November Victoire hadn't spoken to her Aunt Ginny since Harry had vanished. Well, at least not one on one. She decided it was finally time to try and convince Ginny that The Order being disbanded was a for a good cause, and that Ginny should be on her side. Her aunt had always been feisty, so why was she not taking advantage of the chance to really cause Elaine and her cronies some pain? Not that Victoire wanted to torture anyone, but she wanted to at least arrest them, or eradicate them. Sitting and talking wasn't going to to any good and Vic was sure that she could convince her aunt to see her side. She arrived at her aunts place of work around noon, hoping that Ginny could take some time for lunch to talk to her. She went up to the Prophets front desk and was directed to Ginnys office. With a security guard in tow (media people had a lot of enemies, so precautions were made) Vic arrived at her Aunts office and knocked on the door. Ginevra Molly Potter

[googlefont="Open Sans Condensed:300"] BUT WE DON'T WANNA GROW UP [attr="class","next"] NOVEMBER 2024 When the Order had disbanded, she hadn’t like the idea but had stuck to the side that she believed still followed Harry and the original Order’s agenda. Wanting revenge and hitting someone where it hurts, was something that Ginny wanted – she wanted her husband back for fuck sake or to kill the person that had taken his life – but that isn’t what Harry would have wanted. Thus, she had stuck to the passive side and was going a bit stir-crazy with it. She agreed with Hermione and the rest of Ouroboros, but her heart sided with her niece and that of the Heliopaths. That November day, Ginny was at work shut into her office, she had gotten a call from the receptionist that someone had come to see her, revealing it was someone that said she was her niece. Thus, when the door was knocked on, and Ginny called “Come in!” She was not prepared for who entered the room. The familiar blonde, someone she hadn’t spoken to for quite some time, with a security guard in tow had arrived. She smiled lightly, nodding to the guard as he disappeared and left the two women alone. “Victoire, what a surprise. Please, come in—sit. Would you like some tea?” she questioned as she waved her wand and watched as a tray with a kettle and mugs on it slowly moved towards them.

At first Victoire wasn't sure if Ginny's office was the best place to talk, but then she realized that it actually was probably a pretty secure place. The offices at the Ministry were very private and well protected, it was impossible to be overheard... maybe the old saying of 'keep your enemies closer' had some merit. Not that the Ministry was Victoires enemy, per say, nor was the Daily Prophet - but the concept was similar. They wouldn't love what she was here to do. Actually, the Prophet might love to get the inside scoop on Vics little gang... but hopefully this office was safe enough. It wasn't like her column was about anything incredibly serious, so why would anyone spy on her? Vic closed the door behind her as she stepped inside. "Yes that would be lovely," Victoire agreed. Maybe the tea would help them both feel more at ease, once the harder conversation topics came up. "I hope I didn't intrude on a deadline or anything," Vic commented. Ginevra Molly Potter

[googlefont="Open Sans Condensed:300"] BUT WE DON'T WANNA GROW UP [attr="class","next"] Ginny hadn’t seen much of her niece, Victoire, in quite some time – especially after the split of the Order once Harry’s wand was recovered. The side that Victoire picked was much against the true meaning of the Order, at least, in Ginny’s eyes. The Order stood for something else, and what the Heliopaths stood for was not that. But she didn’t blame the young woman, she didn’t blame anyone, she was just set in her ways in following what Harry would have followed, and she agreed with it. When the girl agreed to tea, it was quickly poured, and milk and sugar were presented to Victoire to add as she wished. She allowed the spoon to twirl around in the drink on its own and she smiled at her niece. “Oh no, you aren’t intruding. My deadline is not for some time,” she said with a small laugh leaving her lips. Taking a sip of her tea, she allowed the warmth of it to fill her throat before she looked at the blonde expectantly. “To what do I owe the pleasure, Vic?”

Ginny said that Vic wasn't interrupting, asking what Vic was there for. Vic looked down at the tea for a moment, watching her aunts hands work before speaking as she looked back up slowly. "I think you know what I want," she said, just jumping straight to the point. She leaned forward, "aunt Gin, how can you not want to hit them where it hurts? Harry's gone and... I know it's her fault," 'her' being Elaine Dupree. "I'm going to find her. And I think that you should be with me. I think that YOU should find her," she explained firmly. She felt bad coming into Ginnys workday like this, but she had big things planned and she wanted - no - needing Ginny on her side. Still, she hadn't considered what Harry would do in this situation... probably something brilliant or brave or selfless. Classic Harry. "Ginny I... I don't think I'm the one who deserves to stop her. I think it's you. I want to know why you are... well, I guess I need to understand why you think diplomacy is better."Ginevra Molly Potter

[googlefont="Open Sans Condensed:300"] BUT WE DON'T WANNA GROW UP [attr="class","next"] ‘I think you know what I want. Aunt Gin, how can you not want to hit them where it hurts? Harry's gone and... I think it's you. I want to know why you are... well, I guess I need to understand why you think diplomacy is better.’Of course, she should have known this is what her dear niece would want to speak to her about while she was in the office. She listened to her, she really did, but she merely sat there drinking sips of her tea until she was finished. Ginny knew where she was coming from, by God, did she—and she wanted to be the one that found Elaine and made her pay—but that wasn’t her anymore. When she was younger, back during the time of Voldemort, she would have joined Vic’s side in an instant, but this was not what the Order once was—this was not what Harry wanted it to become. What if Harry was still alive and they did something rash under Victoire’s orders, what if he died because she jumped the gun? She couldn’t live with herself. She had hoped that her husband was alive and she believed that Hermione had a better chance of finding him in this situation, they just had to be patient. She swallowed, “Victoire, I understand where you are coming from. Believe me, I do. Who I was back when I was a teenager, the last things I remembered before being thrust into my adult life with only memories of my teenage years, I know that girl would have joined you in a heartbeat. I want her—gone, but I don’t want to lose Harry in the process. I have hope he’s alive, and doing something so rash and stupid as going up against her willy-nilly is not going to save him. I don’t think diplomacy is any better, it’s slow and boring—but if Harry is dead…I want to honor the Order he left behind instead of what it has split into…”

