nice to meet you.
With the roll around of late December, Ares felt a sigh of relief escaping his lips. Hogs Head was starting to finally see a lot of previous patrons again. Days prior from the twenty-third, he was sure the wizarding school he used to attend sent their students for a Winter break and most magical jobs had sent their dedicated employees home to enjoy the luxuries of Christmas with their families. It meant nothing for Ares in the long run though considering this just meant business began.
When he first entered at one on the dot for his shift, his eyes glanced across the many different faces. Some new, some old. The Professors for instance, they always cooped by the corner table of the bar. Those who seemed to have rather...extravagant jobs scattered themselves all over the place, some with the rather loud mouths describing their roles that Ares knew it most definitely wasn't allowed. But he loved his job. He always learned new secrets one way or another, from his boss or even the patrons themselves. The people that Ares couldn't understand, the ones he needed to dive in deeper were the ones who rested in the stools by the bar. They were the ones to watch Ares perform his excellent drink making skills - from wandless magic - as well as the ones to usually yell at him first for their dying drink request.
But when Ares took his position behind the bar, an unfamiliar face was sat in the center of it all. She was...pretty. Innocent face, dark hair and tanned skin, he couldn't help but grin in her direction. Who was she? He felt like a creep. The Lestrange tied his apron around him and walked up to area in front of where she sat. "And what can I get for you?" He questioned.
