Brandon nodded, smiling back at Tamara. "Exactly! Hopefully they'll be ready to try something and someone new." He was pretty confident in the idea that people would like his music, since they seemed to really like it at the label and at Club Indigo. Whenever he played in public places, he also seemed to get compliments, which was nice as well. She asked what he did at the club and Brandon smiled. "I play music!" He answered, laughing before he explained, "I play a bit earlier in the evening, and then a DJ takes over. Right now I play on weeknights." He enjoyed his job. It helped him prepare for his future career and it was also a nice way of figuring out the kind of music other people liked.
Tamara started explaining how things normally worked at the Daily Prophet and Brandon nodded slowly. It would be good to know this, especially since Rosie was going through the same process with the interning and such. "That's cool. So when you're done interning, do you get to choose what department you go into or do they assign you somewhere?" he asked curiously.

[googlefont="Open Sans Condensed:300"] I POUR MY HEART INTO YOUR HANDS [attr="class","next"] Tamara smiled and nodded her head, she was happy for Brandon and hoped him the best when it came to his music and being able to complete an album or whatever he wanted. He revealed that he played music, which Tamara should have known but instead she questioned anyways, before continuing that he played until the DJ took over, playing simply on weeknights and she nodded her head. “Oh, that’s cool…I might have to stop by when yours playing,” she said with a smile, perhaps she could drag Liam along for a date night or something. His curiosity about her job made her smile, and she listened to his question before answering, “From what I’ve been told—I get to pick where I go. I’m hoping to be a reporter or even a journalist, whichever has an open position when my intern period is up,” she said with a smile. From what she heard, reporters and journalist both had a position open, and she was sure that she would at least get one of them. She preferred the former, but she wouldn’t be opposed to the latter.

Brandon grinned and nodded when Tamara suggested coming by the Club sometime when he was playing. "Do it! I'd love to see you while I work and we could even talk afterwards or something." Brandon loved running into people he met. He felt like it made him a better performer when people he knew were in the audience. Apart from that, he loved the excuse to talk to them after his shift. He really was enjoying his job at the Club too, a lot more than he thought he would. Then again, he was just playing music, so it shouldn't be that much of a surprise. He was always happy when he was playing.
Tamara started explaining that she thought she did get a choice as to what she did, and then went on to tell him that her preferred positions were as a journalist or reporter. Brandon frowned a little bit. "I thought those were the same thing ... what's the difference?" He wasn't trying to be rude or anything- did Brandon ever?- he just wanted to understand a little more. Besides, Rosie was an intern too. Knowing more about the system wouldn't hurt at all. He might even impress her with his knowledge.

[googlefont="Open Sans Condensed:300"] I POUR MY HEART INTO YOUR HANDS [attr="class","next"] The brunette found herself smiling and nodding her head as she seemed to make Brandon excited about her coming by the club to see him play, even adding that they could even talk afterward or something. She nodded her head, “I’d love that,” she said truthfully. It would be fun to hang out with an old friend, especially someone as friendly as Brandon is. ‘I thought those were the same thing…what’s the different?’ Tamara opened her mouth before slowly closing it, resembling a blubbering fish and then she frowned before allowing a laugh to leave her lips. She shrugged her shoulders, “I don’t know if there is much of one – my only guess would be a Reporter like reports on political changes and as the terrorists while Journalists talk about all the good stuff?” she questioned, letting out a soft laugh at how she explained it. “There has to be a difference though, right? Maybe I’ll ask before I move up and when I swing by to see you play—I’ll give you a clear and correct answer,” she said with a smile on her face. Now that Brandon had pointed it out, she was quite curious about the different job positions that pretty much did the same thing.

Brandon loved it when people came to visit him when he was working at Club Indigo. He knew it didn't always make people feel comfortable, Rosie especially didn't always like the environment there, but she still came to support him and he loved that. The fact that others of his friends were willing to come too made him very excited about it.
He watched curiously as Tamara started to explain, or at least looked like she was about to, before saying she wasn't sure if there was a difference. Then she said what she thought the difference was and he nodded. "Oh okay that makes sense." It sounded reasonable enough. "So you definitely would rather be a Journalist then, right?" Yes, he was teasing a little bit now, but he couldn't help it. He nodded, "That sounds great! I'll expect you to give me an answer when you come to the Club then." He was really excited about that. "I won't forget," he told her, wagging his pointer finger a little.

BUT IT FEELS LIKE I'VE OPENED MY EYES AGAIN AND THE COLORS ARE GOLDEN AND BRIGHT AGAIN
'Oh okay that makes sense. So you definitely would rather be a Journalist then, right?' his words caused a small laugh to leave her lips, and she smiled. "I mean, we all want the good stuff to be happening in the world, so when that happens, I'll gladly write about the good things in life," she said truthfully. She knew he was teasing, but she still answered with her honest opinion. Once Elaine and her group were gone, maybe then there would be good things to report.
She let out a soft laugh and nodded her head, "I don't doubt that one second. It's a plan then," she said with a smile on her face. Her phone beeped, and she frowned, giving her a look of guilt before pulling out her phone and reading her text. Frowning, she looked at Brandon, "Sorry, I gotta go. It's been great catching up though. I'll see you next time you play," she said with a smile on her face before excusing herself and disappearing into the small crowd that had appeared within the Alley. @brandon || le end for tamara

Brandon nodded as Tamara explained that she'd prefer to write about the good stuff if she could. He liked how she didn't let his teasing get to her. She still answered honestly and sincerely, which was something he could admire. Some people got so flustered when other people teased them that they couldn't get anything done. It was annoying. The next thing he knew, her phone was beeping and Tamara frowned as she looked at it. She said she had to go and Brandon nodded. "No problem. I'll see you around. Have a good one," he told her, watching as she left and then turning back to his own things. He always liked running into old friends. --- the end --- @tamara
