Emrys mentioned their usual entertainment and Xantha smiled slightly. It was indeed quite entertaining to spend time with him. Very Satisfying, one might say. She wasn't overly picky about who she spent such time with or the amount of dedication they had towards her in such events. As long as they didn't expect it to last beyond a fun time she had no trouble. She usually didn't bother sleeping with the same person more than once, unless they showed that they were miles away from a relationship. Unless she could be certain they wouldn't accidentally fall in love or anything. At the first sign of commitment she would rather break it off than risk them wanting more than she could give. Emrys had not once given her reason to believe that he wanted her exclusively, so it didn't bother her to repeatedly have fun with him. As long as he didn't care, she didn't bother to worry where he spent his time when aware from her. She grinned. "That sounds like a delicious plan." She said with a bit of a smirk. It was something that held a lot of appeal, at least to her. Emrys was good at what he did after all.
He mentioned the surf and turn and she instantly looked it up. Partly out of interest and in part because he wanted to know the price range. She noticed it was one of the more expensive dishes, which was a bit of a comfort as it opened up a few doors besides the most cheap option. Thankfully! Maybe just a steak? It had been literal years since she'd had one. She was pretty sure she hadn't had one since her mother got sick but they hadn't exactly had that much spending money after her dad had left. It was quite possible it had been since her father had left, although she wasn't fully sure. Steak sounded delicious. Especially with the sauces they had on offer. She held back a soft moan of desire towards such luxury foods and in stead bit her lip with some force to keep herself in check. It was important. He offered an appetizer to share and she smiled slightly and nodded. "Since everything is good, you can pick and appetizer and I'll just take whatever part of it you don't want." She supplied, as a way to moderate his offer to herself. "And if it's okay I'll probably just have a simple steak." She said, resisting the urge to mention how long it had been since she'd had something that fancy. "Looks like the joining vegetable options are really good too. I like that. Healthy meals keep you in shape and all." She said, half to herself. She rarely indulged in fatty and unhealthy foods if she could avoid it. She didn't really have the liberty of ordering sweets and fatty food wasn't good for her life style She'd rather spend more money on the healthy options. Besides, water was always cheaper as a drink and that certainly helped even out the costs of more expensive food.
He mentioned taking food home and she smiled slightly, knowing that the odds that she'd have anything left over were insanely small. She'd probably eat herself sick before having any left overs since she rarely had the opportunity to overeat to begin with. Not to mention the fridge she and Mavis had was unpredictable. It sometimes froze the food and other times it was just near room temperature. By now the girls had figured out the ideal spots to place food to keep it somewhat decent but it fluctuated with the temperature in the apartment so it was best not to risk it. Especially not with something fancy like steak. On that point it wasn't really the best choice. She frowned slightly at that thought, considering changing her mind in case they served large portions. It would be a shame, but if she got to take the food home it was best not to be so careless.

A hungry grin came over Emrys lips as she agreed with the "delicious plan" to once again explore the other. He enjoyed his time with her, her flexibility and athleticism only enhanced their enjoyment. It also seemed to be what the two preferred over talking.
He ordered high, mostly to ensure that she would feel comfortable ordering whatever she wanted. She mentioned him picking the appetizer and he chuckled. "Fine, but you get half." She mentioned what she was going to get and he smiled. He chuckled to himself. "You and my manage might actually get along on that. She's always insisting that I eat healthier." He didn't mention the fact that he was a vampire, and his main diet consisted with human blood, fresh and bagged, and sweets. He took a look at the appetizers as he thought over what would be the best option.
In time, the a waiter came by to take their orders. Emrys ordered a healthy appetizer, along with his surf and turf, looking at Xantha to order for herself.

