Jess smiled, chuckling as Beatrice started talking about young love. She knew her friend was teasing, or she might have felt a little uncomfortable with the label of "love", but that was mostly because she hadn't really figured out how she felt yet. She cared about Finley a lot. Every moment she spent with him was a good one, she just hadn't thought about how strong her feelings were for him yet. She would figure that out with him sometime, hopefully. She nodded as her friend mentioned her own "young love" when she was in school. "I didn't know him in school," Jess admitted, though she found herself wishing she had. How would it have been to be able to spend so much time with him, before either of them had to worry about work and real responsibilities. "but that sounds really fun."
Talking about Isolde was a little more disturbing, but honestly Jess was trying not to think about it. The older woman worried her, especially since she didn't know what happened to her. "Yeah ... I am glad about that. It did get really personal ... and strange. I saw her in the street one day and she pretended like she didn't even know me, and then the next day she was all personal and chipper ... it was odd." Her mind flashed to the last time she saw Isolde, when the woman asked her for help and Jess had been unable to do anything before she left. Jess shivered, "I'm not really sad that I don't see her much anymore," Jess admitted softly. "So, how about you? Have you had any amazing interviews lately?"
