Ambrosia paced, deep in thought. She'd just returned from the Hong family's vault, where records were kept. In particular, Ambrosia had been in the Hall of Memories, where the memories of all notable Hong's was kept. She'd spent hours there, pouring memories into the pensive, watching and rewatching her ancestors' memories, then returning them to their vial only to repeat the process. This wasn't for fun though, she was searching for something. The answer to her mistake, the answer to what she was doing wrong. She wasn't alone as she paced though, an unconscious man was tied up on the floor, just feet from Ambrosia. 

She stopped pacing and pulled her wand out. Ambrosia twirled it between her fingers as she turned back towards the man, no sympathy on her face. In fact, she looked at him much like you could a cockroach, far beneath her. This wasn't the first time he'd been brought in front of her in the past few days. This wouldn't be the last time either, but maybe this time she'd see some progress. But what sort of progress was Ambrosia trying to achieve?

Ambrosia pointed her wand at the man. "Legilimens."

The flood of memories was familiar, but it was only the starting point of what Ambrosia wanted. She dug deeper. She wasn't looking for a memory, no she was trying to find something else, something more. Navigating the mind was complicated and dangerous for those not trained in the art, even more so for what Ambrosia was attempting. She wasn't trying to just navigate the mind, unbury it's secrets. No, she was trying to do something that most legilimens deemed impossible. She was trying to change the mind. It was a something that only a rare few in the Hong's had ever achieved. Ambrosia planned on being one of them. 

Following the guidance of her ancestors, Ambrosia kept digging, until...

There it was. 

Ambrosia could feel his mind finally begin to crack. It was almost the pages of a book, and someone had given her a pen. The freedom to rewrite.... whatever she wanted.