She was glad he was insisting she'd get half of whatever he ordered because everything sounded positively delicious. She wasn't used to being able to eat out and well, this place had so many things on the menu that sounded positively delicious that it was difficult to resist. She wanted to order a bite of everything on the menu, but that wasn't just rude but also very expensive and far too much to ask of anybody, including his wallet and the kitchen staff. She'd have to do with whatever he thought sounded nice, and she already knew that would be plenty nice on it's own.
He mentioned his manager insisting he eat healthier and she smiled slightly, but a little bit confused. "Your fridge was full of healthy things. Is that because you always have them as left overs or something?" She asked curiously. She didn't know Emrys that much, but if they were sharing a meal they might as well get to know each other a little more than just physically. She knew that part of him well enough, which was also why she was just a little confused on how he maintained such excellent physique if he needed to eat healthier. She grinned as she leaned back in her chair. "There is nothing about your body that suggests you eat unhealthy. You look the very picture of health. Am I to believe you engage in so much strenuous physical activity that you manage to burn all the unhealthy food that way? Because it makes me wonder how you'd have enough time for both your job, your dining habits and your ... other appetites." She said with a wink and a chuckle. It was curiosity only, so he didn't have to answer, which she was sure he knew.
The waiter came by to take their orders and Xantha smiled politely as she resigned herself to a meal that sounded easier to conserve. Or at least sounded like it might be decent still after getting cold and being out for about a day. She did, however, indulge herself a little, and ordered her side dishes with a small steak. Not that she couldn't have finished a large one, she knew she easily could, but it was a matter of money. The flavour would be equally good on a smaller one and it wouldn't cost as much. At least she had the best of both worlds in that aspect. After ordering she picked up the glass of water that had been delivered and took a sip. Why they had to get bottled water and not just provide tap water would always be a mystery, but it meant she had to find the right balance between hydrating herself and paying for overpriced water because it was held in a plastic container. It did improve the flavour a little, but barely enough to warrent the price tag.

This restaurant was one of Emrys' favorites. It had great food, a nice, private set up, and they accepted orders at all times of the day or night. They also had a menu that appeased his aunts expectations, and they had some truly decadent desserts.
He mentioned his manager, Charlotta, was always getting him to eat healthier, and the girl mentioned his fridge and he laughed. "It's always good to have something in the fridge. " He shrugged. "But I'd rather devour other things." He said seductively, winking as he did. Emrys wasn't good at "friend talk" he enjoyed getting to know people, but it was difficult to get past the physically intimate. She mentioned his physique, and how it suggested that he was quite athletic and he chuckled, absorbing the compliment. In truth, his body was mostly thanks to his vampirism, and his sweet tooth was seemingly unmatched. But he wasn't about to give up his secret that easily. "Best not think about it too hard. Let's just say it's a celebrity secret." He was confident that she wouldn't believe him even if he had told her. But he knew that she was a muggle, and he couldn't break the statute of secrecy over dinner.
Luckily the waiter came by before the conversation could continue. Emrys ordered his food, requesting the red meat be rare, along with a side. Xantha also ordered, and once they were done, the waiter was off. "I'm curious." He said, turning back to the girl. "How did you attract the intention of your stalker." The issue was good and dealt with, but he was curious. Xantha could tell him anything and he'd accept it, even if she said she didn't want to talk about it.

Xantha laughed easily as he joked about devouring her. She shook her head slightly, but the smile never left her lips. "Well some of us do need to eat before we get to such entertainments. I fear a hard day at work for me means a lot of physical activity so I have to restore my energy before spending it again." She said easily, but clearly she wasn't opposed to his ideas on devouring her at all. Now that would keep the day rather interesting at least. He mentioned it being a celebrity secret and she laughed good natured. "Well that's fine. It just means I can't afford whatever it is you're on. Too bad, I'd love to be able to eat cake and sweets without risking my body." She admitted with a smile, although it was a sacrifice she was more than willing to make. It really wasn't all that much of a sacrifice to her after all, since it did mean she was able to pursue her passion in dancing. That was worth all the world to her.
He asked how she'd managed to get the interest of her stalker and she shrugged slightly. "I'm not sure. I mean, I treated him pretty much like everybody else, which was just decent. I was around work more hours than most though, I don't know if that factored in. I don't really have a lot of space at home to practise so I mostly stay late if I want to get some extra time in. Naturally I'll be avoiding that and a whole lot of other things from now on." She pursed her lips for a moment. She figured she just had a pretty face or something like that to catch his attention. She didn't remember doing anything specific to or around him that would get his attention but then again, she could be rather direct if needed. She didn't like wasting time. Maybe he just liked a challenge and had decided to make breaking her his challenge. Her refusal to relent might only have made things worse, but she didn't really want to linger on the idea. It wasn't a very pleasant thought to her. "How do you usually get rid of your stalkers? I doubt talking to them really works." She figured it would be somewhere along the lines of .... paying people to take care of them or security or whatever. Pretty much all of the things she couldn't hope to afford. Not to mention she ran a risk of not being taken seriously, which was also a thing she liked to avoid. It was just humiliating. Plus, she really didn't like cops because of her dad.

