Isabeau had had it up to here with her dormmates. She regularly spent as much time out of their as she could. If she wasn't in the library being irritated by @julian , she was generally moping around the castle elsewhere, just to be out and away from them. There was rowdy ones, messy ones, downright annoying ones. And then there was the triplets that had their own way of doing things that just irritated her to no end.

Tonight was a rarer night when she was forced to be in the dorm rather than out of it. There had been a crackdown on curfew recently due to some goings on in and outside the school and tensions were high with all of them in on top of each other where usually they wouldn't be.

"Ugh.." turning a page in her book as she lounged on her bed in the far corner (she had chosen well in first year, wanting to be far away from everyone). She had been trying to concentrate but the noise had reached another crescendo once again. Yes it was quiet than the main common room with everyone now forced to be in and accounted for, but it was by no means peaceful. Part of her was almost reflecting wistfully on the scheduled evenings with Julian she had actually grown accustomed to in the library. She paused, half looking over the top of her book and wondered should she go and try find him.

The triplets were without a doubt seen as weird and out of place no matter where they went. Not even the ones in their house seemed to be able to fully appreciate them. Phoebe was the most cotton candy type of Slytherin that seemed to roam the castle and the lot of them didn't seem to keen on her bright and bubbly personality. Selene herself was also quite different form most, although it was more because she seemed to hold up different viewpoints than most. Cunning and ambition were all fine, but her priorities were in keeping her family together and ensuring she did what was best for her siblings. Of all triplets it was without a doubt Luna that fit the Slytherin bunch best, and Selene was well aware. The point was that she didn't care about standing out or fitting in. She was unapologetically herself and encouraged her sisters to be the same.

The earlier curfew meant the girls were more likely to head to their dorm early. Selene had been studying some of her music sheets while working on knitting some tea cozies. They were somewhat fun at least and kept her hands busy while her mind memorised the notes. She would have chosen to play the harp itself if not for the other girls that were also forced to bed earlier. She heard the annoyed and frustrated noise from the bunk of one of the least social ones and opened the curtains to her bed and stepped out, walking over to the other girl. She looked at the other girl critically, crossing her arms, the needles for now abanded on her bed behind her. "Isabeau.... I know the curfew is irriting to all of us but.. should I get you a cup of tea or some biscuits? People don't usually sleep well on an empty stomach, you know." She reminded the other girl, knowing full well she might bite her head off for the mere suggestion. Yet Selene could hardly help herself. She sought to assist in some way and if Isabeau wanted to make passive agressive complaints she would see to some passive agressive ways to help the girl deal with her frustrations in a more productive way. Like doing patrols or whatever.

Luna, wearing her ever present frown, slouched into her dormitory. She didn't understand why she and her fellow rule abiders had to suffer from an earlier curfew when there was a select few Gryffindors who were the real problems. She was a responsible young woman. She only ever sometimes coerced younger students into finishing her homework for her. And even that was a rare occasion. Luna shouldn't be lumped in with the rest of them! She supposed it was fine though, as she mostly spent time with her sisters anyways. Unless she was sucking up to Addy or Kaylee, for their positions of power could prove useful to the middle Trelawney girl.

Isabeau and Selene were already there, Selene saying something about biscuits. Luna scoffed. "You're wasting your breath, Leni. She won't listen to you," said Luna, shooting a smirk Isabeau's direction. She knew she ought to get into Isabeau's good books but... she just made it so hard by being so unlikable. Especially since she had practically snatched the prefects badge out from under Luna's nose. Luna's nostrils flared in a burst of sudden anger, before she settled herself. "Where's Phoebe?" asked Luna, directing her attention to Selene and crossing her arms impatiently. "She said she would clean up this mess of cat fur before bed tonight. How will I be able to get any rest with eyes red as if Simon Svendsen had something to do with it."

The school seemed to be on tighter 'lockdown' these days. It made Lulu wonder if something had happened for them to have to crack down so hard. Either way, she hated having her freedoms taken away. She already got caught once earlier in the week trying to sneak away from the dungeons and into the music room by a Prefect, which earned her a detention, so she decided to retire to the girls dormitory like she was supposed to tonight.

About ten minutes before curfew, Lulu made an exchange with one of her Puff friends who traded her Cauldron Cakes in an exchange of her repotting some plants in Herbology for them. Lulu wasn't that great at Herbology, but she loved Cauldron Cakes, so she agreed. Which resulted to a bag full of her favorite treat. So many she couldn't fit them under her bed anymore with all of the other random shit she had.

