March 7, 2025 Finley's heart was snapped in two. No, more than two. The pieces were so small he probably wouldn't be able to locate them even if he tried. He sat at the bar, like he always did, but this time he was chugging drink after drink after drink. He had stopped telling the bartender what drinks he wanted and just keep drinking whatever was put in front of him. Most bars had a drink limit, but if Club Indigo did they wouldn't dare enforce that on Finley O'Niell. No, he could kill them for that. Maybe not all of them at once, but he could. @rivune (short but come on in the water is... not great XD)

He barely registered who it was when his dear friend spoke and slid into the stool next to him. But, finally, after a second he groggily looked over at her, his eyelids half open. "Deal," he said gruffly. He tried for a little smile, because he truly was happy to see Trixie. It was just hard to smile about anything. Sure, maybe it was pathetic to be this strung out on a girl, but he had been hung up over her basically since he was 13 years old, so how would that change now? Especially since they dated, fell in love and now... Either way, he wasn't ready to let go of his sadness just yet.
He set up a little bit straighter, and lifted his empty glass to show the bartender that he was out again. Hd turned back to Trixie, and his eyebrows furrowed. "What's with the hair?" He asked. He had barely ever seen her hair the same color two visits in a row.

Braille. Oh, yes. He had forgotten. He grimaced, "sorry, Trix," he said quietly. He was in a bad place, sure, but he didn't think he needed to take that out on one of his only friends. "I'd offer to help you change it, but I'd probably turn your skin orange or something..." it was an attempt at a joke, but he did really wish he could help. She ordered a drink for him and he lifted a hand lazily to give her a thumbs up. "I don't black out," he promised. Maybe tonight would be the first time... She said she was there to ask him questions, that she needed advice. Fin tried to straighten up a little, he wanted to be there for her if he could. But when she mentioned a guy he literally groaned, banging his head on the bar. Then he sat up again, shaking his head. "Tell me, tell me. I'll try not to let my bitterness ruin my take."@rivune