Emrys chuckled as Xantha justified needing to eat before certain other activities. She was right, and he didn't mind enjoying a meal with her, but only as a friend. As stated before, Emrys didn't date. There was no discussion. Talking about staying fit while still eating whatever he wanted, the vampire had told his friend that it was a celebrity secret. The obvious train of thought then was that it was expensive. And yes, it came at a high price, but not money. He nodded in agreement. He would never offer to turn anyone, in fact, he was sure that the would never turn anyone. That would be a level of commitment that he just wasn't interested in.
Curious, he asked her how he peaked the kids interest, and she wasn't entirely sure. But it did seem like she had thought about it, agreeing that she should avoid being around him as much as possible, Emrys nodded. What he did to the boy, he was sure that he wouldn't be bothering Xantha again. But that didn't garneted that it wouldn't start all over. He pondered on her answer when she asked him about his stalkers. He gave a smile and a shrug. "Mostly by avoiding them, security around me is made aware of who they are and what they look like. My manager takes care of most of it. But sometimes I have to lay low and avoid the public eye for a time to let things blow over." It was no secret that he had a bad reputation, but it was one that was lessened by the media thanks to the tireless work of Charlotta, his aunt and manager. She worked hard to ensure that the public didn't realize exactly what he did normally. "The main solution seems to simply be to ensure the furthest distance between them. And trying to spot them quickly." He gave a heavy sigh. "That's sometimes easier said than done. Some you can see it in their eyes, while others....well, you get it., you don't realize it until it's bad."
It didn't take long for their food to come out. Emrys was one of their best customers, and they knew that good food, including sweets, and great service was key to keeping him happy. And the happier he was with them, the more he would give.

His answer was about what she expected.... security detail. She'd never be able to afford something like that so his ways of staying out of trouble certainly wouldn't help her stay safe at all. Not to mention that lay low and keep out of trouble wasn't a tactic she was particularly good at. She was the the sort to be unable to avoid confrontation it seemed. She could be very opinionated and didn't often back down from something after making up her mind on it. All in all it was a very dangerous combination and while it had gotten her some positive things (like her job) it also came with getting in all sorts of trouble. With pride added to that mixture? Well Xantha's life was never really boring.
He seemed to have had more stalkers than her. Crazy in their eyes made a lot of sense, but she'd never seen that in David. He'd seemed like a regular guy at first and it wasn't until it was too late that she'd realised that being nice and polite to him were not really having the desired effect at all. It was a bit troubling, but she was not about to give up her dreams and career for sake of a manchild that couldn't take no for an answer. Determination was key, but it seemed like he took that too far. Xantha was just glad that entire thing seemed to be over now. She had no idea what Emrys had done exactly but she was certain that she didn't actually want to know. Ignorance was bliss in situations like this. Xantha wasn't a naturally curious person. She didn't have a compulsive need to know everything like some others did. She was fine with being in the dark and knew that sometimes it was a lot better than knowing the truth. She certainly would have been happier not knowing her dad had cheated, although she doubted that would have saved the marriage between him and her mother. Still, knowing that hadn't helped at all, it seemed to just have made things worse.
Their food arrived and boy oh boy did it smell good. Xantha wasn't sure if she wanted to dig in and stuff her face or savour the moment to truly enjoy the plate of food set in front of her. Both seemed equally appealing so she bit her lip even as she cut into the meat, her eyes hungrily devouring everything on the plate. An actual healthy meal, and by her standards super luxurious. She took a bite and chewed, closing her eyes as she smiled to herself. She was in food heaven. After a moment she continued to slice her meat and looked at Emrys. "This is delicious..." She muttered, a peculiar kind of exuberance on her face. It had been long since she'd had a decent and proper meal like this so she wanted to fully enjoy it.

Emrys was glad that Xantha didn't seem curious about what he had done. Well, even if she had asked, he wouldn't have told her. She was better off not knowing. Their conversation was present, and soon the food arrived. He smiled as he watched the girls face. With a smile, he saw her cut into the meat and take her first bite. After that, he too started to dig into his own plate. The joy on her face and in her voice was reward enough, he chuckled as she stated her feeling on how it tasted. "That's why I keep coming back" He agreed.
The meal was enjoyed mostly in silence. Emrys being sure to let Xantha fully enjoy every flavor, even letting her try some of his food as she wished. The good was rich, flavorful, and all cooked to perfection. And in time, all plates were polished off, and their stomachs full. "Should we get dessert here, or perhaps have some elsewhere?"

