'Cause I feel like I can do anything when My head is spinning and my feet off the ground When I can't stop dancing like no one's around 17 JANUARY 2026 The final semester at Hogwarts had started, and it was only a few more months before the youngest of the Bainbridge siblings graduated. Peyton and her three sisters were the last of the bunch to walk the halls of Hogwarts and graduate, and Peyton couldn't be more excited to see what the world brought her. She wasn't sure exactly what she wanted to do when she graduated, though she had offered the idea of staying on at her current job. She originally wanted to stick around with doing something that dealt with charms, but the minute she got her part-time job, she had decided to do that instead. Becoming a vet, taking care of magical animals sounded like a dream come true for the young blonde. The young blonde walked through the snow-covered streets of Hogsmeade, taking in the sights of everything. Ever since that dragon attack, life had gone back to normal here in this quaint little town. Even a few new shops had opened up, and she had been eyeing that pizza place for some time now. And now, with the first of the Hogsmeade visits upon them, she questioned if she wanted to go. Pizza or tea and deserts, that was what her mind constantly challenged. If Penelope or Persephone had been with her, she might have asked for their opinion on the matter. But she was wandering by herself, separated from the few friends that she had been walking with. One went this way, two went that way, until eventually, Peyton walked the streets alone, her yellow scarf swaying in the winter wind. MADE BY VEL OF GS

the night is cold but the sun will rise January 17, 2026 @peytonbainbridge Walking through Hogsmeade didn’t bring the same mixed emotions it used to. As a student, Diana had always enjoyed walking down to the village with her sisters and her friends to enjoy a butterbeer or throw some snowballs at Cara. After she had graduated, merely stepping foot on the cobblestoned paths would bring a sinking feeling to her stomach, but over the past almost two years, she’d been working to keep that anxiety at bay. Guilt wasn’t something that lingered for long, and that sinking feeling wasn’t one she’d felt in some time. Walking through the village, she still remembered the smoke and fire the dragons had caused and her part in it, but that memory didn’t elicit much emotion.
Since that unbreakable vow, Diana had been forced to learn how to survive and that had meant Occlumency training—not that it had really been her choice. As an unwilling participant with a weak mind, she’d been forced to put up those walls. During that time, she’d learned to let go of what weighed her down emotionally, and those feelings of guilt melted away. The thought of how she’d avoided Kinsey for the better part of a year, acting as though she was insignificant and didn’t matter as well as pulling away from the triplets. The hardest had been detaching herself from her life-long best friend: her twin, Cara. While she wasn’t emotionless, she wasn’t the same at all. She still remembered memories fondly but was quick to not let her mind wander too often. She adjusting the black scarf around her neck, it was cold, and she strolled through the crowds of children that had come down from the school.
Of course, her work would take her here on this weekend. The only concern was running into someone she knew since it hadn’t been that long since she’d graduated or one of her sisters. Spotting an empty alleyway, she slipped in and walked quickly through. From her perspective, the other side was empty, meaning the walkway wasn’t full of students there. But as soon as she exited, she almost collided with someone. Diana’s jet-black hair whipped around as the book she’d been holding fell out of her hands and onto the cobblestone path. ”Excuse me.” She spoke simply, turning to see who had just appeared right in front of her, and she paused. The blonde hair and face she instantly recognized. There was no sinking feeling in her stomach, but she also had not expected this. While her own hair color might have been out of the ordinary and the change to her nose and brow, her family would know.

'Cause I feel like I can do anything when My head is spinning and my feet off the ground When I can't stop dancing like no one's around Figuring out what to do with her day at Hogsmeade on her own was not how she saw this day going. It would have been easier if she had been with her friends, but they had gotten separated from the Bainbridge girl. And her sisters were somewhere in the crowd of people, probably going about their day with no problems. The blonde continued to walk, talking under her breath as she attempted to argue the pros and cons between each option. And it was then that she almost crashed into someone, their voice somewhat familiar. She stepped back, or rather, she stumbled back from the person that had appeared before her. Had she been that oblivious? She looked at them, "Sorry," she breathed. The voice sounded familiar, and yet, the face...She looked at them like a person looking at a ghost. There was a sense of familiarity, and yet, there were differences. She squinted at the person, wrinkling her nose, "Diana?"MADE BY VEL OF GS

the night is cold but the sun will rise January 17, 2026 @peytonbainbridge Diana paused. She wasn’t sure what to say and especially when the blonde questioned if it was, in fact, Diana. Much like the siblings could easily tell the triplets apart, it was easy for them to spot Diana. From what had been described, it was a feeling. Her nose could change shape, and so could facial features and hair color, but her eyes didn’t change. It would take a Polyjuice Potion to completely disguise her. So, naturally, she’d hoped that she wouldn’t be recognized, but after pausing for a moment too long, it was probably too late.
Peyton was alone, she’d expected Penelope and Persephone to be nearby, but Diana hadn’t planned on seeing them so soon. It had crossed her mind—but in the sense of keeping up appearances. She still had much apprehension about hiding so much and not being able to explain her long absences and her cold behavior. ”Peyton.” She finally spoke, her voice coming out softer than she’d anticipated. ”Erm—your sisters nearby?” It was good that she had finished her work for the day, or she might have needed a moment to compose herself before.
