Bhelliom was annoyed. He'd been working around the clock and hadn't had much time lately for other kind of exploits. Not that they were very much required but well.... he did enjoy them a lot. He had heard about another half veela that had also graduated from Durmstrang in passing and if rumour had it she worked as a dancer at club indigo. He remembered Maria from school, although she hadn't been like him and Sapphire-Rose at all. She'd been an adorable little girl but he'd been long gone before she'd grown out of that. Not that he knew, since he hadn't really bothered to keep in touch with... anybody.
So he took one of the prime seats, managing to worm the previous occupant out with a few choice lies and deceptions. He had long since noticed the club wasn't exactly territory for sweet innocent girls so it made him rather curious about how Maria had developed after he'd left. He didn't know why, but he was almost worried the innocent girl would be gone. Time corrupted all and he didn't want to see her get hurt in the same way his sister had been. It wasn't as if she'd been any kind of weak after all. She'd be a powerful lady, but she'd made mistakes. Well, the person that had mistreated her couldn't do so again. What a little accident couldn't do to improve the world, right?
So he waited for the show to start and to see what kind of woman Maria had grown up to be. He was mostly curious but his face was stoic as his trademark mismatched eyes had an intent look about him. He had no mind to be disturbed, although he could feel plenty of eyes on him already. He was the kind of man to attract attention, very much like his father. To him his eyes were his biggest blessing. They caught people off guard which allowed the veela magic to work even better. They lost part of their defences. Not to mention his hobby as a blacksmith kept him strong and in prime physique state. He wondered if she'd recognise him rather briefly as she entered the main area to steal the show. No doubt she was good at it with her blood. Veela always seem to be good at attracting attention and spreading beauty somehow.

November 10, 2025 @bhelliom
Maria liked all the attention her job brought but sometimes? Sometimes she just got soooooo bored. Bored with everything she'd already had. Bored with all the regular people. Bored just how mundane everyone seemed. Bored with just anyone's attention. And to make matters worse, Rhys, who she usually turned to when this level of boredom hit, hadn't been responding to her texts. Whatever. Who cared. While it was definitely frustrating in her current state, she didn't need him to entertain herself. He was just a very good distraction. And all she needed to do was find a better one.
The Club was always one of the best places to find such distractions. Most the time, these finds were plots. Just a one time thing that didn't last. But on the rare occasion she found someone worth keeping a little while. And considering her job basically paid her to socialize and find these types of people? Well, it suited her appetite quite well.
Tonight was a particularly slow night. But she didn't mind too much. It meant that she could pay extra attention to anyone that caught her interest. Tonight she'd already heard an interest rumor. A very handsome stranger, with mix matched eyes and a strong allure. The allure and looks sounded like another part Veela to her. Though the mix matched eyes was quite... interesting. She'd met a half Veela once that had mix matched eyes. Back whe nseh was at Durmstrang, several years her senior. Just the thought of him made her swoon a little. Ah, Bhelliom Arnarson. Now that had been a catch, one that had slipped away. She'd been young when he graduated, and it was before her "sleeping around" days, so she'd never actually had anything with him. But boy, he'd been handsome. She'd admit, she'd had a bit of a crush on him when seh was thirteen. It couldn't be him though, unfortunately. There was simply no way she'd run into her old childhood crush at a night club in London.
So, she lounged as she finished her break. Sipping on a fruity but strong alcoholic drink. She finished the drink, and thus ensuring she had a nice, strong buzz, before rolling to her feet. She checked herself in the mirror, making sure that her outfit, hair and makeup looked perfect, before stepping out of the break room. The moment she approached the stage she felt the silence and awe of the crowd. Maria never held back her Veela charm when she was dancing. In fact, she intentionally tried to make it even stronger. She moved slowly, meticulously, as her gaze scanned the crowd. Then... Mix matched eyes. Even in the dark crowd she'd never miss him. Because she knew those eyes. That face. It was Bhelliom. God, had he gotten better looking in the last few years? Most definitely.
There was a momentary pause, a hesitation, as she processed the appearance of her childhood crush.... Then, her usual confidence returned. She didn't know if he recognized her yet. But she didn't care. She'd have some fun. The last time he'd seen her she was a scrawny girl, just starting to fill out and mature. Though the music had already started, she didn't care. She was known for being unpredictable. Slowly she approached where he sat from the stage, her stiletto heels clicking on the hard wood of the stage. She crouched down in front of where he was currently sitting, intentionally in a... seductive way. "You filled out nicely," she teased softly, before straighten, and heading back to the main part of the stage to begin her dance routine. Would that little attention she gave him make people jealous? Oh most definitely. But hey, it was fun.
As she danced she made sure to make eye contact with him. To ensure she had his attention, and also show him that he had hers...

