Bartending paid the bills that much was certain. But it didn't always give Uriah quite the rush he was looking for in life. Merlin knew he couldn't be bothered with mindless hookups or the like, so he had turned to smuggling. Smuggling paid extremely well, and if he wanted to he could certainly quit his bartending job. But it was good to have a cover, as any good smuggler knew. On this dreary autumn day, Uriah's smuggling job had found him in the Coffin House. He had been hired by the owner to smuggle in some artifacts from some vendor from a third world country who had met Uriah in Ireland the night before. Uriah had just dropped off the load to the owner and was now just perusing the shop while he waited on the owner to finish up with a customer so that he could receive his payment. Uriah had never been in this shop before and now he was realizing that was probably for the better. This little shop was beyond odd, and he was certain anyone who walked in or out of her probably got a few pointed looks out on the street. So he mentally prepared himself for that as he stumbled upon a shelf of voodoo items and pretended to look even mildly interested in anything other than getting paid.
