Hogsmeade Weekend Joe liked this girls style. He hadn't met anyone at Hogwarts with such a sense for spontaneous adventure, it was very refreshing. Dom was already proving to be great company, he was curious to where this encounter would lead them. She was very fun and flirty. When Dom left the destiny up to him, mentioning scoping the outside, he shrugged. The outside didn't seem interesting at all. Joe laughed, "Well, I've never been one for beating around the bush, so let's go right inside." Joe stated bravely, sealing his decision with a firm nod and smile. He turned the knob and pushed the door open with an eerie squeak, poking his head into the dark room hesitantly at first. Joe stepped inside and waved a hand for Dom to follow, he peered his head to curiously look around. There was nothing but a bunch of cobwebs, dust, and old furniture. "Alright, gorgeous, you lead the way..." he waved a hand in the air, gesturing inside the house. "Show me something scary." he snorted, waggling his eyebrows playfully. He wasn't afraid of some old house. MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOXOGRAPHY 2.0

This was a lot more fun than Dom expected to have today when she headed to Hogsmeade for an interview at Honeydukes. She still wasn’t entirely sure if she wanted the job there, but right about now she was considering the day a success because of how much fun she was having right now. She was also considering a potential trip to America, to see if most Americans were like him, because this was fun. Maybe she would fit in better with people across the ocean, but that was only likely if more of them were like her and Joe.
Dom watched Joe, waiting for him to make a decision on where they should start their adventure. If she read him right, he was going to choose to go straight inside, which was definitely what she preferred. Why hang around outside a place when the inside was definitely far more interesting? She chuckled when he decided to go inside and pushed the door open. She followed him inside, noticing his hesitation but not commenting on it. Once she’d entered, she closed the door behind herself. No need to let everyone who decided to visit the Shack know that people were inside.
Joe encouraged her to lead him around and show him something scary. She quirked an eyebrow at him, smirking, “What, this isn’t scary enough for you?” she teased. Dom started to walk towards the stairs. The upstairs weren’t particularly scary, but out of all the things in the house, she considered the stairs the most scary. They were somewhat like the Hogwarts castle stairs, in the way that some of them had hidden holes and liked to catch unsuspecting people by disappearing as they walked up. Dom turned to face Joe, hoping to keep his attention on her so he wouldn’t focus on the stairs and possibly get caught. When one was caught in them, the stairs emitted a loud croaking sound that frightened a few people. Maybe Joe would be one of those. She went up a few stairs first and then turned to look at him. “So, anything here catching your eye? Other than me, of course?” she teased, winking at him and patting his shoulder somewhat sweetly, twisting her head to the side a little.

Hogsmeade Weekend Joe eagerly started to follow Dom as she walked up the stairs, immediately taking her bait. His eyes were naughtily stealing a glimpse of her bum, and the shape of her hips, as she slowly walked up the stairs, right before she stopped to turn around and tease him a bit. Tapping on his shoulder ever so sweetly. Biting down on his lip at her statement, he nodded his head confidently, there was definitely something that had caught his eye. "Nothing could outshine a lady as beautiful as you. Not even the creepiest house in Scotland..." he charmed back at her with a wink, taking each stair one at a time. Then, something weird happened... one foot sank deeper than the stairs step, and he felt himself sinking forward into coldness. Reaching for the railing with a quick motion, "Uh, what the-" Joe froze when he heard something shift from under the staircase. A deep growl rumbled throughout the rickety home, and a couple of vicious bangs followed below. Joe looked up at Dom with a blank face, she was already standing at the top of the staircase watching the humorous display. Yanking his one leg out of the cool, dark abyss, he shuddered slightly with a full body shake and ran up the rest of the stairs. "Ooh, you're sneaky...I need to be careful what I ask for from you, apparently." he challenged with threaded brows and pursed lips, making a funny face to show that he was actually amused by this. This was fun. Dom liked how it was clearly evident that she had this guy’s full attention. He obviously wasn’t paying attention to the house or the stairs or anything, his eyes entirely focused on her when she turned around and touched his shoulder. She couldn’t help but smirk when he said that nothing could outshine her, not even this house. “Good to know,” she purred, keeping the eye contact on purpose. He’d almost reached the spot.
Oh, it was perfect! Dom couldn’t help the grin that covered her face the second his foot started slipping and he reached for the rail. She giggled when he spoke, obviously entirely confused. She heard the growl, felt it as well, but there wasn’t anything to worry about. The house was just odd, nothing was going to happen. She was totally engaged in watching him, winking when he glanced up to her, seemingly stunned. “You all right there?” she called, feigning concern, but not moving any closer. She wouldn’t be surprised if someone like Joe pulled her to be stuck with him. Better stay out of reach for the moment.
It didn’t take long for Joe to pull himself out of the step and run to the top of the stairs. One of her eyebrows lifted with impressed surprise. Most people couldn’t pull themselves out of a trick step so easily. Quickly shifting to an innocent expression, Dom looked up into his eyes. “Whatever are you talking about? I didn’t do anything,” she responded, the right corner of her lip twitching into a smile. After a moment she gave up and let a chuckle out. “Do you want to decide where we go next? That way, you can’t blame me for anything?” Dom teased, taking a step back from him and gesturing for him to go ahead.

