February 2026 It had been a number of months since Emrys had had his first interaction with with the muggle girl named Xantha. It had been quite an adventure. While apart, she was far from his thoughts. But when they got together, things tended to get hot and heavy....fast. The best part, was that she wanted commitment just as much as he did. Not at all. They had met up a number of times since their first interaction. Through their many encounters, they had started to become quite friendly. He continued to feed on her when they got together, but she was also good company.
It was dark out, and he had finished his time in the recording studio. He hadn't been planning to meet up with Xantha, though he was out looking for some fun, and perhaps a bite to eat. The vampire found his way to a populated area for muggles in the evening. He skipped the club scene for now, that would be easy to find if he felt like it. But this time, he made his way to an area that he knew a number of shows were going on. Performances where the patrons would be getting out. It wouldn't be hard to find one or two stragglers. In time, he would easily have his fill. He had successfully ditched his security guards a while back. Staying away from his regular haunts was one way he kept ahead of them. As long as he didn't buy anything, and kept his phone off, no one would be able to find him. And by "no one" he meant his aunt, who insisted on keeping him on a leash.... for obvious reasons. But he did have to get out sometimes. When else was he going to have his fun.

It had been an interesting few months. A lot happened and ever since landing her job Xantha had been able to build some small reserves. She spent a fair bit on making sure that Mavis, her mother and Spot were taken care of. She didn't keep much for herself but it was enough to get by. Days were good and so far she didn't have much to complain about. She got home safe most evenings after she was done with the actual performance and cuddled with Spot before bed, always looking out to see if Mavis made it home safe, unless she'd given prior notice she was couch surfing somewhere. The two girls were like sisters in a way, or at least Xantha saw her that way. She sighed slightly as she checked her phone and put on the jacket to head home. Simple wear but it served to keep her warm, which was quite needed in the cold of the early year.
It was as she left the building that she spotted one of the idiots she worked with. She'd noticed he was far too interested in her even though she hadn't even slept with him once! She was trying to be professional but clearly he didn't feel like that. She rolled her eyes and rather than head for her house (which she didn't need him to find) she headed into the crowd. She realised he was trying to follow, probably trying to catch her alone to ask her out (again). Not if it was up to her! She spied a familiar face in the crowd and find herself smiling. Now that was a sight for sore eyes. She walked up, her face somewhat neutral as she stopped near him. They had a strange habit of meeting in ... interesting circumstances. She stopped next to him and without specifically looking at him she continued the in-joke the two had built up over their odd encounters. "Agent E." She said as a shape of acknowledgement. "Working the field tonight?" She asked him politely before looking up at him with a grin and a wink. If nothing else a conversation with Emrys might just be enough to get the idiot coworkers off her back for the night. Not that she was trying to use Emrys to that end of course. She sighed for a moment as she looked over her shoulder and spotted him. She then proceded to mutter to Emrys. "I'd appreciate some assistance. One of my coworkers keeps trying to ask me out and he's decided following me around might help. Care to help me persuade him to quit? I'll owe you one." She muttered it softly, mostly to keep the crowd around them from hearing too much. She was pretty sure she could handle it by herself but she wanted to keep her job so beating him to a pulp unfortunately wasn't an option. Such a shame.

Who to pick? The crowd was filled with easy targets. Blending with the group, he was quite literally a wolf in sheep's clothing. He quietly observed the people around, searching for a straggler. Someone alone. Someone that wouldn't be missed, not for a while at least. As time passed, he felt the hunger. He would have to choose. There were two easy targets, but which would be better? Before he could choose, he was approached. Distracted by this, Emrys stopped and looked, letting his prey slip away into the night. His lips curled into a predatorial grin. Target acquired.
"Agent E." She had addressed him. It was a fun little game, the pretense of secret agents who meet in the night. "Agent X." He said in a wonderous tone. He hadn't expected to run into her, but glad that he had. She asked her question and he nodded. "Been undercover." He wondered if her presence meant what he thought it did. And hoped that it would. He could blow off some steam and get a nice bite in the process. He followed her gaze to see a young man. Was she being followed? Before he could ascertain more information, she asked for his help. Sizing up his prey was easy. The man seemed sweet, but determined. Without a word, Emrys pulled the girl into him, letting his hands rest lower than a gentleman's would.
The man approached and Emrys shrugged, speaking loud so that all could hear "Your right, there's no way he could compete with me." He gave a wicked grin, as the man stopped, looking at the two. Making a point to look up and down the man, as if inspecting a large slice of meat he grinned. "So sorry, but." He lifted Xantha's chin to him, and kissed her, forcing his tongue into her. The passionate exchange didn't last long, he turned back to the man, his grin growing mischievous and evil. "This one's mine." He then looked the man deep into his eyes, seeing hope shattering before him, he sealed his fate. "Stop trying with Xantha." He said in a low, concise voice. With that, the man was gone.
After he was gone, he released the girl, letting an arm stay across her shoulders. "got any plans?"