The purple haired snake sauntered into the room, shoving a half eaten Cauldron Cake into her mouth.   "Heeey bitches" she greeted in a sing song tone before seeing who was in the room first. "This lockdown is a real drag, huh..." Lulu plopped herself onto her bed luxuriously like a Renaissance painting as she chomping into another cake. "Anyone want a Cauldron Cake?" she asked the room,  "I got plenty, I won't make you compliment me, or do any favors this time around." Lulu joked passively as she flung a Cauldron cake at a very grumpy looking Isabeau sitting in the corner bed with a book. The packaged treat ricocheted off of the book and onto the bed.

The fact Selene approached her was somewhat surprising. Isabeau was hardly the approachable type, but then, she supposed she was the middle ground of the Trelawney triplets. Where Phoebe was the actual fluffy bunny of the trio and Luna was the raging bitch. Selene was the one Isa had never quite been able to work out. Not overly nice, but grouchy enough that they weren't exactly friends. Now she was standing over her and offering her tea and biscuits, Isa was just plain confused. With a slight frown, she had been about to come up with some sort of excuse to fob Selene off, but it seemed Luna was going to do that for her. Once she had been all but brushed off, she raised an eyebrow, looking between LUNA LACHESIS TRELAWNEY & @selene . She knew she could be difficult at times but she wasn't as much as a bitch as everyone made her out to be, she just wasn't exactly social.

At the mention of simon sixten svendsen Isa perked up just slightly. They hadn't seen too much of each other recently, but it was hard to forget the New Years Eve they'd spent together.

Too bad she didn't have too long to think on that thought though, suddenly her book was knocked out of her hand by an errant cauldron cake. In disbelief she looked up, eyes wide, to find out who the culprit was. None other than lulu anne blishwick , of course it was her. Taking a deep breath in she had been about to lose the head and reprimand her, but then she remembered she actually quite likes Cauldron Cakes and it had been becoming hard to ignore that growl in her stomach. Skipping dinner had been indeed a bad idea, but hey it was done and over with now. Maybe she could hit up Lulu for even more food. Raising an eyebrow she looked back to Lulu and began to open the plastic packaging.

"Thanks I guess." Forcing out a tight smile she began to nibble hesitantly on the cauldron cake.

Luna shot Lulu a glance, her nose wrinkled in disgust. Lulu drove her mad - not only was she constantly rumpled, but her name was so similar to Luna's and she didn't appreciate the Blishwick girl encroaching on that. "I'll pass, thanks. Cauldron cakes aren't exactly on the prescribed diet for quidditch plays," said Luna loftily. At best, she tolerated Lulu due to her being the keeper for the quidditch team. She was a good player, there was no denying that, but Lulu often seemed more focused on having fun rather than winning the match. That was something Luna simply couldn't tolerate.

Luna pulled her short blonde hair into a messy bun, keeping it off her face as she shifted on her bed. "This lockdown is ridiculous. Why should we be punished when we've done nothing wrong," said Luna with a frown. She eyed Isabeau as she peeled back the wrapping on the cauldron cake. "Be careful with that - knowing Blishwick, she's added some rogue potion or firewhisky to those," said Luna knowledgeably. She wasn't exactly adverse to those ideas, but it was a school night and they had Quidditch practice tomorrow. Addy had booked the pitch almost every day - she was a good captain after all. Much better than that American girl who dropped out. Good riddance.

Phoebe had lost track of time. She had been in the kitchen for quite a while, talking with the house elves, making friends, and baking. She insisted to help clean up her mess, even though some of them reminded her of the curfew. It was the right thing to do. While she left some of her baked goods as a thank you to the small creatures, the girl smiled and waved her goodbyes. Leaving the kitchen she skipped on her marry way to her dorm. Yes, a prefect stopped her. She apologized, explaining that it was hard to know what time it was when you were having so much fun. She then offered the student an object in her basket as a treat, then went along back to her dorm.

Uttering the passwords, she walked into the dimly let common room. Taking time to offer her sweets to any student who would acknowledge her there. Once done, she headed to where she knew her sisters to be. The girl bouncily took the stairs to the sixth year girls dorm. Walking in with a sunshine smile on her face. "Hi girls." She beamed. Knowing her sisters, or at least one of them, would ask her where she had been, she looked at them, wide eyed. "I couldn't find you two anywhere. So, I went to the kitchen and made cookies." The two things, in her mind, were undoubtedly linked. She then stretched out her arm to present the basket with chocolate chip cookies in it. "Anyone want any."

Luna was a killjoy as always. She really had trouble seeing the positive sides to befriending others it seemed. Of all three she was really the most difficult one, but quite possibly the exactly influence the other two needed to keep their feet grounded in reality.. and the present time. Selene did have the patience of an angel in dealing with her sister most of the time. She shrugged. "You know plenty of charms to clean it up yourself." She reminded her sister with a shrug. "Not to mention Simon is a perfectly nice boy. At least he didn't harm the sweater I gave him for Christmas last year." She said with a rather pointed look, despite her polite tone.