Hogsmeade Weekend Joe knew that her luring him up the stairs was all her plan. That all worked too perfectly. Dom was fun though. He really enjoyed how spontaneous she was and how much of a free spirit she was proving to be. Her sense of humor was on point, she was keeping Joe on his toes every minute they were together so far. She asked him if he was okay, pretending to be concerned, "Doin' wonderful!" he called out at the last step, smiling at Dom, trying to appear unphased from her little trick stairs. “Do you want to decide where we go next? That way, you can’t blame me for anything?” His head tilted to the side, an eyebrow quirking in her direction. "Are you referring to the place I take you on our first date? The only thing I can blame you for is taking my heart." Joes tone oozed with a flirtatious charm that was too easy for him. His lips tugged upwards into a sweet smile, green eyes meeting with hers for a moment. He knew she was talking about the stupid house, it was just fun flirting with Dom, it was too easy. Joe took a step forward when she waved him along, taking her challenge to lead the way upstairs. Joe pushed open one of the doors and poked his head through the door with a shrug, "Ooh, scary. Cobwebs and dust." he teased poking her in the side in an attempt to startle her. MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOXOGRAPHY 2.0

He was a good sport. That was part of the reason this was so much fun. Dom could tease him and mess around and she already knew- after such a short while with the guy- that he would take things well. He didn't seem the type to be fine with everything one minute, but then freaking out the next. It was very refreshing and enjoyable, which was part of the reason Dom didn't seem to be able to help herself. First, with convincing him to come out to the shack. Next, teasing him on the stairs. It was all in good fun though. He responded better than he expected when he found himself caught in the stairs, saying he was doing wonderfully and Dom found herself simply nodding at him as he said so.
Dom chuckled when he answered her, talking about taking her on a first date. "Oh, you definitely get to decide where we're going for our first date, because as much as I love this place, I'm not counting it," Dom countered. She didn't say anything to his comment of her taking his heart, simply lifting a shoulder and smiling over at him, an innocent expression on her face. She was having too much of a good time with this guy. It wasn't often that she ran into people she could just enjoy herself with like this. It was nice.
He started down the hallway, opening the door to a room and peeking in. Dom moved a little closer, looking in past his shoulder and scrunching her nose. "Yeah ... I don't see anything all too interesting there yet. Maybe the next one?" She asked, her smile widening when he poked her. "Sorry mate, I don't scare easily. I'm the one looking for the thrills," Dom told him, stepping back and winking as she gestured for him to take the lead again.

Hogsmeade Weekend When Dom said that she wasn't counting this place as her first date, he grinned, loving that she was always so willing to play along. He would definitely take her on a date, she was a lot of fun, this wouldn't be their last encounter if she agreed to it. "Well, good. What do you like to eat?" he asked casually, it didn't hurt to think of places to take her on their first date as they walked down the hallway further, past another room. It was nice to know her. This was surprisingly a lot of fun, he was glad he went to Hogsmeade today. Dom didn't react to the poke which was a surprise to him because his sister Ashley was extremely ticklish, to the point where it was dangerous at times. Joe tilted his head to the side, "Ooh.. you want thrills, huh?" he challenged her with a smirk, green eyes meeting hers with a flirtatious gaze as he bit down on his lip. A laugh slipped passed Joes lips as she gestured for him to lead the way again. Was she meaning it in the way that he was thinking? She was being very fun and flirty, he'd love to take the opportunity. "I can show you a thrill, heh. If you want me to." he urged, waggling his eyebrows playfully. "Wanna make out in The Shrieking Shack?" Joe blatantly asked her, quite shamelessly. Dom was gorgeous, and hilarious. Joe wasn't looking to take anything too seriously, he just wanted to have fun, as well as enjoy his own share of thrills. MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOXOGRAPHY 2.0