The advantage of Emrys was that she didn't have to worry he was going to get attached to her. Surely they could easily consider themselves friends but it wasn't as if he wanted more than that. Well, the benefits were nice but that was something they both wanted. It wasn't as if he was going to attempt to lay claim on her or somehow lock her down. He had as much interest in that as she had, which was none. They liked their freedom but enjoyed their pleasures all the same. He stated he'd been undercover and she nodded. From what she gathered of their improvised code language it usually meant he was out dodging his babysitters. She glanced around, nothing their clear absense and she instantly knew that fun was possibly on the menu tonight. It happened more often when he managed to escape his bodyguards.
While she hadn't exactly expected his plan to get rid of David (that was the coworkers name) she couldn't really complain. She felt him pull her in and leaned into him a little more than she normally might have. Everything was about putting on the right kind of show after all. She was acting almost like a love sick puppy, looking at Emrys with slight adoration that was completely alien to her. Emrys was a good friend, but she definitively wasn't in love with him, she just wanted David to think so. As Emrys started pretending to be the jealous boyfriend Xantha played along, even if the notion made her a little bit uncomfortable. He wasn't like that, luckily, or she would have regretted asking for help. She definitively leaned into the kiss, making a show to catch her breath and moan slightly as Emrys let go after the short exchange. As if that alone was enough to make her dizzy with desire. Not by far, his love bites did a far better job at that.
Still relief flooded her system as Emrys created more space, simply keeping his arm draped around her like a friend might, just as well as a lover could. She chuckled and didn't look back as David no doubt retreated to lick his wounds. "I was planning to go home at first but right now I'm thinking there might be a far more appealing option." She said with a smile and a twinkle in her eyes that betrayed just what was on her mind. The little taster of passion he'd shown just yet, but without the act of jealous boyfriend/lover. It wasn't like him and it didn't suit him all that well either, even if she appreciated he did that to help her out. It meant a lot to her as it made her problem a lot easier to resolve. "Did you have any specific plans in mind that I'm interrupting or am I a possible welcome new possibility?" She asked almost teasingly.

Xantha was one is his friends, or had become one over the few months they knew each other. And like most of his friends, there were benefits. For Emrys, that meant, that if he couldn't find fun with strangers, he would seek out a friend for some entertainment. He pulled the girl in, and she understood what his intentions were, leaning into his body. She played her part well. Reminding Emrys of his many fans, though he planned to give her more than his signature...if all went to plan. Their kiss a precursor, something that always tended to lead into some form of property damage.
He had asked her what her plans were, and it seemed as though she didn't have anything fun lined up. He smiled. She asked if he had plans, teasing him as she spoke. He chuckled. "I'm done with everything for the night." He looked at her as they aimlessly moved with the crowd. "How do you feel about all nighters." He asked, a mischievous glint in his eye, and a seductive grin on his lips. True, he had intended to find a bite, and potentially return to one of his old haunts for some entertainment, but plans could easily change. The vampire had one of his favorite snacks in his arm, and he had not intention of releasing her until he was done.

