It had been some time since their last check-in for the organization. That was how these things tended to go, when one became bogged down in the day-to-day and their own affairs. Cas had spent the last month prioritizing a secret mission that had stayed largely independent of the rest of the organization. His part was done, however, which meant he was now able to check-in with Parvati and her side of things – something that hadn’t been done for months now. A lot had changed since then. Their typical meeting place had long since become Parvati’s home in Hogsmeade. It was more private than other potential meeting spots, and it had become something of a tradition at this point to prepare tea or coffee and review the organization’s needs. It was mostly the two of them, as Parvati was the most bearable of the other leaders. This time, however, there was a new addition, another longtime Order member who hadn’t left with Heliopath. Cas didn’t often make exceptions to his decisions. He was willing to allow it this one time for Cade. “The Poisoned Spindle has been operating smoothly,” Cas commented as he sipped on his coffee (Parvati always accommodated his distaste for tea). He shook his head slightly as he considered the apothecary he had spent months establishing. “It gets a fair bit of clients too.” It was an easy topic to begin with, if not the real reason they were meeting today. Cas was more interested to receive news on the media dimensions that Parvati and Cade typically handled. parvati patil macmillan cade owen woodward

And here we are Half past three in the morning Cade sipped his tea as he listened to Cas speak. Although his regular habit was to communicate with Parvati alone, she had invited him to tea this time. The Prophet was active at the moment, but Cade was able to take some time for a short break. Despite all his time knowing Parvati, his time interacting with Cas had been short and to the point on those occasions. He appreciated the man's strength in being direct, and not wasting time. Just business, as far as he knew. The read that Cade got from him was that of a non-nonsense person. "That's good to hear." While Cade was not involved in the regular operations of the safe houses and other details he still liked to be informed. Perhaps just the habit of his current occupation, one could know the entire account without knowing all sides. "The Prophet is swamped with the usual December stories." He wished he had more to report, but it took time to gather information and talk to all his reporters without seeming suspicious.