Joe asked what she liked to eat and Dom twisted her head to the side for a second, considering. "Anything?" She knew that sounded lame, so she continued, "I like trying things I've never tried before, but I will honestly eat whatever. I'm not picky at all, and my favorites change from day to day so I can't tell you that either." Dom laughed, shaking her head at herself. This is why so many people got tired of her so quickly. She could be ridiculous. She glanced over at Joe again, trying to gauge his thoughts about her answer.
She smirked right back at him as he questioned if she wanted thrills. "I always do," she answered in a low tone, eyes meeting his, challenge glittering in them. He laughed, saying that he could show her a thrill if she wanted him to. Dom was loving every second of this. The thing was, Joe seemed to be the kind of person she loved doing things with. He wasn't taking her seriously, he wanted the same thing she did: fun. She took a step closer to him, just a second before he asked if she wanted to make out. Dom lifted an eyebrow at him, "If you have to ask, how do I know there's going to be any thrill involved," she muttered, leaning close as she whispered so her lips were merely inches away from his, still staring into his eyes. Then Dom stepped back, shrugging her shoulders and smirking at him, "Guess I might as well just continue on my way," she teased, walking further down the hall before glancing over her shoulder back at him, her expression daring him to come after her. "Are you coming?" Dom asked sweetly, unable to resist. This was the most fun she'd had in a while.

Hogsmeade Weekend Joe was taking the bait. Her lips were inches from his, until he asked that stupid question. Mentally, he was kicking himself in the inside. Well, that figures... Dom was playing hard to get! When she said her part, and turned to walk away, he was stuck standing there for a moment to digest the situation with a funny look on his face. Joe tilted his head to the side, turning his body to watch as Dom walked down the hallway. "Oooh, excuuuse me!" his mouth gaped dumbfoundedly, but equally entertained. Joe allowed a huff to pass his lips as she started walking away, smirking with a flicker in his eye, "Sorry, back in America we have to ask for permission because everyone gets offended so easily." Joe played it off passively playful with a shrug of the shoulders. "I can wait. No rush there. Guess I'll surprise you when you least expect it since you're such a thrill seeker.." he followed slowly after her, happy that she was taking the lead now, because he had no clue where he was going... Wait. That was probably a bad thing. But Dom was making it too easy to succumb to the urges. This was too easy. MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOXOGRAPHY 2.0

The look on his face was absolutely worth the fact that she'd have to wait a little bit to snog him. It'd be worth it, she was sure. This was one of the things Dom loved about flirting, especially with the right people. The anticipation made it all that much more worth it. She laughed when he exclaimed that she should excuse him, somewhat sarcastically. "I suppose I can this time, since we just met and all," she teased right back at him. She laughed when he said that in America they needed to ask permission. "I'll keep that in mind if I ever head over there," Dom answered, smirking and turning to face where she was going for a second, flipping her hair over her shoulder. After a second she turned around and stopped, eyeing Joe as if she was inspecting him. "Do you want to check out the attic? I've never actually gone up there before ..." that meant it would be even more fun, because they could explore it together. If he was up for that sort of a thing, of course.

Hogsmeade Weekend Joe followed after Dom, listening with interest as she spoke. He was close to her still, never being one who minded personal space. Dom didn't seem like the kind of girl to mind. She mentioned never have gone in the attic before, and Joe nodded with interest, his eyes flickering to the ceiling. Dom was looking him up and down now, that flirtatiousness he was enjoying so much, still oozing from her. "Attic sounds cool and all..." he started with a slow smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth. "But is there a basement? That sounds more 'spooky' than an attic to me..." Joe challenged bravely, quirking an eyebrow in her direction and offering a quizzical look. If she was a true thrill seeker like she said she was, she would be up for anything, right? Joe wasn't easily scared, so this was nothing for him. Hell, he would love for something to scare him enough to make him feel that kind of emotion.

Joe walked close behind Dom, which honestly just made her smirk. It was clear to her that the guy was having a good time and enjoyed being around her, which was definitely a good thing because she felt the same. Dom definitely would have been a bit disappointed if he just wanted to get rid of her. The smile on his face said he didn’t though.
He seemed contemplative when she mentioned going up to the attic. After a moment, he answered her slowly, smirking at her with his flirtatious tone as he said that the attic sounded cool, but then mentioned a basement. Dom’s eyes lit up with excitement as she started to smirk back at him. “You know, no one’s ever mentioned a basement, but that definitely does sound more spooky. Are you saying you want to look for it with me?” She was certain he was, but Dom also couldn’t resist the chance to tease him. Joe could obviously take it, he was full of confidence, which just made him more fun to be around.
She reached forward, lightly taking his hand as she started to lead him back to the stairs, moving backwards for the first little bit. He could pull away if he wanted, but Dom was fairly certain he wouldn’t. Joe was in this for the fun too, she could tell. “Don’t forget about that trick step,” she teased as they started to descend the staircase. “Which way?” Dom asked as they approached the bottom. “Left or right?” Since she didn’t know where an entrance to the basement might be- if there was a basement- she might as well let him help out in the decision making.