Well he certainly knew how to make invitations sound good. The words combined with that glint in his eyes and the smile on his lips would have had her weak in the knees from anticipation if she'd had worse stamina. They hadn't really pulled an all nighter before since Xantha usually had obligations at home to take care of or Emrys had plans or obligations that she didn't need to get tangled up in. The offer was oddly tempting, especially with how long they usually lasted together. He had exceptional stamina and with her dancing she also didn't exactly tire all that easily either. It made sense that an all nighter to them would literally be able to last until morning with several short breaks to have a drink and maybe a snack, if he provided them. She pretended to consider, even if he must have already known the answer ahead of time. "Sounds good to me. I just need to text my roommate I'll be out so she can feet my cat." She said, grabbing her phone.
She sent a quick text to Mavis to let her know she would be staying over some place and would probably head in to work from there. A quick request if she could possibly feed Spot joined the text and after sending it Xantha turned off her phone. She loved Mavis but the girl got curious and Xantha didn't really feel like being distracted. Not to mention it was possible that some of her coworkers had heard about the little stunt Emrys had pulled on David and she expected at least some of the other girls in the ensemble to be texting her asking for details. She wasn't having it. If her phone was off they couldn't bother her with all of that. She put it in her pocket and looked up at Emrys with a wicked little smile on her face. "There, all fixed. Now you can have me all night long." She said, a smile playing on her face as she said it. He was sure to take advantage of it and she definitively wanted him to. Time spent with him was never boring, even if she spent some time ignoring the more peculiar details. His red eyes and prothetic teeth for instance. They were a little freaky but he'd never actually hurt her or left any wounds in any part of her body so if that was his thing or part of his band persona she wasn't going to judge. She understood the appeal of the night life at least, it was a lot more interesting than the daytime was.

Emrys was reaching the second half of his day, the part where he was free to roam and do as he pleased. Once the sun came up, he had a habit of going sleep until around noon, then he would start things up once again. But for most people, night was when they slept. Xantha wasn't much different. He phrased his words to her taste, and she seemed to think it over, though he was confident the tempting offer would stick. It didn't take her long to agree, and message her roommate about it. And with her words, he started to steer their movement.
"Now you can have me all night long." He gave a wide smile down to the girl. She may learn to regret those words. But so far, she seemed to enjoy their interactions just as much as he did. With is arm around her, he moved her closer to him, letting their bodies fit close together as they walked side by side.
They two walked until the came to a building. It was known for it's high security, but he felt comfortable with the girl now. Enough to show her his place. Many of his friends knew where it was. and it meant that they had made it to a higher level of trust than the average one night stand. The front door was easy to get in, but then there was a security desk. He nodded as the security guard welcomed him back. Moving past the second set of doors, after being buzzed in, they moved to the elevators, where he promptly selected the top floor option. With the elevator door shut, they were finally alone. he turned to her, looking her in the eyes. "Nothing you see is out of the ordinary" He had to be careful. She was muggle after all. The box moved up, and the two kissed.
It didn't take long for the two to get to the top. The elevator opened to a small room, not much there but some large doors. He moved to the door, unlocking it with his keys he opened it up to a spacious living area and kitchen. Further back there was a slew of instruments, all that he could play. There was also a stair case that led to the loft bedroom, with bathrooms on the first and second floor. If she moved to look up the loft, she may see doors that lead to an outdoor patio space.

