tell me what's my lesson look right through me December 2022 @peytonbainbridge Diana found it challenging to concentrate on the task at hand, a History of Magic paper and reading she had to complete for the following morning. Naturally, she’d procrastinated it, but normally that wasn’t an issue when it came to History. There was a feeling of unease and fear was felt by everyone in the Ravenclaw Common room. And by this point, the news of what had happened had spread faster than a spattergroit outbreak. One of her classmates had been attacked, but it was unknown who had done it. After the student's death on the train and another Ravenclaw earlier in the term, everybody was tense and reasonably concerned. Still, she couldn’t concentrate. Diana closed her book and threw it in her bag with the rest of her school items and other random things that had accumulated over the years.
A walk might clear her head, though it was leaning toward dinner time, and she didn’t feel it would be a good idea to walk the grounds alone. Diana instead opted to take the scenic route to the library. Maybe the lack of actual quiet would help her concentrate, like white noise one could tune out. She strolled, taking the moving staircases almost on autopilot as she mostly stared at the floor in front of her. One hand gripped the strap of her messenger bag as it was slung diagonally across her chest, sitting under her blue scarf. She enjoyed looking at the different paintings in parts of the castle that didn’t have too many students walking through, though as she finally looked up and away from a portrait of a knight on a horse, she saw a yellow scarf and blond hair. Diana recognized that hair anywhere and also which triplet it belonged to. While her peers maybe have considered that a magical ability on its own, she just knew her sisters. ”Peyton!” She called out as she walked toward her.

'Cause I feel like I can do anything when My head is spinning and my feet off the ground When I can't stop dancing like no one's around Even with the recent deaths that had happened at the beginning of her fourth year, Peyton didn't let that stop her. The young fourteen-year-old was prepared for anything that came her way when it came to school. She had always been like this, though, the type to be ready for class. It led her down the path of being quite educated and helping others out with their studies. Mainly her siblings, Penelope and Persephone, but she helped others as well. If there had been a tutoring club at school or something along that line, she would have joined it. She enjoyed helping others learn, and it was something she thought about doing forever. Becoming a professor seemed like a dream for the young girl, but as young as she was, she knew that would change as she got older. Hobbies sometimes didn't lead to promising careers. That was why Peyton was always in the library. She always worked on classwork weeks in advance, especially studying and papers that needed to be done. Peyton wasn't the type to procrastinate; Peyton once started a report that was due months later the minute they got it—using those months to perfect it until it earned her a high mark on it. That evening, she had opted to head to the library again. Tucking strands of blonde hair away, she threw her yellow scarf around her body as she headed out. And, of course, the young adventurous Hufflepuff made sure to take a safe but scenic route to her destination. 'Peyton!' A familiar voice called her name, her attention pulling away from her thoughts as she spun on her heels to glance back. A smile fluttered upon her face as she took in one of her older siblings. "Diana, hi." she squeaked out, pulling her books closer to her chest. Diana had always been the sibling that could tell the triplets apart faster than the rest. And only seeing Peyton from behind, that was a skill. She wondered if, like Kinsey, if Diana had an unknown ability dwelling deep within her. Was telling one's triplet sisters apart grounds for a unique ability? MADE BY VEL OF GS

tell me what's my lesson look right through me December 2022 @peytonbainbridge Diana’s hair lightened, not dramatically but to a nice warm brown in contrast to its usual darker shade that matched Cara’s. But despite being born with this ability, she’d never been able to successfully unlink how she felt with how her appearance might shift, even if it was slight. Peyton was always the studious one, not that any of the Bainbridge children were not intelligent, but they all had different interests, and how disciplined each one might have been varied. Diana, for example, tended to frustrate her professors with her incredibly bright mind and intelligence, except for the fact that it was hard to direct. Certain topics were easy for her, but she might not turn in an essay despite knowing the topic, which affected her grades.
”Where are you heading? I can walk with you—I’m going to the library.” It would be nice to not walk alone, though she still liked to believe that Hogwarts was a perfectly safe place to be. ”Everyone else in the Common Room?” With Dustin in his final year, he could still play the role of big brother. But because they were in separate houses, Diana could only account for Cara and Kinsey at the moment. Also, depending on where Peyton was heading, she could make sure she arrived safely. Her guess was the library, which means they could arrive together. Kinsey had been able to sense her trepidation, but Diana did a poor job most days of hiding it. ”What assignment are you working on?”

'Cause I feel like I can do anything when My head is spinning and my feet off the ground When I can't stop dancing like no one's around Peyton watched as her sister's hair changed color, something that had always fascinated her. Sadly, the young Bainbridge hadn't been born with such an ability, something that would have made her envious if she were the type. She wasn't though, instead, she just found those types of things fascinating, just as she had her studies and everything else that appeared before her. Her older sister questioned where she was heading, adding that she could walk with her as she headed to the library. Peyton smiled, "That's where I'm going too," she said, her voice high with excitement. 'Everyone else in the Common Room?' The blonde nodded her head, "That's the last place I saw them," she said, not sure if her siblings were still there, but it was likely. There were times when one of her triplets would accompany her to the library or somewhere else on the Hogwarts grounds, but this time was not one of them. Diana questioned what assignment she was working on, and she smiled, "Oh, just a report for Potions...it's not due for a few months, but I wanted to get started early." And since Potions was one of her weaker subjects, Charms being the easier one for the young blonde, she knew she needed all the time she could achieve on the report. MADE BY VEL OF GS

tell me what's my lesson look right through me December 2022 @peytonbainbridge Diana could only imagine what it might have been like if her sisters, the triplets, had been born as metamorphmagus as she had. As it were, she and Cara were not identical twins, so Cara did not have the ability. But having one child like this was probably stressful enough. She recalled a time where she ran off because she had literally seen something shiny in Diagon Alley and her father had quite the time locating her because he had no idea what color hair to look out for. Diana’s hair had always changed color almost at will, though as she got older, it was a bit easier to control but lately, her stress had made it difficult.
She smiled at Peyton, and they both headed in the direction of the library. It was comforting not to be walking alone and also that her sister was also not walking alone. Peyton also confirmed her other siblings in the Common Room, so at least while they traveled to the library, the rest were safe in their respective common rooms. ”A few months?” That was quite the head start, but she supposed that was better than procrastinating. Diana thought about the Charms assignment she had started but hadn’t completed. Perhaps she should finish that now. ” What's the assignment about?” She asked curiously, Potions was not her favorite subject, but Diana hadn’t struggled with it. The concepts were interesting. ”Maybe I can help?”
