He heard her call out, his eyes catching sight of her as she turned around the corner of the building. He moved forward, eyes on the sky for a moment, glancing at the dragons above. "Well I think we've outlived our usefulness here," he shifted his gaze to her, "are you going to join the others or... Should we just get out of here?" even though he was a student he wasn't underage so technically he could join the others at Azkaban prison but he wasn't planning on doing that. He reached out, suddenly, to grab Lucy's hand, "come on," his voice was a hushed whisper, "let's go."

Lucy couldn’t help the small chuckle that escaped her lips when he admitted that they were probably done here. She had other plans for the attack which didn’t include falling from the sky and having to be saved by a man whom she barely knew, but it was no surprise that Lucy Weasley had been so unorganized and forgotten when the attack was taking place. “No let’s just go.” she shook her head, she wasn’t going to Azkaban. That was too risky for her. Other members of her family could be there. What was the use of being able to remain undetected by members of opposing groups if she went face to face with them? That wasn’t going to happen. She’d rather fight a dragon than allow her aunts or uncles to see her there. She wanted to keep up the idea that she wasn’t involved at all. That she was too busy acting and no good at that type of magic anyway. He seemed to agree and grabbed her hand, insisting that they leave. The gesture was so small, but she kind of liked how assertive he was being. There was something very… attractive about it.

She agreed that they could leave and get let out a breath of relief. Still holding her hand he led her away until he felt they were at a safe enough distance to apparate. "Maybe we should get a drink. Leaky Cauldron is probably in chaos... Club Indigo it is" he suggested, only half joking but his voice was still a little tight. He had learned how to be a good dueler, yes, but that didn't mean he was prepared to take down any dragons. He nodded, counted down from three, and apparated out of there with her in tow. He didn't look back at the village and the chaos caused by the Purifiers. He had to keep reminding himself interally that it was his duty to bring wizardkind back into power. It was the right thing to do... Right?
