A lakeside town, the magical community commonly known as Lake Memphremagog is almost neighbors the muggle community of Magog, utilizing the muggle tourism as a guise to hide themselves. Many of the magical children here, whether witch, wizard, demi-human, or general outcasts, attend school with their muggle counterparts and are taught magic by their parents and community leaders. The actual Lake Memphremagog is home to Memphre, which the muggles think is a similar creature to Nessie, in Loch Ness. Memphre, like Nessie, is actually one of the many kelpies that reside in the lake, one of the reasons a magical community is situated nearby.
