This guy was fun to talk to. Mazie was definitely enjoying herself, feeling proud when she got him to agree not to be bitter when he lost. She expected him to tease back, but he just agreed. Huh, that was interesting. She listened, rolling her eyes just a bit when he said that he thought Quidditch was fun. That's because he never played Quadpot. How could Quidditch be exciting when nothing was exploding? She froze at his idea though, then smirked. "You'd really want to learn Quadpot? Or are you just trying to make me more interested in Quidditch?" she teased before nodding. "I'm game, though, even though I highly doubt you'll change my mind." She was pretty confident at her flying abilities, especially when it came to a game where nothing exploded. Should be easy. She nodded as he explained a little bit about the floor they were on. "Okay, so I've heard that the staircases move. Do they take you anywhere in the castle or do they normally just go to specific places?" she asked curiously. Might as well ask someone who knew. This could be important to figuring out the school.

Sav shrugged, “I think I’d like to learn it. I like most sports and games, so any sort of game that I get to use physical talent or strength in, I’ll probably enjoy.” he admitted. He knew he could have learned Quadpot at the beginning of the year when the students came and he started to get to know them, but he didn’t really have any reason to want to then, there wasn’t anyone he was trying to impress with it. He wasn’t entirely trying to impress Mazie now, but he wouldn’t mind getting to know a pretty girl a bit more. “Well not all the staircases move, but if you’re on some of the ones that do, they usually go between a few places, and if you wait a few minutes they’ll move back.” he explained. “Some of them move on timed schedules that you can figure out, some move whenever they want to, or if you make them mad.” he had heard from students who had spilled drinks or food on them and they got upset and moved because of it. He had no way of knowing if it was true or not. They couldn’t make decisions and feel things, could they?

Mazie was definitely interested when Sav admitted that he thought he'd like to learn more about Quadpot. Well good! It was such a fun game, definitely better than Quidditch could be ... though maybe she'd warm up to the game eventually. If she did, it would probably be because she just wanted to get into a competitive game in the air again. She already knew she was going to miss her sport a lot. "Well, if you want to learn, I am definitely the girl to teach you," Mazie answered with a wink. "You just let me know when you're not busy and we'll figure it out." She definitely wouldn't mind spending time with the handsome guy. He was fun to be around. He started to explain a bit about the staircases and Mazie listened with interest. Okay, these staircases were definitely cool. She laughed when he said that sometimes the staircases would move if you made them mad. "Okay okay, I'll bite. How do you make a staircase mad?" Mazie asked, still giggling.

“Then it’s a date.” Sav agreed when mazie said that she was the girl to teach him if he wanted to learn. He didn’t see himself liking the sport more than he loved Quidditch, but it could be something else to do to work his body and gain more and different skill sets. He was down to at least try it out. She asked how to make a staircase mad and Sav laughed, unable to help himself actually. He was in way over his head with this. He shrugged. “I don’t know. I can safely say I’ve never made a staircase mad. But I assume by just being rude to them? Kicking them on purpose or spilling something hot or sticky.” he suggested.

Mazie grinned and nodded when Sav said that it was a date. She was definitely okay with that. Sav was fun and athletic. He'd probably do very good at Quadpot if he actually got the chance. "Okay, I'll write you when I find a good time ... or just try to run into you at dinner or something," Mazie told him with a wink. She was definitely looking forward to spending more time with him. Sav was fun. She laughed when he started to make up things one could possibly to do make stairs mad. "I guess that makes sense," she said amidst her giggles. "I will try hard not to do any of those things ... unless I want to get trapped on the stairs with someone." Yeah right, but that was a funny idea.

“I’ll await your owl.” He smirked back at her when she said she’d write him when it was time. They were in the same house and he was sure they’d end up bumping into each other often enough, even for being different years. Sav would keep his eye out for her, that was for sure. “or trap someone on the stairs.” Sav suggested with a wiggle of his eyebrows. He wasn’t sure that would even work. But he had no way or knowing. Maybe Hugo would help him test the theory.

Mazie giggled when he said that he'd await her owl. She doubted that would be the case, but he was definitely a fun guy to talk to and Mazie would definitely remember that. "I won't keep you waiting long ... probably," she teased. Her jaw dropped at her suggestion and then Mazie laughed again. If she did happen to make any enemies or get upset at anyone here at Hogwarts, that would be an interesting way to get her revenge. They probably wouldn't even know she was doing it either. He led her all the way up to the Gryffindor Common Room, giving Mazie tips and pointers as they went and she was glad to have met him today. Sav was one of those people she'd remember and look for in the future.
