"You ruined everything."
Priscilla laughed. She hadn't had a say in it, after all; it was all on her parents and Riley's parents. She couldn't help it that she was engaged to Riley Fudge. It was just the way that things had worked out for her, though she didn't mind that she had gotten betrothed to one of the most attractive boys at Hogwarts. If Kinsey was going to be angry with anyone, it was really her parents'—and not her own—fault, thought Priscilla.
Really, it was stupid. Someone like Kinsey should have known that dating someone like Riley Fudge was bad news. She should have known better than to chase after someone who would never be able to be with her the way that she wanted. He was a pure-blood and knew better than to do something idiotic like become a blood traitor. Riley knew the rules and boundaries, and Kinsey very plainly did not.
Again, it wasn't her fault; Priscilla—in her own view—was the one who was being nice here, when she had every reason not to be: She was the one who had dealt with a dirty half-blood desperate to break up her relationship with her fiancé for months.
"Asking me to help you with your makeup is not helping the less fortunate, it's helping yourself. I don't want your help with anything but to leave me alone."
With that, Kinsey left. Priscilla, meanwhile, just shrugged. It was her loss.
@kinsey
Fin.