Bhelliom wasn't sure what he was doing in an establishment like this in order to find Maria. He'd understood she worked here and considering her blood it made sense if she were one of the dancers but all in all he had some trouble imagining the girl he'd known in a place like this. So he'd been patient and bided his time as the girls tried to get his attention and the men looked on in envy or poorly concealed attraction. This was all very normal to him and he barely thought twice about it. He knew the magic in his blood and while most often Veela would have female offspring he'd been one of the few men to inherit those traits associated with the blood. It put him quite a long away above the rest of the field in terms of his ability to seduce woman and he never tried to counter it.
So when Maria walked on stage and their eyes met he didn't spare much of a thought to the collective shifting of attention from anybody that had come here for the dancers, nor was he particularly shocked to see she'd matured a lot in the time he hadn't seen her. She was a stunning woman now and the moment of hesitation before her confidence bloomed brought a small smirk to his lips. Oh yes, she knew exactly who he was, even after all this time. He was the kind of person worth remembering, even if they'd never slept together before. She had been too young and honestly? He'd considered her more like a child than a woman. To see the difference several years later would have been shocking, except he'd been aware of her blood and her workplace wasn't where young girls went to work.
She approached slowly in a seductive manner and Bhelliom took the time he had to let his eyes explore everything about her physical form, especially when her body moved in a way that gently guided his eyes. She was beautiful, but two things destroyed the otherwise perfectly good image. For starters, it was the scar. The glaringly obvious scar on her wrist where a most beautiful bracelet dangled. The second part of that was that the bracelet was of his own making and he remembered exactly who had bought it all those years ago. His face didn't show the disgust he felt at seeing how something that was created for the sake of beauty had so horribly disfigured her skin. Why she hadn't had it healed properly was beyond him, although he figured it was sentiment. He knew who had given it to her and he knew the poor kid had died. It was probably not the best way to start off the reunion, especially not when the kind of attention she was giving him was not to be taken for granted. Yet she too was imperfect, like so many others. Such a shame really. She had better odds than most to catch his eye for longer than a moment.
Her compliment made him smile slightly and he chuckled. "As have you, little Maria." He said back with his typical husky tone of voice he reserved for attracting people. She was beautiful and he couldn't deny he found her highly attractive despite her obvious imperfection. He watched with a slight smirk on his lips as she danced, noticing the attention she was giving him in particular and he calmly consumed his drink over the course of her dance, his eyes watching her in what seemed to be mostly mild interest and amusement, but there was enough of it to keep him around. Perhaps if she had some time off he could steal some of it to reacquaint himself with her. She was rather beautiful and he was curious what kind of woman she'd grown up to be. If she was anything like him and his sister there was the possibility of more fun to be had later, but he rather wouldn't count on it. No doubt he'd be able to find somebody else here to fill his evening with in case Maria turned out to be a lot tamer than her dancing suggested.

Maria remembered Bhelliom and his sister's reputation at school. She'd had the same reputation when he got older, though he'd missed those days. And fro meh way he was watching her as she dance she had a strong feeling that those days weren't behind him. Good, they weren't behind her either, and she wouldn't mind reconnected with an old school friend a little. Though the "little" comment had felt like a jab, she'd given him a mischievous smirk, as if to say she wasn't so little anymore.
She made sure to put on quite a good show, using her dancing skills, flexibility, and Veela charm to her advantage. Clearly she was someone very confident in her body, and knew exactly how to work it to get the best results. Though there was one more skill that she had that set her apart from most part Veelas, a skill she'd never found in another part Veela. The song came to a very abrupt stop, and in that final musical note flames erupted from her hands and she dropped the fireballs onto the stage. That particular spot on the stage had been designed for it, so when the flames hit it, it exploded, creating a pillar of flames that almost seemed to engulf her. The flames disappeared... and so had Maria. People had always associated fire with Maria, even in her more innocent days.
As the staff worked about getting ready for the next dancer, Maria sneaked back stage, then out a side door to the main dance floor. She moved gracefully through the crowd, all the way to where Bhelliom was sitting. Only this time she came up behind him, leaning over his shoulder to announce her reappearance. "So what bring Bhelliom Arnarson to this part of town?" She spoke softly, her lips close to his ear, with a wicked smirk on her lips.