Hogsmeade Weekend Joe couldn't believe how much fun this was. He couldn't remember a time he had ever went into a haunted house with a girl, at least, not a ~real one. So far, nothing had spooked him, other than that stupid trick stair... He was up for the basement if Dom was. It was fun to challenge her bravery, nothing seemed to phase her. As they made their way downstairs, Joe scoffed at her comment, pretending to step into that same stair again with a funny face. Funnily enough, he almost got caught again. Joe did a full body shake before skipping the last three steps. "Nobody talks about the basement because they're too scared to go probably." he quipped, still smirking. As Dom asked right or left, he tugged her hand gently toward the right, "Basements in America are usually near the kitchen... Kitchen would be this way, I'm guessing..." he mused, taking slow steps on the creaking floorboards. They stepped into the dusty old kitchen. The light streamed through the windows, dust particles dancing in the air as they moved throughout the stagnant house. Joes green eyes peered around as he took in all in, there wasn't much, but the door across the kitchen was what he was looking for. "I bet it's that door. What do you think?" he asked Dom, trying to read her expression if she was scared or not. Joe took a couple of steps across the kitchen, still linked at the hands with Dom. He looked at the door knob, to Dom, and back at the doorknob, before quickly turning it without hesitating any longer. The door creaked open slowly, two top stairs could be seen before being swallowed by complete darkness. Joe turned to Dom with a smirk, "Ladies first." he sang, waving along playfully with his free hand. He didn't really mean it in this case, but he had a feeling like Dom would be down anyways... @dominique MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOXOGRAPHY 2.0 [googlefont=Alegreya Sans SC:400]

Dom totally noticed him joking around and almost getting caught in the stair again. She didn't say anything, since the embarrassed look on his face satisfied her plenty. He knew he almost fell on his face and that was enough for Dom ... for now anyway. She laughed when he said that people didn't talk about basements because they were too scared to find them. "Or they like to keep their secrets. We Brits can be very secretive," she teased bag, wiggling her eyebrows at him. She followed him easily as he searched for the kitchen. "Your guess is as good as mine," Dom answered, looking around herself curiously. She'd never been to this part of the house, surprisingly enough.
The kitchen was old and it was obvious that no one had been there in a long time. Sure, most of the house wasn't much better, but she knew students sneaked in every once in a while. Not here. There weren't any footprints anywhere, which made it a little more creepy. Instead of growing scared by that, Dom was excited. This was the type of thing she lived for. Doing things that no one else would dare. She let Joe take the lead, enjoying how he kept looking back to see if she was okay before opening the door.
Joe turned to her once the door was opened. She glanced down, a little surprised that she could only see a few stairs before it was all black, but that didn't worry her. She quirked an eyebrow at him, sensing the challenge and also the fact that he was teasing. Ha. Like that would stop her. "Love to," she agreed, taking a step toward the stairs. Going down first meant all sorts of things. Like, it opened the possibilities for her to scare the boy behind her, let her see things first. Her wand was in her pocket, but Dom didn't pull it out. She preferred to do these sorts of things by feel, at least at first. She turned and winked at Joe before beginning to descend the staircase.
There were no trick stairs, which Dom definitely considered a good thing as she went into the dark. The staircase wasn't very big. "There aren't a lot of stairs," she muttered to Joe. She knew she didn't have to be quiet, but it was just natural in this kind of a circumstance. She looked around, impatient for her eyes to adjust to the darkness. After a second, she slid away from the stairs into the darkness, feeling an urge to tease Joe. "Is this creepy enough for you," she whispered, before sliding to the side so he wouldn't know where she was. Unless he cheated and used his want, which would definitely be disappointing.

Hogsmeade Weekend Well, this was going well. The basement was creepy, and dark. Something was dripping in the background, somewhere. He followed behind her, each creaky stair, one by one. This was fun.Her whisper sent a shiver down his spine, and goose bumps covered his arms, but he was also on the brink of full fledged laugher. Where the hell did she go? He was right behind her a second ago. His eyes were taking forever to adjust in the darkness, but he wasn't going to pull out his wand if Dom wanted to be spooked too. Joe laughed, reaching out in front of him. "Ha--Where'd you go?" he asked quickly but humor still behind his voice. He could take a joke. Joe reached out to feel for her, but nothing. Joe shrugged, taking the last time carefully onto the concrete. "Psh. Whatever, you lil creep, you probably live down here..." Joe called out jokingly, trying to appear unphased, but still wondering where she slid off to so easily. His eyes weren't adjusting as quickly as he'd hoped.@dominique
