The excitement that came with talking to new shopkeepers was always a feeling Nova couldn't get over. In a way, she wondered if it would be the same way when she ultimately took over the bakery. While essentially a Horizont Alley staple by this point in her life (only second to Jimbo), the bakery eventually going under new management would sort of be like a brand new chapter in its life. Already knowing the ropes and the customer base, it thankfully wouldn't be like starting from scratch like Honey was. Being handed the keys was definitely less stressful though, and she was sort of thankful that when that day came, it wouldn't be like she was being tossed right in without a life preserver. In a way, it was such an admirable accomplishment to be able to do that by oneself too, so she enjoyed seeing the success of the newer shops in the alley.
Checking her wristwatch, Nova realized a lot more time had elapsed than she realized. As much as she would have enjoyed standing around looking at cats and kneazles all day, that wasn't exactly feasible. With the afternoon rush and return of families from dropping their kids off at the station, they were bound to get some sort of influx of customers. While Decima could absolutely handle it all on her own, Nova didn't want to leave it all to her aunt. "I have to get back to work, but it was a pleasure meeting you, Honey. If you have any questions about the area, just stop by and my aunt or I can help answer them." Waving goodbye, Nova quickly hurried out of the cat cafe before getting second thoughts on wanting to pet several of them. Her own cat would be jealous, after all.
