Spring 2016
Savannah was getting closer and closer with Leo. He was ... so appealing to her. Honestly, she couldn't describe her pull to be with him and impress him, but it was there and it was deep. Maybe a part of it was that he accepted her and seemed interested in her. At least, he was interested when she surprised him. She loved seeing the mischievous grin on his face when he suggested something and she agreed. She liked how he'd taken her under his wing and was teaching her, spending more and more time with her every day. Maybe someday ... someday he might see her as more than just a partner in crime. At least, that was definitely what Savannah hoped for. Yesterday they pulled off their first big heist. It was invigorating! Savannah wasn't sure she could remember a time when she'd felt so alive and energized. Part of it was what they accomplished and the adrenaline from getting away. They'd robbed a high profile muggle bank. She'd gone along with his plan exactly, and after they got away they'd celebrated. He was worth it. He was worth her doing things she'd never thought she would do. Today she decided to take a walk. She'd gone to one of her favorite parks, laying on a bench and looking up at the sky. This was who she was going to be. So she could be with Leo. @alyra

While Lee had no business in muggle affairs, and didn’t plan to make it her business, she couldn’t help but have that sinking feeling in her gut when she heard about it. It felt too close to home and she didn’t like the assumptions she was making. She had warned Savannah to stay away from that man. She knew he was no good and she couldn’t shake the feeling that he was behind the bank robbery that she heard about at work that morning. While they didn’t tamper in muggle affairs, they did keep up to date on them in case they became their problem sooner or later. She only hoped the second suspect didn’t happen to be her best friend.
As she passed by a park in New York on her lunch break from the MACUSA, she spotted the familiar head of blonde hair lounging on a bench in one of the many parks nearby. With her coffee still in her hand, she walked up to the woman, anger fought joy inside her head. “Savannah?” she asked.

Savannah looked up when she heard the familiar voice nearby. Lee? She hadn’t seen her friend in ages. A big smile crossed her face. “Lee! How are you doing?” She greeted warmly, rising to go and give her friend a tight hug. Lee was one of the last people she expected to see here. Honestly, she thought her friend was still in California. “What are you doing in New York?” She asked curiously. She had no reason to believe that Lee would suspect her for any misdeeds, so she wasn’t even thinking about that. “How are your parents? Your sister?” She did miss them. Lee’s family had been a second family to her, the people who cared for her when her adoptive family clearly didn’t. @alyra