There was something oddly comfortable about being this close to Emrys. She didn't know why but she trusted him. He was her friend and the fun they had pretending to be secret agents certainly helped a lot. Well, she was pretending. Sometimes she wondered if he secretly was a secret agent that just happened to play in a famous band as cover so he could get around more easily. Things around him were a little odd from time to time and he was rich enough to get away with some insane things. Not to mention his cure against lightheadedness was far more effective than she'd expect any natural medicine to be. She had never been one for government conspiracies but action and spy movies did interest her when she was younger. She figured all his crazy expensive stuff was possibly just spy gear with nano technology or something. It made sense considering how rich he was and that he didn't even flinch at the idea of going to expensive hotels for the sake of a little fun. A modern James Bond? She'd had crazier theories, including him being in a cult that secretly worshipped vampires. Crazy people, since vampires obviously didn't exist. By now she'd concluded that to be absurd and that it was more likely a guise for his fan base to fantasize over. Considering the amount of vampire romance novels it made perfect sense.
The building he lead her to was without a doubt impressive. Anybody that lived here had to be somewhat rich and affluent. There was no way somebody could afford to live here, even less so on a sallary like hers. It wasn't that she earned so little, but she had quite a few expenses. Keeping her bank account and phone were priorities to her since she depended on them for the sake of getting a job after this one was done. Not to mention buying a bunch of house hold appliances was part of her dream for the future. Maybe eventually get around to fixing the various leaks in the roof? Buy an actual bed rather than having an old lumpy stolen mattrass on the floor.. Those were her dreams. Living a regular kind of life, which made her fairly certain she couldn't ever ask Emrys over to her place. She and Mavis had barely enough room for both their mattrasses, and the two foldable chairs were not exactly comfortable. Xantha smiled slightly, completely stunned by the lavishly decorated lobby already. Maybe she could buy a water boiler for her and Mavis? They could have some instant meals rather than eat salad as often as they did. Oven perhaps? Microwave? It was a lot easier to dream about luxuries in a place like this.
When he selected the top floor in the building Xantha figured she shouldn't have been surprised. He was rich and apparently insanely so. This was crazy! He looked her straight in the eyes and she worried for half a second if it was all that obvious just how insanely out of place she was here. Even her very clothes made her stand out like a sore thumb. Then he said nothing here was out of the ordinary. She felt his words were true and nodded briefly, almost dazed before blinking and chuckling, shaking her head slightly. "Honestly, I've never been in a place this fancy before." She replied with a chuckle, as if he'd said something else. Naturally some of the magical stuff might have stood out to her before, but with his hypotism taking over her senses it was even less likely to be noticed at all. Even if she did she'd excuse it away. Technology way beyond her pay grade, without a doubt. Then he kissed her and she just melted into his body. This was simple and familiar and helped her feel a lot less out of place. Like she could steal a moment here and pretend her life could be like this one day, a house that actually had all the essentials.
His front door was large, and the moment it opened up she blinked in astonishment, her eyes opening wide for a moment. Almost as if in trance she stepped in after him, looking around. This space was huge to her mind and far beyond her comprehension. People lived like this? She almost felt like fleeing, as if she'd been transported to a world where she wasn't allowed to be. She warily stepped in, barely moving beyond the door before taking her shoes off and putting them to the side. She wasn't going to make a mess here, at least not on her own. If he wanted to make a mess she wasn't going to stop him considering this was his place. Now if this wasn't straight out of an action movie she wasn't sure what was. She looked at Emrys, determinded to overcome her shock and discomfort. "So, Agent E..." She muttered, still somewhat stunned. "Do you keep your secret lab hidden behind a bookcase or a hatch? I'm afraid my agency hasn't promoted me to a place this nice yet. I still have quite a few jobs to go before I'm at your level it seems." Not to mention a whole lot of floors, considering the view. She walked over to a window and looked out, smiling ever so slightly. Then she looked at the large collection of instruments and bit her lip. "Do you play all of those?" She asked, feeling her body almost itch with the desire to dance. It was one of the only things in life she loved more than anything else, along with Spot and Mavis. Naturally she didn't mind the reason he brought her up here either and was really looking forward to that but for now, she was still very taken in by the sight of his place alone.

Emrys often thought of himself as an open book, though there were plenty of things that others just didn't need to know. Along with the hours of practice and coaching from his aunt. But when it came to where he lived, he was very private. His penthouse was his sanctuary. It was where he could get away from everything and everyone. Only two people had a key, other than him. Everyone else had to check in, or have their name on a permanent list. A list, where it was easier to get their name taken off of, than put on.
The building he lived in had high security, and it was no joke. Most of it's residents enjoyed their anonymity, and privacy. Just getting in was hard enough. Emrys had no problem though, he did, in fact live in the penthouse. He could feel Xantha tensing as they moved though the building. It was clear that the young woman wasn't as used to the place. But that was to be expected. Emrys knew that many people didn't live the way the he did, but if he had to spend a number of hours trapped in it, as the sun was up, he might as well enjoy it. He used his ability to ensure that anything magical in his place would seem perfectly normal to the muggle girl, and she admitted that she had never been in a place so "fancy." he chuckled. She'd do fine. Their kiss so natural and hungry. The two entered into his place, she shut and locked the door behind him. While the building security was top of the line, he always ensured that his front door was locked. The last thing he needed was one of his stalkers to make their way in while he was in the shower or something.
As the girl ogled her surroundings, he made his way to pick up a small remote, pushing a button, the blackout curtains made way for the large windows He loved his view, dark sky, the lights from the street and other buildings. She finally spoke, keeping the agent persona alive. He chuckled moving back to her, closing the gap. "I'm afraid that's classified. If you want to see all my toys, your going to have to earn it." He let her move to the window, knowing that she had to get used to her surroundings, enjoying her reactions to seeing everything for the first time. He moved up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist as she looked at his instruments. "I do. Playing helps me think." Not to mention the composing and writing his own music.