For a moment, Victoire thought that Ginny was going to kick her out without a word. But her aunt answered her, and Vic slowly leaned forward to listen to the explanation. She understood what her aunt meant, wanting to protect what Harry had left behind... and in a way Victoire wanted that too but she was doing it differently. She didn't want to overthink which side of the new Orders was more like what Harry would want. Because somewhere inside she knew that she would be wrong. When Ginny stopped, Victoire immediately spoke. "I'm just scared of us taking too much time to find out what happened to him. If he is alive, and maybe they have him captive somewhere, shouldn't we be trying to find him? I mean, I don't know exactly what you guys are doing, but I think we need to draw her out somehow to get answers, and I don't think anything is working..." she sat up a little straighter. "I need you to know that I'm going to take things even farther. I'd like your support, even if you don't help me."Ginevra Molly Potter

[googlefont="Open Sans Condensed:300"] BUT WE DON'T WANNA GROW UP [attr="class","next"] Ginny agreed with her niece, by God she did. She wanted just to take her out one way or another. She wasn’t like Hermione or the others that were part of Ouroboros, it took to long, and they were literally doing nothing but hoping that the aurors will find Harry or something diplomatic will be thrown on the table to end this. With Voldemort, no one cared about starting a war and ending it—and a part of Ginny wished it was like that then, but Harry had been at the lead of that, he had been what he called ‘The Chosen One,’ and he ended things once and for all that fateful night, the same night that Victoire called her birthday and she was named after. If Harry wasn’t missing and was here, what side would he have gone to? Ginny knew the answer, his disappearance and way of life as a teen revealed that, he likely would have sided with Heliopath. Ginny listened to what her niece had to say, and she let out a soft sigh, rubbing her finger against her eye before brushing a strand of shoulder length hair behind her ear. She missed having long ginger locks as she did as a teenager, perhaps she’d let it grow back out. She let out a soft laugh, “If they are doing something I haven’t heard anything…you guys are probably doing a lot more than we are. And I understand what you are saying Vic, I do—but aren’t you worried that by trying to draw her out, you could potentially be killing Harry? What happens if you get to close to her base or her and she acts like a caged animal and kills her prisoners? What if Harry loses his life because you were trying to save him?” she breathed out, her voice cracking at the possibility of killing her husband because of her actions. “But at the same time—what if I’m killing him because I’m not doing anything but sitting back and letting the professionals take care of everything.”Ginny was caught in the middle, she wanted to help her niece, but she also didn’t want to kill her husband in the process if he was alive. But which side would save him or get him killed? She swallowed as Victoire spoke, ‘I'd like your support, even if you don't help me.’, and she nodded her head. “You have my support Victoire, you do—but I can’t help you, not now at least…” She wanted to tell her that she wished she could help, but she was trapped in fear of losing her husband because of whatever either side of the order did to save him.

Ginny was a good listener, even if she was preparing to shoot Victoire down. Ginny seemed lighthearted somehow... or rather just good at taking Victoires intensity in stride. That made Vic feel a little better. She relaxed a little, taking in Ginnys words. Potentially killing Harry was the last thing Vic wanted to do. But, on all honesty, there was more to it than Harry... but Vic wasn't ready to admit that. Vic looked down when her aunts voice cracked, her jaw clenching. Then Ginny said what Vic wanted to hear - that what if she was killing him by not doing anything. Vic looked up, eyes hopeful. She said she had her support but couldn't help her, not now. That was good enough for now. Vic nodded, "I'll find him," Vic said, standing, "and I'll kill her."Ginevra Molly Potter

[googlefont="Open Sans Condensed:300"] BUT WE DON'T WANNA GROW UP [attr="class","next"] Ginny remembered a time when she was just like Victoire, a spitfire young woman with a blunt nature and a protective stride. She still remembered that young girl, the last bit of memory she had been just after Voldemort was defeated. That young girl had fought her heart out and did so passionately to save her friends and family. And what would she think of the woman she had become? Probably would have spit in her face or told her off, she wasn’t like her mother or the girl she once was – she was just Ginny. The girl that worked at a desk that she didn’t want. She wanted to be in action, but maybe that was only her child-like mind and not the true Ginny she had become. Losing her memory had lost the maturity that she wished she had, and while she acted mature and like normal – there was always a little voice reminding her of what she once was. She swallowed, “Please—be careful. I’ll never forgive myself if you get hurt—if any of your group get hurt….” she breathed out. She knew that Hermione would frown at Ginny for even egging Vic and her group on, but maybe it wouldn’t hurt to have both sides of the Order attempting to save Harry different ways – perhaps apart they would fall, but together they stood a chance?

Ginny swallowed, and Vic's eyes zoned in on her while she spoke. Vic couldn't help but crack a small, half smile. "Don't worry, I always think things through," but that was trying old Vic. Since Harry's disappearance she had latched onto a wild version of herself, someone she barely recognized when she looked in the mirror. With the insanely think figure, the sunken eyes, the sleepless look. Maybe in a way her and Ginny had trade places, restoring balance to the universe. No matter what, Vic wishes Ginny could remember the last years. Maybe then she would remember Vic growing up and how she usually had the right instincts. Maybe Ginny would trust Vic's gut on this one. "Stay tuned, aunt Gin," she encouraged, then she was out the door. Ginevra Molly Potter(The end, not much left to say!)
