December 21st 2024
Lucy wasn’t sure what made her want to go to the Hogsmeade winter carnival that year. She hadn’t gone the previous year, even though she had stayed at school for the holidays. But for some reason, she was feeling nostalgic for the time that Anna had made her go along with her. Tomorrow, she and Anna would be heading off, on a train, to France in search of Anna’s husband, whom Anna was sure was missing. Lucy didn’t know what to expect from their trip, but she wasn’t going to let Anna go alone. She got ahold of Anna and asked her twin to meet her here after she got off of work. She thought this place would be a good distraction from what she was currently feeling. From the fear of possibly never seeing her husband again.
But right now, Lucy was just walking. She rarely passed a face that she recognized. Several, she vaguely did from here time at school, but none she was close to or wanted to speak to. She stopped in line for a hot chocolate stand.

[googlefont="Thasadith"] Every Christmas was difficult. That was inevitable. However this year was bound to be worse, and Teddy decided he would just be celebrating Christmas on his own in his flat. He knew he would be visiting his grandmother later at night, but it wasn't a day he was hoping to see anyone. However when he heard Hogsmeade was having a festival of sorts, Teddy knew his presence would be enjoyed.
In fact, he immediately passed by a flash of red hair. Eyebrows wiggling, he caught sight of Lucy as to not interrupt the day of some random gingered person. Teddy grinned his mouth full of teeth and walked up behind Lucy, tilting his head around her shoulder. "Boo."

Lucy stood unwavering when Teddy tried to scare her. She was a little hard to scare than that, however, a smile did creep it’s way onto her lips as she turned around and saw the young man standing there, “Hi Teddy.” she smirked with a giggle when she saw him. “Nice try.” she teased. It had been a while since she had seen the man, he was basically a part of the family, even though he technically wasn’t. They had grown up around one another, but him being older than her meant that they weren’t very close as kids. They weren’t very close now, either. Lucy wasn’t truly close with anyone in her family except for Lucy, but she put up with most of them, some more than most. Teddy was one of the lucky ones that she didn’t mind too much.
