On December 28th, several rampaging dragons have fallen upon Hogmseade and are causing quite the ruckus!

Nothing wrong with a little competition, is there? The annual snowball fight takes place on the first day of festivities, and is open to all who wish to participate!

Everyone loves to go ice skating in winter. Magically enchanted, the ice rink is a fantastic winter wonderland, and a great activity for witches and wizards of all ages.

One of the many temporary shops set up in Hogsmeade, selling hand crafted and enchanted holiday ornaments and decorations.

Set up at the edge of town, the Ferris wheel is great fun for those that just want to relax and enjoy. The Ferris wheel is so tall that you can get some spectacular views of the Forbidden forest, Hogwarts, and the Dark Lake.

No winter season is complete without food. Bratwursts, pretzels, crepes, and cinnamon buns are just a few options. But, there is one thing that you can't go without at least trying. The Roasted Knut's famed roasted almonds, so famed in fact that people from around the world will come just to get a few.

After a day of festivities nothing is better than a warm drink to warm you up. From generic favorites, like FIrewhisky and Butterbeer, to Eggnog, and hot apple cider, the Steaming Stout is a local favorite.

Winter is never complete without a horse drawn carriage ride. Run by the Fletwock family, renowned for their winged horses, these magical carriage rides will soar through the skies, revealing some of the most breathtaking views of the winter landscape.