A remote for the curtains? She inadvertly blinked a few times as the curtains moved themselves. Rich people, they could make anything happen. On that part he could afford things that she wouldn't dream of being able to ever have in her life, and she suspected automated curtains were simply the beginning of the list. The view definitively was eternally out of her price range unless she could get a plane ticket to anywhere at all. And yet she wouldn't even dream of quitting her job if she was promised this much money and luxuries in return. No, her job was her everything and she'd sacrificed a lot to make it happen. Not even moving curtains would have pursuaded her to change her mind on what she'd done with her life. Emrys was just from a different planet all together and while having a peek was interesting enough, it wasn't her world and it never would be. She'd never be able to afford living like this.
He stood by her at her comment on his secret lab and told her she needed to earn it. Her familiar cheeky smile crept back on her face again as she felt a little more at ease again. "And how should I be going about that?" She asked him with a seductive little smile, more than willing to indulge if he wanted to play this little game. She enjoyed it far too much and if he did have a secret room she wouldn't be opposed to seeing it at all. Considering all the already alien things she'd seen so far (and she was only thinking about the muggle ones) she couldn't imagine the high tech toys he might have hidden away in a secret room. The thought alone set her imagination on fire. Maybe a phone that allowed holograms like in those Iron Man movies? That had to be in there somehow. Or maybe more like those spy kids movies in which there were all kinds of crazy gadgets? She was running away with herself again and forced herself back into reality.
Emrys helped, as he wrapped his arms around her. She could feel herself relaxing into his arms almost involuntarily. Something about him just put her at ease completely. She trusted him and smiled slightly as he mentioned music helping him think. She could almost relate, except it was different for her. She felt the vague smile on her face more than she was aware of it. "I guess it's almost like that for me." She answered, almost as if in trance. "Dancing helps me stop thinking." She explained in an almost dreamy voice. "For a while nothing matters except for me and the music. Everything else just fades away, worries, hurt, sadness.... there's nothing there except for me and the music. I'm not sure I've ever felt anything as pure and innocent in happiness and joy as dancing." Then she broke free from her reveree, almost shocked she'd been that open with somebody that wasn't Mavis. She frowned for a moment and bit her lip. "I mean, our fun is fantastic, it's just... different." She said with a shrug, attempting to shake the feeling. She was out of place here and she felt lulled almost to sleep, as if the worries of the street had lost their grip on her. She barely even thought about things in the room and her brain felt almost a little hazy. It had to be David somehow. Maybe her elation at having escaped his advances had lulled her brain to sleep. That made most sense.
Determinded to shake off the odd feeling of comfort and safety she turned around in Emrys' arms, smiling at him as she pressed her body against his. "So what would you like to do next, now that I'm no longer enchanted so utterly by the luxuries of rich people?" She asked him, amused. He knew she wasn't rich, although she was fairly certain he didn't quite realise just how little money she actually had. She at least hoped he didn't, as it was something she considered to be quite embarressing. He was this well off and he certainly could come by better entertainment than a street rat like herself. Not that it mattered much now that they'd started to hang out as friends rather than just remain a one night stand with barely a name attached. Maybe money didn't matter after all....

