Feb. 15th Andy and Vik were at Club Indigo dancing their little hearts out. They may have been a little inebriated, but not enough to alter their perceptions or anything. They danced close together - close enough at some points that you couldn't even fit a book between them. Andy liked being close to him, obviously, even if they had been basically inseparable for the past two months. She wasn't getting sick of it. Yet. Somewhere during the last song Vik had taken her hand and pulled her aside, into one of the private booths and closed the curtain around them. Andy leaned back against the table cocking her head to one side. "Aren't we bossy? I thought that was my gig."@vik

This. Was. Fabulous. Dancing with Andy in Club Indigo, Vik was seriously happier than he'd been in a long time. He was always happy when he was with her. Andy was different. She was determined and serious, but there was also a somewhat lighter side to her that he always tried to bring out when they were together. She pulled him in, which was something Vik never really wanted before, but with her it just worked.
However, he didn't want to be in public for long. They never stayed around other people too long when they were together, so it wasn't anything new. Once they were alone, Vik smirked at her teasing, "I'm pretty sure we take turns with it, you know," he commented, stepping closer to her. "Though I can let you have a turn if you'd like."

Vik said they could take turns, but offered for her to have one. She shook her head, "no, no. I like when you take charge. It's kind of like the French revolution. You know, where they were all brave but died anyway. But at least they were hott," she smirked at that. She grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him in for a kiss.
Once she broke it off she pouted, holding onto the front of his shirt with both hands, "it's getting late. I'm sick of going all the way back to my place in the morning to grab work clothes. Apparation or not," she sighed. In reality, it really wasn't that difficult. "Kind of wish I didn't have to go into work at all, you know?" Andy loved work, but the truth was she was obsessed, on a high, losing her balance to Vik.
And definitely a little foolish.

Vik wasn't surprised at all when Andy started shaking her head at him, though he shot a glare when she spoke. Was she calling him a wimp? Or comparing him to the French? Rude! And then she was saying he wasn't hot. He opened his mouth to retort, but before he could say anything she pulled him in for a kiss and Vik returned it.
He wasn't ready to be done kissing her when she pulled away, but he paused for a moment when she started talking. His eyes widened slightly and he lifted a hand to push a lock of her hair behind her ear. "Well, you don't have to go back to your place ..." he suggested, almost positive he knew what she wanted. "You could just ... move in. If you want." Vik watched her for a second, but then he couldn't resist and leaned in to kiss her again. He smiled against her lips, "And then we could always call in sick sometimes," he muttered. He wouldn't mind doing something like that, not in the slightest.

His facial expression when she compared him to the revolution were priceless, but not nearly as satisfying as that hunger in his eyes whenever she broke off a kiss. When he spoke again, playing with her hair, she felt her heart stop beating for a moment.
In a split second she saw the other version of her life. The version where she got to keep Phil, where they moved in together, got married, moved to Africa to start his little hospital, had kids. But that was all fake. That wasn't who she was. Andy wasn't a house wife. And Vik... He'd never expect her to be one.
He kissed he again, speaking against her lips about calling in sick. She smiled against his lips too, nodding slowly and first and then more as she kissed him I'm between her words. "I'm," a kiss, "all another, "yours." She kissed him again, this time pulling him so close she had to sit up onto the table.
Then she broke it off, leaning back to look at him. "When? I should give Susan a few days... Next week? Five days?"

That little smile on her face made it all worth it. Vik wasn't normally one who was interested in sharing his personal space, but he found that he didn't mind the idea of sharing it with Andy. Sure, she didn't know about his real job, or how he grew up ... okay so she actually didn't know much about him at all, but that was fine. They'd work it out somehow. He just wanted to be with her. All the time.
She answered him, her kisses growing more fierce as she did so and Vik smiled against her lips. He liked the idea of her being all his. Not that he thought it meant forever or anything, but he definitely liked it.
When she pulled away, asking when she should move in, Vik shook his head. "Tomorrow." His answer was almost a question, but at the same time it wasn't. Why did she need to give her friend a few days? She spent most of her time with Vik anyway, so what was the point? "Or as soon as you want," he amended, not wanting to made Andy feel rushed or anything. He just didn't want her to leave. He exhaled and leaned closer, kissing her neck gently so she could talk if she still wanted to.

He suggested tomorrow, or as soon as she wanted. "Three days," she answered, craning her head to the side to give him easier access to her neck. She giggled, wrapping her arms around his shoulders. She was happy, or so she thought. The sickening feeling at the pit of her stomach could be ignored. She didn't need anything other than this, right? Maybe, finally, she would be satisfied with her life. Maybe. --time jump: three days later-- Andy stood outside Viks apartment building, bags in hand. There was a small spattering of blood across her pale blue dress. She had forgotten about it for a moment, but quickly whipped her wand out and wiped it clean before going into the apartment building and knocking on his door. @vik one shot

Vik scrunched his nose when Andy insisted on waiting three days, but he wasn’t going to argue with her. He wanted to be with Andy, in whatever way she would allow. Three days was better than a week. “Okay,” he muttered, kissing her neck softly. “Three days.” It felt like that would be right, like they’d be able to enjoy it and be even closer than they already were. Eventually he’d tell her his secrets. Not yet though.
--- time jump ---
Vik heard a knock on his door and jumped to his feet. It had to be Andy. He was waiting for her. He opened the door quickly, grinning at her. “There you are. I thought maybe you’d changed your mind,” he teased her lightly. “Want me to take one of those for you?” He offered, reaching a hand out to take a bag. “Come on in,” he invited her with an easy smile. It was a little weird to think this was actually happening.

