Feb. 17, 2025 Hugo coming to the Quidditch Pitch wasn't really a normal sight. Sure, like most Weasleys he enjoyed Quidditch, but he wasn't really a player. It kind of took the fun out of it when every time you bumped into an opponent you saw them die. Still, Hugo liked flying. It was a good way for him to clear his mind and relax a bit, which was always fun. He hadn't planned on flying when he came outside today, but when he saw the Pitch didn't have anyone in it, he couldn't resist. Hugo got onto an extra broom from the closet, flying around at top speeds. Oh, it was so much easier for him to forget all the pressure and stress he was under right now. At least he didn't have to deal Head Boy duties when he was up here. No one would think to find him here. After a bit, he had the feeling like someone was watching him. He opened his eyes and saw a figure approaching. Hugo hesitated. Did he want to stop what he was doing to talk to them? Not really .... Ginevra Molly Potter

Ginny didn't have a class to teach; however, there was a class of first years coming a little bit later. Now that there was a flying professor at Hogwarts, it felt like she was suffocating. How long had they gone without one? She wasn't sure, but McGonagal had been extremely happy when she had written to her saying that she would take the job, a few years in the making. She enjoyed teaching; she just hated the grading bit. Luckily, she didn't have to grade much.
But she did miss the school and the Pitch itself, as soon as she was able to, she tried out for her team and flew high and proudly. Something that carried over to her professional career until she had James, something she barely remembered. But what she did remember...the feeling of being on a broom. It was like that muggle saying that her father had loved, "It's like riding a bike...you never really forget."
She had her broom when she started walking into the Pitch and noticed someone else was there, flying around. From the looks of it, they were a student. She tried to make out who they were; they were pretty well versed in the art of flying. And with that, she hopped onto her broom and took off after them in a quick speed, appearing above them in a hover.
"Oh–Hugo...I didn't know you enjoyed flying..." she breathed out, a little shocked to see her nephew flying. His father had been apart of the team in his sixth year when Ginny was there, and his mother was never part of it. Must get it from the Weasley side...

Hugo decided to just keep on flying and not really pay attention to whoever was approaching. He didn't need to talk to them, right? If they wanted to fly, they could. And if a team was coming to practice, Hugo could leave. It wasn't a big deal. So he pretended like he didn't notice them. At least, he did until the person spoke, talking to him. He knew that voice. Hugo turned and smiled when he realized it was Aunt Ginny. "Hey Aunt Ginny," he greeted, flying down to meet her. It was the least he could do, be respectful to his aunt. Never mind the fact that his mom would kill him if he wasn't respectful to her. He liked Aunt Ginny. Ginevra Molly Potter

The moment that Hugo realized it was Ginny that had arrived in the Quidditch pitch, he flew to meet her. She smiled at him, her broom floating in the air as he appeared before her. "Hello Hugo. I hope I didn't interrupt something..." she breathed out; she didn't want to impose on his alone time flying around. Ginny used to do so when she wanted to be left alone and think, especially after fighting with past boyfriends. It was either flying or crying...sometimes the latter was more accessible.

Hugo shook his head when his aunt approached. "Naw, I was just flying around. Needed a bit of fresh air, and the pitch is always a good place for that." Even though Hugo wasn't on the team, he still had a broom and he liked flying. "How are you doing? Anything in particular that brought you here today?" He wasn't exactly sure why Aunt Ginny would be coming here, unless she just missed flying around. Since she spent her days teaching flying though, that didn't seem too likely. Ginevra Molly Potter
