They talked about him getting his art out there, Thursday felt it important to encourage talent when she saw it. Though she didn't always have the guts to do so, she could at least try. That was what her parents had done with her when she wanted to learn how video games were made. Now look where she was. She mentioned sending him the information when she had it ready to be played and tested, and he seemed excited about it, which made her smile.
She mentioned the books that she was studying and shrugged when he asked. "The one I was planning on looking through today is mostly in ancient runes, there's a pretty big section about Merlin, and other ancient wizards, but a lot of it is hard to decipher because of strange runes, or weird combinations." She explained. "It's a pretty old, and big codex," she blushed a little bit. "I have to use magic just to get it to the study desk." Not even mentioning that i was practically half the size of the small Ravenclaw. "They keep it in the restricted section because it has to be handled with care. But I got special permission." She grinned ear to ear, Ancient Runes was her favorite subject at school.
She asked if he wanted to go to the library with her, since they were both heading there anyway. She smiled, and sook her head. "I don't mind." She smiled.

Thursday went into a little detail on what she was planning on reading today. It sounded at least a little interesting to Thomas. Not enough that he might look up the book himself on his own time but still seemed better than half the other books in the library. It probably helped that she was the one talking about it. Plus Merlin things were always at least partially interesting to him. He was stuck staring once more as she blushed about having to use magic to move such a book. Probably embarrassed but he still couldn’t help but not pay attention to what she was saying for a moment. “O-oh, well if you want help moving it I can help too.” Thomas offered once he regained his focus. “Are you looking for something in the book or just reading it for fun? I think they have a Merlin museum somewhere in this part of the world if you’re interested in Merlin related things.”
She smiled as she explained that she didn’t mind Thomas joining her. “Thanks, I’ll try not to be too loud.” He joked for a second, he never spoke up much in class and had rarely spoken to Thursday so she probably knew he wasn’t much of the loud type already.

Out of the weekly children, Thursday was one of the least social ones. She could really talk when she was comfortable. Especially when it was a subject she adored. The old tomb was quite large, giving a hint to it's age. She was a small, and not particularly strong girl. But the use of first year levitation magic helped greatly. Nonetheless Thomas offered to help and she smiled at him. "Thanks."
He asked about her reasoning for studying the old book and she shrugged, looking to the side. "I figured that I would take advantage of the opportunity, since I got permission, while I could. It's not like I'd have access to a book like that at home." True, she was a little rich girl, thanks to her family. But there were things that were still out of her reach. He also mentioned the museum and Thursday nodded to that ."Yea, I went there last summer with some friends." It had been fun to look around, her friends who regulated the museum showed her around. "It also has a section of Nordic relics. It's really cool to look at the Runes."
He asked if he could join, and she didn't mind the company. Coming from a family of seven other siblings did that to a person. She didn't mind having people around her. She had learned to focus on her task, even if her louder siblings weren't. Though, sometimes she ended up joining in with their fun. "You don't have to worry about that. Just do what you'd do normally." She had noticed that the boy wasn't very social, and maybe that's what she liked about him. She always felt a bit awkward interacting with classmates, but he somehow seemed to put her at ease

Thursday explained that her interest in the book was mostly due to just having the access to such a thing. She didn’t have that back home. A small smile crept over Thomas’ face for a moment. “True, I don’t imagine people make a habit of having a book too heavy to move normally in their collection.” The rare attempt at the joke offered from the boy. He wanted to be as friendly as he could at this moment. Granted even just attempting such a thing was friendlier than he normally was. More often than not he just made the effort to try and be alone. That or if he was looking to be around a friend it was filled with sarcastic remarks and dry comments. Thursday explained that she had already been to the Merlin museum earlier this year. Going into further detail on the displays inside. There was some mild disappointment inside Thomas for a moment. He hadn’t planned or even expected his suggestion of the museum would have led to something. That was just some fantasy that played out in his head. Yet, she had already gone. “I’ve been meaning to check it out. Glad to know it’ll be worth it.”
Thomas had only been joking about being too loud. He was quiet enough as it was without being around someone who had his nerves on edge and heart racing at moments. She explained he could just do what he normally did and not to worry about her. Which would be hard to do. “The plan was to study but that normally just turns into me drawing after a certain point.” Grades were important but the act of studying could only hold his attention for so long before his doodles out of boredom turned into full-on sketching in his notebook.

Thursday loved the idea of having these rare medium to study whenever she wanted. That was one thing that kept her going while so far away from home. She sighed longingly as he mentioned how not many people had old large and heavy books in their personal collection. "I only wish I had a collection like that." Thursday chuckled. Well, that was the dream, right?
Thomas mentioned the museum, and the girl was more then happy to reminisce about her visit. She had gotten the VIP tour after all. He then mentioned the interest in going sometime and she smiled. "Maybe we could go together." She beamed. After all, she had seen it, but museums were always changing their exhibits around. Plus, it could be fun to go with an artist.
Talking about studying, she ensured that he didn't have to walk on eggshells around her. She did have seven siblings, and very few of them could be classified as quiet, or studious. She chuckled as he mentioned only being able to study for a short period of time. "I get that. It reminds me of the times that I've studied with Saturday. At the longest, they only last about thirty minutes before he has to go out for a smoke. But hey, maybe I can see some more of your drawings." She blushed, and fidgeted a bit. "Well, that is...if you want to."

Thursday claimed to wish she had such a collection of books for herself. Thomas smiled slightly as he still couldn’t imagine wanting a collection of books one could hardly lift. He’d prefer ones that could easily be handled but it was more for the information and how old they might have to be. That was more the appeal than just being too darn heavy. “I suppose when you do finally have such a collection you’ll need to have someone on call just to move them around.” He replied with what he felt was another awful joke, she wouldn’t need such a person with magic around. He was terrible with light-hearted jokes. He was more of the sarcastic type. It also didn’t help he was just bad with talking to people and being nervous around Thursday wasn't making that easier.
As they talked about the Merlin museum Thursday said the thing Thomas’ heart had hoped she would. There was a moment where he almost just blurted out a yes. He held that back as strongly as he could. Instead insisting that he just played it cool. Besides she was just saying such things to be nice, that and she might just want to go again. “That would be fun, you could show me around. I mean if you want to. I can always manage by myself sometimes.” He didn’t want to make her feel like she had to go with him just because he had brought up wanting to go himself. She didn’t have to be that nice to someone she barely knew.
Speaking of studying, Thursday talked about another one of her siblings and their short attention span. He didn’t know all of the Weekly kids well enough to know what each one was like. Just the few he had classes with pretty much. It seemed fine if he slowly drifted off to just sketching in his notebook. She then asked she could check out more of his drawing. Adding afterward if he was fine with it that was. “Y-yeah, I don’t mind. I’m just not used to people being interested in looking at them. Most of them are just landscaping drawings or the random creatures or things I find interesting.” Thomas explained as his drawing had no real rhyme or reason. It was just whatever caught his eye at the moment that gave him the urge to sketch it down. After saying that he quickly regretted his words and agreement. She was one of such things he found interesting enough to draw. He could only hope she avoided those pages or Thursday didn’t bother to ask to look.