She asked how she would be able to earn the information she sought after and he gave a wicked grin. "I think your smart enough to figure that out." He said softly, baiting the girl.
She moved around, taking everything in. Emrys comfortable in his own home. As she looked at his instruments, he came up behind her, wrapping his arms around her. She relaxed in his embrace, talking about how music and dancing helped her forget about everything. What she said was interesting. And she pulled away from his arms, though not too far. It was obvious that she wasn't as comfortable with her surroundings as he was. "What we do is far from innocent" Sentimental talk was nice, it was what friends did, they opened up to each other. But Emrys wasn't one to deeply dive into things like that. It didn't take long for her to turn and face him. He welcomed her weight into his and he tightened his arms around her once again.
She asked him what was next and he smiled. Taking a moment to tenderly kiss her soft lips. "My bed is upstairs. You can get your self comfortable, I'll grab some drinks." He thought it only fair. She seemed a bit thrown off by his abode, though they had been in far nicer hotel rooms, this place was his. He motioned of the stairs. Letting her go as he went to the kitchen poring two glasses of wine. Taking a moment to turn on his phone and text his aunt, quickly turning the device off and leaving it on the counter. He wouldn't need any further distractions, and he didn't have anything scheduled until at least later tomorrow afternoon.
The loft wasn't nearly as large as the main living area, though it did contain a large bathroom, a walk in closet area, along with the largest bed size possible. The sheets were dark red and soft, the blanket covering tastefully matched. From the main open area, which contained the bed, there was a double door out to a simple but nice patio and garden area.
@xantha OOC: Ended with another short description of the loft, use the information as you wish.

At long last things got more simple again. She asked, he hardly provided an answer, just the way she enjoyed it. It was the teasing and jesting she was used to. While he'd taken her to nicer hotel rooms than this in the past they were always hotel rooms. They were fleeting moments of what a rich life might be, but they usually just were hotel rooms with more luxuries than the cheaper one they'd been to the first time. A nicer bed, better service and more furniture. At times a minibar that Xantha never risked. She wasn't really the type to drink alcohol, although she hadn't really had time to tell that to Emrys. They were usually concerned with something other than beverages after all.
He commented that what they did was far from innocent and she couldn't agree more. She smirked at the notion and shrugged seemingly carelessly. There were worse things, weren't there? "I enjoy not being so innocent." She said in a seductive tone of voice. This was good and a lot more comfortable than sharing was. Even though she could feel the cold floor through her socks and the place was singing to her she wasn't here to do any vertical kind of dancing. She'd promised him he could have fun with her all night and she didn't think any vertical dancing was on the menu. That sort of thing sounded far too romantic, unless it was joined with some sort of battle prelude like in Mr. and Mrs. Smith. She loved her spy movies. The tango of murder had been one of her favourite scenes. Now vertical dancing without their clothes on where she'd not be touching the floor sounded a lot more like the type of entertainment they were seeking from each other.
It was clear he was comfortable here as he gave her an oddly soft kiss. She smiled slightly bemused as she headed towards the stairs. She couldn't help herself, her walking ended up almost like dancing even as she went for the stairs as instructed. She glanced over to the windows before she went up the stairs, enjoying the sparkle of the lights of the city in the darkness for just a moment before she went up the stairs. As soon as she was out of sight she spinned around a few times in excitement and amazement. It was a little difficult to contain herself when in a place like this. She looked around, nothing a lightly opened door to a huge bathroom along with a walk in closet. She had to entertain herself for a moment there, looking in at the insane amount of clothes he had. She giggled for a moment before looking out at the patio and garden, her mouth dropping open. Sure, the bed was nice, but it was just a bed and she was going to see plenty of that later. She bit her lip for a moment as she wondered if it was bad manners to go out on the patio and look at the little garden. She considered it a brief moment and shrugged, not caring for the chill of winter as she stepped out on her socks, breathing deeply to feel the fresh air enter her lungs. This place was fantastic! She smiled and looked at the little garden that had plants she'd never seen before. No doubt rich people plants. She looked down for a moment at the city below and she was mezmerised. What a life indeed.
Knowing Emrys probably wouldn't take too long to grab them drinks she sighed almost regretfully, taking off her socks and stuffing them into her pocket, letting her toes feel the floor for a moment. She smiled, feeling the freedome such a place had to offer and shook her head at herself before going back in and closing the doors behind her. She crossed her arms for a moment as the chill broke through the excitment and she rubbed her arms for a moment as she sat down on the bed. It felt like a cloud, which all those fancy five star hotel beds also did. It certainly wasn't lumpy by any means. This was going to be a better nights rest than most nights and without even resting if she estimated the stamina of her company right. Her blood was running through her veins as her heart beat fast in excitement and anticipation. This was going to be a memorable night. All she had to do was wait for Emrys to come up here, although she didn't think she'd have to wait very long. If he was as eager to start their restless little night as she was he wouldn't be long.

