Sapphire-Rose worked with a number of interior decorators that had wealthy clients, though it had been a while since this particular decorator had reached out to her. She'd made several custom glass pieces for the woman a little less then a year ago. Apparently, the decorator wanted a new piece made, and so she'd reached out to Sapphire-Rose. She'd gotten some.. vague... instructions, but she could work with it. Apparently the owner of the penthouse was indifferent about it, he just wanted the place to look nice. So, she got all the creative freedom she wanted. All she knew was the size parameters. The piece would be HUGE.
Sapphire-Rose had been working on it for weeks. The piece itself in the end was nine feet in length. as the plan was to have it be a hanging center piece in a huge vaulted ceiling. The piece was also quite detailed, with many interesting angles and shapes to reflect light in unique ways. It was shades of greens and blues, the color chosen in part because Sapphire-Rose favored blue, but also because after seeing pictures of the pent house she'd decided it would stand out the best. It was meant to be a center hanging piece, an eye catcher.
After those weeks slaving away at the glass piece, it was finally ready. She arranged with the decorator to have the piece transported to the penthouse, but then they would leave it to her to install. As, being the artist, she knew the best way to secure it. The piece had been delivered about an hour before she arrived. She had to check in at the front desk, though her name was already registered for the day. Apparently the building took security very seriously. Not that she was surprised, considering the piece she'd created. You didn't custom order something like this for cheap. The door of the penthouse was open when she finally reached the top floor, and she could see the movers carefully working on unpacking the box. She stepped inside. "Be careful with that," she commented, though she wasn't concerned. She'd worked with these guys before, they knew to be gentle with her work. Then, she looked around for the owner of the penthouse. All she spotted was a young man. Quite handsome, she had to admit. She put on her business smile and stepped over to him. "You must be Emrys. I'm Sapphire-Rose. What do you think of the piece?" They'd unpacked it enough that you could get a good look at it lying down. It really was an exquisite piece and clearly the work of an expert crafter.

Emrys' penthouse had a high vaulted area and it had seemed to be lacking something. Because of that, he had given the task to his interior designer to figure something out. Like everything in the highly styled place, he didn't care what it looked like, just as long as it looked good. Being a successful musician, money wasn't exactly an issue. His royalties either went towards a number of hotels with damaged property claims, or to one of his personal bank accounts. When the money managed to get to one of his accounts, which the money was always split between them thought some algorithm, it was his to spend as he would. The first account was for his regular fees, the penthouse, phone, and any other regularly scheduled payments that had to be made. But the other was for him and him alone. He could buy whatever he wanted. And buy he did.
The designer had chosen a glass art fixture by a well known artist. The day had arrived for the pieces to be delivered. He had ensured that his apartment was ready for anyone to walk in, anything magical had been tucked away. He didn't care where the décor came from, so he accommodated that. Seeing as the installation was scheduled for the afternoon, he had woken up and gotten the place ready, ensuring that there was no chance of sunlight entering the area, the blinds were down and blackout curtains covered the large windows. He watched as the movers carefully took piece by piece out of it's protective boxing. Knowing that the piece when put all together would be a great size, perfect for the space that it was intended. As he watched, a woman, he could only assume the artist, walked in, telling the others to be careful. She came over to him with a professional smile, and Emrys returned it with a wide smile of his own. She seemed just his type, provided she was into him. "Nice to meet you, Sapphire-Rose. The piece looks great. I'm excited to see it all put together." He was excited for the colorful glass to be put up.

Sapphire-Rose took great pride in her work, and knowing that she never put out a bad piece. No, she was too good at her craft, and too much of a perfectionist to not do anything less than her best. You always knew that you'd be getting a quality piece from her, especially considering the tidy sum she'd been paid. It wasn't everyday that someone wanted to drop this kind of cash on art, so when it happened? She took extra care. Because if they did it once they'd do it again. If she proved herself to be someone worth dropping that kind of money for.
The pictures hadn't done the place justice. The penthouse was professionally styled and she spotted high quality pieces everywhere she looked. No doubt this young man was extremely wealthy. It also confirmed in her mind that she'd made the right piece for the space. It'd be stunning hanging from the ceiling and give the space the right eye catching piece. While vaulted ceilings could really open up a space it could also sometimes open up a space too much if there wasn't anything going on. "I'm glad you like it. Your decorator wasn't too specific on the design, so I used reference photos she provided to design a suitable piece for the space. I can get it up in less then half an hour." If this piece had been for a muggle, it might have taken a few hours to assemble and hang, but Sapphire-Rose hadn't been commissioned by a muggle. She always made sure to get that detail when doing custom details. It was much easier with magic.

Emrys had done quite well for himself over the last few years. Moving into a high security penthouse wasn't for those with little money. He didn't care too much about what it looked like, but he did want it to look good, so he got the best interior designer that money could buy. This latest art piece would help fill the two story vaulted sealing area, and would bounce light around the loft and the main floor. The place was well designed, and there were many expensive things around. It was also clean, thanks to the cleaning service who finished their job the day before.
The woman talked about the piece that she had designed. He wasn't picky on what things looked like, as long as it looked good. She came highly recommended, and that was good enough for the vampire. She also said that she could get the piece up quickly. Magic was useful for that. "It'll be nice to get something up, the space just looks hollow now." He glanced to the wide open space. "After it's up, we can see how well it reflects light." He gave a smirk and a wink.
