Odette used to come to the Hog's Head whenever she felt like finding a warm pair of arms for the night after a few drinks. Or if she had had a particularly hard, long day at work she would come and unwind with a drink or five. She had had some good and not so good times at the pub, and that was why it was certainly her favorite. However over the last year and a half or so, she had walked through those doors less and less. But walking through them again for the first time felt like a breath of fresh air. The brunette walked up to the bar and was greeted by the same old bartender that she knew from before, who just nodded and flashed her a brief and knowing smile before grabbing a glass and pouring her some brandy which had always been one of her favorites. He slid it over to her before saying, "this one's on the house, mate." It was good to be back.

The Greyback quietly drank her brandy as she thought back to all of the things she had been through in the last year or two. She had discovered she had a family. Many siblings, to be exact. Siblings she never thought she'd be close to but now siblings she couldn't picture not being close to. She had fallen in love with her best friend and grown closer to her other friends. She found out she was going to be a mother. Jacob died. And she lost that baby. She never thought she could go lower. But her friends, her friends who she loved so deeply, had been there for her. And so had her siblings. And over time, Odette felt happiness again. And honestly, now she was happier than she had ever been.

With a thoughtful, deep sigh, Odette tilted her head back and downed the rest of the brandy before holding up her glass to the bartender to ask for another one. She decided she would spend a while here tonight.