The food was delicious and Xantha found herself constantly torn between eating fast because she felt like she'd been starving for years (which was close enough to true) and needing to savour every single bite, no matter how small. She ended up eating rather paced, since she didn't want to risk eating too fast and actually getting sick because of that. It wouldn't be worth it. So she tried her best not to eat too fast and just enjoy the meal as if this wasn't the first proper meal she'd been able to enjoy in years. She didn't really want Emrys to see the ugly side of life, as he didn't seem too suited to it as a rich guy. She had a feeling he'd be able to deal with it much better than most, but that didn't mean she was ready to show just how difficult things were for her from time to time. It was pride, most certainly, That got in the way. Yet not only pride, plenty of other things too that she was just scared of. Worried he might not treat her the same or that he'd suddenly see her as somebody to feel sorry for. That was the last thing she wanted. It would be better if he decided this poor girl was below his standands and that he wouldn't want to see her again. That was at least less patronising.
The end of the meal came and Xantha felt full. Not stuffed, but full nonetheless. She'd even had a few tiny bites to taste his food and it had been as good as her own. If this was what it was like to have money, she wouldn't have minded having a better job. Still, she knew she wouldn't be happy, not even surrounded by riches like this an a good meal every single night. No, her freedom was more important. By quite a long shot. As Xantha was slightly distracted, thinking over the meal they'd just had and the events of the night so far, Emrys asked her if she wanted to have dessert here or elsewhere. She smiled slightly, almost bemused as if she was in a haze. Dessert? Now that had been long ago. She looked at him almost sluggishly. "Uhm...." She said, shaking herself from her reverie. "I'm fine with either, but dessert does sound quite good. If there is some place that has better dessert than here that's all fine by me too." She answered, feeling rather detached from reality. It was distracted to have a situation that was so utterly normal. Normal to most, but quite rare to her. She then looked Emrys in the eye. "Did you want to take the usual entertainment after?" She asked, a smirk tugging on the corners of her lips. She was utterly detached from her own reality but she knew this was a high she could float on until her stomach was empty again at least.

Xantha seemed dazed in her blissful state of eating and after. Emrys brought up dessert and it took a moment for her to answer. She seemed to like the idea of dessert, and it made him grin as she mentioned places, here had good dessert, but that wasn't what he was exactly going for. Though Emrys was always in the mood for desserts. He leaned closer to her, propping himself on the table, speaking softly as the waitress made their way to their table. "There's a hotel near by here with the most amazing dessert menu." She then also mentioned their normal entertainment. Taking that as a decision he turned as the waitress arrived. "Charge my account." She nodded and blushed as he winked at her. Not giving her much time to speak after that, he moved to stand. "I think we can get both of those arranged elsewhere." He said, offering her his hand. His grin was excited and ready, almost like a child, but much more suggestive.

Perhaps it was strange, but Xantha enjoyed seeing Emrys casually flirt with the waitress and the blush that soon after painted her cheeks pink. She forced herself to hold back a grin, looking down with a small smile that was unable to be stopped from creeping on her lips. Emrys was wild and completely untamed and untethered and they did not even live in the same universe. Xantha didn't care which random twists of fate had landed them on these rickety rails that ran through life but she was glad for the experience. The poor waitress didn't get much time of day from Emrys, and Xantha almost felt sorry for her. Yet Emrys distracted her from the waitress soon enough, offering her his hand with a grin on his face that was one of the most tempting things in the world. It was asking for problems but Xantha was ready to get in far greater trouble than that which he so gladly offered. She smirked as she took his hand and got up from the table in one smooth motion. "You're going to have to make suggestions on desserts though. I wouldn't know what to order." Mostly because she didn't often eat sweets and definitively didn't have a dessert budget with her funds.

There were many who felt as though they could still his feral behaviors, an many of them who tried. Lovers, strangers, family. But it was not to be done. He had a job that allowed him to do what he wanted when he wanted, and a home that he was free to come and go as he pleased. Emrys followed his own rules in life and rarely cared about any consequences. He preferred to live in the present. Xantha took his hand with a smirk of her own. One that said that she was ready for everything he was suggesting. She mentioned him having to help her with deserts, and he chuckled, pulling her close as they left the restaurant. "That wont be a problem."
As promised, there was a nice hotel not far from where they were. They too seemed to know Emrys, and it didn't take long for him to get a room. Once there, he pulled up a menu and ordered a number of sweets, all of which Xantha was free to try. The two enjoyed their luxurious deserts and surroundings to its fullest, and eventually found themselves in positions that were all too familiar to them, feeling the others skin pressed against their own, their lips feverishly and hungrily going at each other.