Emrys was a passionate person. When someone was with him, he was all theirs. But if they expected sweet texts during the day, flowers or sweets for no reason, signs that he was thinking of them when they were apart.... They would be sorely disappointed. Once he was done, and they were apart, he never gave it a second thought. One night stands were common, and the friends that he did have, and shared the benefits, were regular partners of his. But he never slept with the same person twice in a row. It was just the way he did things. Completely lacking in commitment.
She said that she liked not being so innocent and he grinned. They seemed to be on the same page again. Emrys intended to enjoy every moment of this night. Clothing was not necessary for what they were about to do, though it did create part of the fun. Leaving his phone off an on the counter, Emrys kicked off his shoes and took the glasses towards the stairs. Moving slowly, he felt no need to rush. If anything, the separation was a precursor to the excitement they would be having momentarily. Getting to the top of the stairs, he saw her sitting on his bed. He handed her a glass, sipping at his. He set it down on one of the tables, taking off his jacket. The wine was nice, but he didn't intend to wait much longer. He moved back to the girl. Leaning over, bringing his face close to hers. "You seem to have had a chance to look around." He commented, leaning closer in. "Anywhere you'd like to start in particular?" Given their first, and subsequent other times together, neither of them seemed picky as to positioning or location.

Xantha didn't have to wait very long, as expected. She accepted the glass from him, resisting the urge to pull a face as she smelled the alcohol in the beverage. She wasn't going to be rude and refuse the drink though. She took a sip and smiled at him wickedly as he neatly disposed of a first layer of clothing. She watched him, her eyes hungry as she let them glide over the body she knew was hidden underneath those clothes. She enjoyed it, yet there was always the fun of anticipation. He leaned in, her face dangerously close to her own but she didn't move back, choosing to relish in his attention while it lasted. She didn't want him longer than the night, that much she was certain of. The idea of being tied to somebody made her uncomfortable so even the suggestion Emrys had made to David had been unsettling, had she not known Emrys better. His kindness and more gentle ways were interesting to her, since they were mostly alien to her. She tended to be about passion, but rarely bothered with sweet and tender moments.
She grinned at his question, taking another small sip of the questionable liquid in the glass. She rarely drank so she knew to be careful not to drink too much. Still, it tasted better than any wine she'd ever had before. She shifted, lifting herself off the bed as she sat the glass down on the nightstand. She stood op tiptoes, slowly snaking her arms around his neck and bringing herself closer to him. "Well since I get a say today..." She muttered softly, her face as neutral as it could be as she looked up at him from between her lashes, "I'd personally prefer to start off on the patio. I took a sneak peek and the garden looks absolutely lovely." She said in a whisper, playing with his hair slightly as she did so. If they started in the cold they had plenty of time during the rest of the night to warm one another up. It also tended to get colder over the course of the night before it got warmer again and she didn't want to risk missing out on the patio because either of them lost stamina or was unable to handle the cold. Not to mention the view of the stars up here would be amazing, with as little light as there was up here, if they didn't make it by themselves. Stars below and stars above, now that was a memorable kind of location. Besides, variation was the spice of life, wasn't it?

The breathless anticipation made Emrys smile. He knew what was to come, but prolonging it, teasing himself with soft touches, and closeness was overpowering. She moved closer to him and wrapped her arms around his neck, the two now standing, their bodies pushed together. His hands caressed her curves as she spoke. Opting to start outside. While still cold outside, it was no doubt that their bodies could keep each other warm enough.
They shared a breath together before Emrys spoke softly. "As you wish" Moving his hands and body to lift he girl up, ensuring that her legs were wrapped around him, he kissed her hard. It was short lived, as he moved and opened the door to outside. Cold air rushed in and the two were soon out. He set her partially on the railing, still supporting most of her weight, snaking his hands from their position up, under her shirt, and situating softly on her back, both ensuring that she wouldn't fall, but also to fondle her skin. With the girl situated, his kisses became harder, more hungry. After a time he took a beak, pulling from her lips and moving down to her neck. Letting her enjoy what view she could see while passion overtook him, pulling her body into his.