He opened the door, saying he thought she may have changed her mind. He held out a hand for her bag, and she handed one of them to him. "No, I didn't change my mind. Though I nearly left all this crap behind, It would almost be easier to start anew," she joked. It really was just clothes and some personal items she had brought with her. It's not like she brought any furniture or anything.
She stepped into the apartment, setting her bag down and looking around. She had been there before of course but it had a new feeling to it now that she was going to be living there. She turned to him and smiled, "well, is there a drawer for my clothes? Maybe a shelf to put some of my books?" But she didn't make any move to unpack, she just stepped forward and wrapped her arms around his waist.

Vik chuckled at Andy's words, taking the bag that she offered him without a word. Was this really actually happening? It felt sort of surreal. "Yeah, I get that. Sometimes starting new is good though." He'd done it before, like when he disappeared after graduation, not telling a soul where he was going or what he was doing. That was a different situation though
She stopped almost directly inside the door, asking where she could put her clothes and books. Vik smiled back at her. "You can have as many drawers or shelves as you want," he told her, pulling her closer. Who cared if he had to buy another dresser? Or put an extension charm on the drawers that were his. It would be worth it, having her so near. He leaned down and kissed her gently, lingeringly. "I'm glad you're here," he muttered against her lips.

He said that sometimes starting anew was good though, and he didn't know how right he was. Andy's mind rushed over all the things in her life that Vik hadn't been a part of, and how looking at him was like opening a window to an entirely new world. Somewhere she hadn't been before, that didn't know her past, that didn't remind her of everything she had left behind. He was like a breath of fresh air and, for the first time, she realized that's what she wanted. Yes, she was here to move in. She was here because she liked him. She was here because he was awesome. But she never really realized, not until he said those words, that she really did want this. That she did want to start over.
He said she could have as many drawers and shelves as she wanted, pulling her closer. She let him, her arms around his waist still. She lifted slightly on her tiptoes as he kissed her, saying he was glad she was here. "So am I," she answered honestly, her throat choking up a little at the words. She didn't want to freak him out, though, so she kissed him again so that she could stop talking. She took a hand off his waist to move up his chest again, until she could clasp the back of his neck. She broke the kiss when she needed air, bending her head down so her forehead pressed against his lips instead.

Andy just watched him for a moment, but Vik didn't mind. She was here. She was moving in, which was different. It was something he never predicted wanting, ever. Vik was a private person. He liked having his space and doing what he wanted when he wanted, but there was something about Andy that made him want to change all that. He wanted her to be involved, even though he might be a little nervous about how much he wanted that.
Vik was glad that she was happy to be here. Good. At least she wasn't freaking out. It was a good sign, right? A good start. She kissed him hard and Vik returned her kiss, holding her close even when she pulled away. She was still leaning close. He kissed her forehead, closing his eyes as he held her close. "Do you want help moving things?" Vik asked softly, not moving to release her.

He asked if she wanted help moving things, his voice soft. She found herself biting down on her lip, her eyes started to swell up with tears. She shook her head, not saying anything. In that sudden moment she felt a rush of emotions, ones that she wasn't expecting. She felt relief, release, and some kind of escape. She tightened her grip around him, moving her head to burrow it into his chest instead. After a moment she cleared her throat, pulling back. "Okay, okay. Let's do this," she said, wiping her eyes once before turning straight to her bags and getting stuff out. ---Time Jump, March 1st--- Andy stumbled in the door, slamming it shut and flattening her back against it. She was out of breath, and looked down at her (once again) blood stained hands. Then she remembered she didn't live alone, looking up in a search for Vik. She didn't see him right away, and rushed to the sink to start washing her hands vigorously. She heard a noise down the hall and spoke up, "hey honey, I'm home from work!" she called. She looked up at the plant on the windowsill above the sink where Richard, the bowtruckle, was taking a little nap. She smiled at him, the red almost clear in the sink. @vik (skipping ahead so we can get to the awkward part and then the good part :,D)

The last thing Vik was expecting in that moment was for Andy to pull him close, hugging him tightly. He wasn't quite sure if something was wrong, or what was going on with her, but he held her back tightly, hoping to reassure her in whatever way he could. He just wanted her to know he was there for her. He kissed her hair, releasing her the second the started to pull back, moving to help her with her bags. There was no way he was going to leave her to move everything on her own. Especially since he now realized she was crying before. --- --- --- Vik heard the door slam and jumped a little. He was trying to figure out the value of something he stole earlier today and honestly hadn't expected Andy to be back for a while longer. He quickly turned around, unlocking a cabinet with a flick of his wand, placing the jewelry box inside and locking it back up again. He walked out of the room, headed to where he heard Andy. He laughed at her words. "Sure sounds like it." He found her in the kitchen, washing her hands. Vik leaned up against the wall, smiling at her. "So, how was work?" he asked, walking up behind Andy to wrap his arms around her waist as he bent down to kiss her neck. It was always better being home when she was there. @lestrange

He said it sure sounded like she was home, and she narrowed her eyes at him. "Are you saying I'm loud?" she questioned. He came up behind her, asking how work was as he kissed her neck. "Good," she sighed. She wanted to enjoy it but the last bits of red were still running down the drain, so she quickly cleared her throat and pushed back against him, away from the sink. She then spun around to face him, "it was fine. Didn't kill anyone today," she suggested. At least not while at work.