Maria had certainly grown up to be very impressive. She was beautiful and had lost her childish shapes to become a truly beautiful young woman, apart from the few details that he definitively hated. She'd been damaged and he knew exactly why. That was something he'd have to consider in the future when building enchantments into his work. Yet for now her performance kept him entertained and enchanted, although not quite as much as the rest of the crowd. He'd been around veela magic his entire life so he was quite used to it. His father, his sister and well, young Maria. He definitively felt that pull now, tempting him much like his own blood tempted other people.
Her powers with the fire only increased the irony of her scars to his mind, but he kept a neutral face for the most part, unable to help a smile at the end of it. She was beautiful and more than capable of putting on a show that would make even the most stubborn minds blush. Not Bhelliom, he didn't blush. He certainly felt the attraction throughout his body though so he was almost disappointed to have seen her disappear. It had just been too dramatic for him to actually feel any sort of real disappointment, figuring it probably wasn't the end of their encounter yet. She'd seen him and definitively given him plenty of attention during her performance.
So as she appeared behind him and asked what brought him to this part of town he smirk slightly as he turned his head ever so slightly. "I heard there was a very alluring dancer in these parts. The kind of performance I simply couldn't miss out. It helped they mentioned you. I was... curious." He said the last word almost as if considered using another word. His body was ever so calm, since he was watching her moves. It was a game of seduction and he certainly was willing to play with her. He wasn't exactly desperate to have her but he definitively had no reason or wish to reject her either. He was just the kind of guy that often let his blood do the work for him, using only the natural charm of his personality to seal the deal with those already interested. He rarely had to do much actual work in terms of chasing people, which had left him with a severe desire not to chase. Dance and seduce? Yes, but if anybody expected him to chase they'd find themselves very disappointed. He sat back in his chair, picking up his drink and taking an almost lazy sip from it. "You look quite beautiful Maria." He said casually, putting the drink back down. "I'm sure I'm currently the envy of many here for having your attention." He said with a smirk as his eyes looked over the room. He'd wait for her to come into his field of vision, as the thrill of waiting certainly gave a certain tension and sense of anticipation to the entire interaction.

Maria didn't move. Many might find her constant invasion of personal space unnerving and annoying, but you didn't come to a night club for personal space. Especially not Bhelliom Arnarson, who'd never seemed to known the definition during his schooling days. His head turned, and she got the slightest glimpse of his eyes at her current angle. Her smirk widened as he explained himself. "Oh really?" She asked slowly. So he'd come looking for her. Interesting. She never would have expected Bhelliom to look her up. While she didn't mind, she'd just been a scrawny teenager last he'd seen. She straightened, pulling away from his ear and glanced down at him, taking a moment to appreciate.. She let a hand lightly trace across the back of his shoulders. "And what could you possibly want with me..?" She asked just as slowly before, though her voice lowered, clear suggestion in her words.
She moved. She slinked around to the front of his chair finally to get another good look at him. He'd gotten a decent enough look from the stage, but now.. well, god he was just as attractive as she remembered. Even more so, since he'd filled out. She look the seat next to him, scooting it closer to him and leaning forward in a way that would give him a very nice view of her cleavage, should he choose. "Well, unfortunately for them, they aren't nearly as interesting or handsome as you are. Who am I to deny the attention of an old friend? Especially when you've come out of your way to see me." Probably a little overexaggerating, but Maria was sugar coating right now. Flattering him. Seeing if she could fluff up that ego of his a bit.

Little Maria had changed a lot over the years. Last he remembered she'd been a scrawny kid that hadn't filled out. She hadn't been half as aware of her body and how to seduce people with it as she was now. The change would have been staggering, if he wasn't aware of how fast those things could go. She'd grown up to a tempting and utterly gorgeous young woman and he certainly felt the charm she carried. It was more than just her blood, although he knew that always factored in. She wielded it like a weapon and didn't try to hide it, which meant she had learned to use her charm and developed skills to enchance her natural abilities. He hated those that blamed everything on the veela blood alone, as the most rude demeanor would undo a lot of the charm their blood brought on. No, she was a siren with or without her heritage.
He smirked and fully enjoyed her touches as she asked what he could possibly want with her. He picked up his glass, taking a calm little sip. He wouldn't fall like the fawning men around them, although he noticed all of them were dying to catch her attention. The attention that currently was on him and that he was fully enjoying having. "One might say I was curious what the scrawny girl I remember was doing in a place like this." He noted with a small but amused smile on his face. "Although there seems to be nothing left of her these days. I've sat watching quite the beautiful young woman and I feel your attention gets me quite a lot of envy from the other patrons." He said, the almost arrogant smirk playing on his lips quite typical. He knew his strengths after all, he'd been playing to them for quite a few years already.
Then finally she moved into his field of vision and he got a proper look up close for the first time. His eyes trailed her shape and curves as she brought the chair closer to him and his gaze was quite intent upon her. He smiled slightly as she mentioned them being old friends. Yes, he supposed that much was true, even if they hadn't really kept in touch that much after he left school. It was probably due to the age difference between them. She'd been so young back then. While the difference was the same in days and years, they were far closer in terms of where their lives were at now, which certainly helped out a lot. He could finally see her as a woman in stead of just a girl. Her words were flattering and held a note of temptation to him. Indeed, she did say quite a few words that made him feel quite a lot more comfortable. He noticed she was certainly trying to seduce him, which did far more for his ego than her sultry words did. "Well perhaps once your shift is over I can walk you home." He suggested with a glint to his eyes and an undertone in his voice that suggested there were many not so innocent thoughts behind that suggestion, should she wish to induldge him in such a manner. "We could... catch up a little. Go over the things we might have missed since last we saw one another." He was obviously hinting at both their physical changes more than anything else. He'd grown more muscular, she certainly had filled out more in terms of curves. Not to mention her attitude had changed quite a bit.
