothers more - or a childish wish to be able to go to school at the same time as her sister instead of waiting for her turn to arrive. But she had loved her family regardless - and considered herself lucky at least in the respect that she had her parents and her siblings even if sometimes it was rare to see them. After she started her years at Hogwarts the only one she saw the most had been her sister, and if she was lucky she'd get to spend a break with her parents.
With a slight shake of her head she shook her memories and thoughts aside, zoning back in quickly to what Camilla was saying. A small groan escaped her - even as a small fond smile curled onto her lips, "I have a lot of experience with both being the one to play with and being hte one tormented." she laughed softly, shaking her head a little, "But yeah - I consider myself lucky, even if I don't have a lot of memories of growing up with my brothers - age gaps and stuff, by the time I could remember things they had been pretty much moved out of home and stuff." Even still, she smiled - she did dearly love her siblings.
Reagan was pretty sure she'd get along well with Camilla if these first interactions were something to go by, she could easily see herself forming a strong friendship, "I'll keep that in mind, although with practice picking up - I haven't had a lot of oppertunities to work on much, maybe I can bring one or two small things to practice one day and show you." she liked the idea of sharing her art, even if they were just small little things.

Hearing about Reagan’s experience with having siblings, made her smile. To be honest, Camilla would have loved to have been picked on by an elder sibling or play with a younger one, but that never came to pass. She loved having her parents to herself, and surely wouldn’t change anything for the world, but sometimes she did wish there were a few things different. Siblings would have been one, the accident never happening would have been another. Reagan was quick to share that her brothers had an age gap between all of them, resulting in some blank spots in her memory, but at least she had some fun memories with her brothers. She smiled, “Well, I’m sure they have tons of stories they enjoy telling you about when you were younger. I’ve heard siblings, especially older ones with age gaps between the youngers, usually have a lot of blackmail stories to tell boyfriends or girlfriends they don’t like,” she said with a small laugh. She wasn’t sure if that was a real thing, but some people had told her about that because of their relationship with siblings. Camilla smiled, “That would be lovely. And don’t bring them to practice, there is plenty of time for us to meet up off the field for you to show me some of your work,” she said with a small laugh and a smile. She was already enjoying the company of young Reagan if this encounter was anything to hold to a candle.
