Luthien didn't need long to get all the things Ri requested and to estimate what would be missing for a complete potion. She wriggled her nose slightly, since this still wasn't her field of expertise. How she was one of the most suitable on the ship for this was still a mystery to her. Her strengths were in chaos and destruction, not healing and rebuilding. She nodded briefly to Ri. "I'll make a list." She said softly, clearly completely off her game in this scenario. She didn't like it.
Both she and Ri clearly wanted to help get the upper hand, but Bjorn wouldn't have that, nor her remarks that simply had been statements of loyalty, in her peculiar little way. She answered his look with a stare that probably wasn't half as intimidated as it should be. "If that is your path, I'd like an unmarked grave." She said calmly with no hint of sarcasm or fear in her voice. She honestly couldn't care less at this point. She'd given him her loyalty but if this was the way he planned to repay her then what point was there to this entire venture? She thought she'd been happy, but she wasn't the type to submit to anybody. She valued her freedom and individuality above her life by an almost painfully long shot. She calmly tore yet another piece of fabric away from Ri's skin, almost longing to feel a couple of hands close around her throat. She felt like she was suffocating under the freedom he told her to give up. No, she'd rather die at his hands than surrender her freedom. As she pulled the last pieces of cloth off she gave Ri a calm look. "Keep calm. Grant them time to heal. I'll make sure the ingredients for the potion get here with the girl." She then got up and walked up to Bjorn, looking him in the eye with a resigned look. "You wanted me to deliver a message?" She said simply, showing no sign of defending herself if he did choose to murder her, since she honestly couldn't be bothered. If this was the end?
So be it.

With some effort, and pain the cloth was separating from his burning flesh, Luthien had also said that she would make a list of what ingredients were missing. Getting them wouldn't be too hard. He gave a small nod at the remark, not wanting to move much.
While now calm and collected, the captain was not in a good mood, it was clear he was out for more than blood. He wouldn't rest with anything short of the traitors heads on spears, a warning to all who dared think the same way these few had acted.
While still wanting to be helpful, it was clear that he was not needed. Bjorn already knew what would happen. Though if he hadn't been injured, the druid knew that he would already be in the skies. He remained silent, while Luthien chose to argue. Closing his eyes he focused on the sensations, letting the pain come, and then move on. The alcohol had also started to help numb some of the sensation. In time, she had finished separating fabric from flesh. That would ensure the healing process go uninterrupted. Once done, the woman left his side. Ri opened his eyes once again, tilting his head up allowing more of the strong liquid to enter his body, some dripping to either side of his face.

February 13, 2026 @cashel, @luthien
Bjorn respected his crews opinions. But it was unwise to try and offer said opinions when he was on the warpath. Bjorn thoughts were terrifyingly clear, despite his rage. He had the teachings of his father and grandfather, who had captained this same ship for many years. You could even say that he'd been raised and bred for these exact moments. When they needed the wrath of a pirate. Though for some, such as Luthien, the absolute unwavering command this wrath brought out wasn't always welcome. Bjorn commanded his ship well, but past people doing their jobs they did as they pleased. In this moment though he needed complete cooperation. Some may consider his actions currently as an almost lack of trust, or an need to be in control. But in reality? It was a sign of total trust. Because he needed things done a certain way. All moving pieces that needed to work in harmony.
The sass was not appreciated, however. Bjorn's eyes narrowed even more. Though, he let her be as she cared for Ri. As she did, he summoned parchment and a pen (because why bother with ink and quills at a time like this?). Pressing the parchment against the wall he started to right his note. Then, he tore the paper in half, folded the half he'd written on, and placed it in his pocket. He then started to write on the second half of the parchment. Likewise folding it when he was done.
Luthien wrapped up what she was doing, and approached him. Looking liked a kicked puppy. He held out the first note to her. "Get that to Casimir." He didn't care if she hand delivered it, or jsut left it somewhere for Cas to find. As long as it reached his old school friend. Then, he pulled out the second note and held it out to her. He lowered his voice, so only she would hear the next words. "Read that when you're off the ship. Tell no one and burn it when you're done." He didn't tell her what was written instead, but there was a look in his eyes.... Clearly he had much better plans for Luthien and the look in his eyes almost seemed to tell her she'd like it.
He stepped away, and started to walk down the corridor. "Have Emanuel watch Ri until you return." Then... He was gone.
(Bjorn out! He's scheming.)
When Luthien did eventually leave the ship and opened the second note he'd handed her, she would find written instructions to a vault, along with the words "Take what you need and find them. Send a patronus when you do.". Bjorn's meaning was clear. He was figuratively letting Luthien "off the leash". Giving her full access to his private vault of magical plunder and unleashing her on his enemies.

Luthien wasn't quite sure what she'd expected from her captain. Anger, perhaps, lashing out maybe. What she hadn't expected was for him to continue as though her attitude hadn't done much. She saw his eyes narrow, but any actions seemed to at least be delayed. She wasn't sure if it was to worry her, so she chose not to focus on it at all. What point was there, after all?
Bjorn gave her instructions that not even Ri would have overheard. She had seen the glint in his eyes and she was stunned for a mere moment. He had seen her for all her strengths and the best and worst of her, and had told her she would enjoy the writing on the paper. She had no idea what that would mean, but considering he saw straight into her soul in that one moment she figured it had to be good. She nodded and slipped the notes into her pocket, looking at his retreating back as she pondered the situation for half a second. Then she walked back over to Ri. "Rest." She commanded him. "Expect nothing to be what it seems. I suspect a traitor might still be here. I'll try to see if your girlfriend will come but if she doesn't... Change the bandages every day, take a lot of healing tonics and if anything looks like it might start to infect, pull of the skin and poor alcohol on it. 70% or whatever is closest. Stronger than that won't work half as well. Do that for at least several days after the infection seems cleared to be on the safe side and no matter what you do, don't fly before all the wounds close up. Keep them clean and rest." She spoke intently and with an unsual intensity and distraction in her eyes. "I think it's party time...." She muttered before walking out, almost as if in a daze.
It didn't take her long to get the broom and fly from the ship at the highest possible speed. Of to deliver the message to Casimir and bring back Renfri, plus whatever was in that note. Naturally she had no idea the note would change everything and give her quite the interesting time ahead.

Ri closed his eyes, barley realizing the private conversation he was missing. He had more things to worry about. He wiggled his left fingers, his wand being summoned, It was in his hand as Luthien turned back to him and gold him to rest. It was true, there could be a traitor still on the ship, and he would have to be careful. He liked the idea of Renfri coming, but also didn't want to put her in danger. He gave her a sharp look as she then rehearsed how to care for his wounds. He was a druid. Basic healing was common knowledge. Burns wouldn't be too difficult. All he needed was the right ingredients for the burn heal potion. His glare grew deeper as she continued. He wasn't an idiot. True, his distillery had blown up on him, but that was decided to be sabotage.
At least he would have time to think of ways to secure and better his distillery now. As he was left alone, he lifted his left arm, some stinging, but nothing compared to his right side. He looked at his charred wand, hurt, but not broken It would still work fine. He cast a Patronus to race to his friend Constellation, it would give him a list of ingredients needed from Hy-Brasil, along with how and were to deliver it to. The druids week voice, in Brasilic, would clue his friend into the direness of his request.
@bjorn @luthien OOC: I think we can end it here.
