The weekend was something everyone craved. No more early mornings, no exceedingly long lectures where you’d lose focus on the whomping willow and watch it shake it’s branches instead of listening to the professor drole on. It was time to enjoy the long lie ins, the gorgeous and temperamental British weather and being surrounded by your friends, fawning over the cutest boy in your year. Friday evenings were the most excitable evening during the week. Curfew was extended slightly so everyone could have enough time to calm down before they had to be due in bed, or some students would simply start enjoying their weekend now. It was truly a wonderful time, it was unlikely anyone could ruin another's Friday evening.
While everyone else was enjoying their evening by gossiping, Eibhleann had no desire to join in on such pathetic activities. The Irish beauty had made her way to the edge of The Black Lake and intended to spend her evening alone. Even though she had friends, it had been a rather stressful week for the brunette and she merely wanted to indulge in some personal space. The Gryffindor had spread out her robe across the ground before she dumped her bag down lazily and sat down on her robes. Even though it was late afternoon, the sun was beginning to set in the distance.
It was a beautiful view. The colours of red, orange and yellow danced lightly on the lakes surface and Eibhleann smiled to herself. This is what she desired this evening, peace and quiet away from the easily excitable students in the castle. It was unlikely for her to stay here very long, most likely an hour or two. She just needed to unwind slightly before she made her way back to the Gryffindor Tower.

March 1st, 2025 Lydia was indeed with her friends gossiping. That was just the way she lived her life and she loved every second of it. Lydia knew everything about everything, or at least tried to. Eibhleann Finnigan however... remained allusive. She didn't really care about the girl, especially since she was a Gryffindor. Not that Lydia hated the house, per say, but she didn't really care for the recklessness that they embodied. Eibhleann always seemed... not as much that way to her, but Lydia didn't have much to compare it too. Still, when the girl appeared at the lake, sitting within view of Lydia and her friends, Lydia got up. No day like a weekend to investigate someone, right? She made her way over there, walking along the edge of the lake, pretending that she wasn't purposefully about to pass the girl. As she started to walk by, she stopped, looking over at Eibhleann. "Lose your crowd?" Lydia asked, eyebrow raising. @finnigan

The sound of the water gently lapping against the edge soothed her racing thoughts and she let out a happy sigh. Being able to wind down for a while would definitely save someone from Eibhleann’s outbursts. The young brunette wasn’t an angry person but lately she had grown tired of the usual teenage drama, she didn’t want to have anything to do with it. Eibhleann was quite happy being left out of the drama, so when others began to gossip she simply separated herself to avoid getting involved. The young gryffindor had enough on her plate with studying and training to get involved with mind numbing gossip.
A voice interrupted her thoughts and she glanced up with a frown planted on her face, who on earth was disturbing her? Once her eyes locked with the female stood in front of her she smirked. Lydia Fudge. Everyone else always fawned over how nice she was but something about it threw Eibhleann off. Her facial expression changed as she looked back out to the lake, there goes her peace. “I don’t need a crowd, unlike some..” The Irish accent rolled easily of her tongue, it was supposed to be a sarcastic reply but with her accent, it was hard to know if Lydia would understand it.