Lulu came in with her usual chaotic energy and Selene smiled slightly, her eyes lighting up in delight. "How very generous of you." She said with a smile before taking one of the offered cauldron cakes and meticulously and patiently opening the packaging before taking a bite. "I don't mind compliments if I get sweets in return. I'm pretty sure a compliment costs me much less than give than a cauldron cake costs you." She said with a playful wink.

Isabeau seemed to have very little to say, which was fine to Selene. She was the kind to worry but tried not to fuss too much over those she wasn't actually friends with. She just considered Isabeau a possible friend, if the two decided to give it a go. Unlike Luna, Selene was more inclined to see people as possible friends. Stranger were only strangers until they met after all. At that point they already were acquiantences, which proved just how fast things could really go. All it took was the right circumstances after all!

Luna went on a second stint of rudeness, complaining and accusing in the same breath. "Luna, if Lulu had spiked the cakes with anything that would only prove the professors have a point in setting a curfew. You can't say there is no reason and in the next breath accuse somebody of giving them a reason." She chided her gently and patiently as always as she took another bite. "Besides, a few calories every once in a while are good for the body. Although I'd prefer them after a match." She said thoughtfully after a moment of staring at the sugary delight.

Then Phoebe came in with the smell of cookies and Selene grinned widely as she considered her tea set from her beside table and proceeded to make tea. Tea, freshly baked cookies and cauldron cakes... this was pretty much a party. "Did you manage to catch news of that lockdown on were you just accidentally on time?" Selene asked her sister curiously, no judgement in her voice. She didn't care all that much either way. "Would anybody like some tea with their baked goods? I don't have fresh milk but I have something close enough. Not to mention several flavours of tea for those that don't prefer the regular blend. I'm rather partial to fruity flavours myself." She said as she got the cups and saucers out while she heated the tea. Was it smart? Maybe not, but Selene just liked tea a little too much to care.

Lulu offered Isa a smile when she took the Cauldron Cake and slowly took a nibble, she chomped into her own. Then, Luna had to chime in her negative input. There was a split second Lulu was going to say something snarky back to her, but the night had only just begun, and she didn't want to hear from Addy again about it since she was a teammate. Things had often been tense between the two girls and seemingly intensified when Arlo was brought into the mix. The thought of Arlo flirting with another girl made her feel very jealous which was stupid, considering he wasn't hers to claim, and she was still mad at him. Luna had been deemed the 'evil' triplet out of the clone bunch years before the Lion came along. "More for us then." Lulu scrunched her nose at Luna, forcing a fake smile.

Thank Merlin, Phoebe came in with cookies to ease the tension. The smell alone calmed her. "Welcome to the party, Phoebe." she greeted the third sister, nodding along fervently with Selene when she defended her and her beloved Cauldron Cakes. Probably too ecstatic that she was enjoying a treat with her. "That's the spirit!" she exclaimed happily. "I'd rather waste 'spiked goods' on a willing participant anyways." she chimed in, ending with a dark chuckle. Tonight wouldn't be the night, sadly.

She quietly savored her treats as the girls lightly conversed. Her thoughts stuck on stupid Arlo, again.

Lulu wasn't a fan of tea but she would oblige more to be on the other two Trelawney sisters' side. "Oooh, I'll have tea however you take it. Thank you, Selene." she smiled sweetly. Lulu kicked off her shoes so she could sit crossed legged on her bed, "I wonder if Nessa will show up before curfew." she commented more offhandedly as she glanced at her bed, tossing a sealed Cauldron Cake on her roommates comforter.

Plucking at the wrapper with her perfectly painted fingertips, what LUNA LACHESIS TRELAWNEY had said was playing on the edges of her mind. Maybe she ought to be a little more careful. Maybe they were spiked. But then again, what's the worst that could happen? she lay down in her bed and went to sleep. Maybe firewhiskey was what she needed to pass the time right now. "I'll take my chances. I'm too hungry to say no." Giving lulu anne blishwick her best attempt at a smile, she mumbled, her lips still tight. "If you have any firewhiskey I'll take that too." They were locked in, why not try and have some fun maybe? Usually she never gave these girls the time of day, it wasn't worth getting involved with them really, and now she wasn't quite sure why she was. But it wasn't like she had much else to be doing was it?

When @phoebe made the presence of her cookies known, Isa couldn't help but quirk an eyebrow. Her stomach was growling, and the cookies did smell good. However she was already tenderly chewing on the Cauldron Cake Lulu had provided; she couldn't go for both and be a total pig, right? No. She'd wait till later. Till it wouldn't be as noticeable. She gave Phoebe and @selene the same weary attempt at a smile she had given Lulu "I'll try one in a while maybe, and some tea" Not that she was completely sold on tea, but she didn't want to be a total bitch to them both. If she was stuck with them for the evening it would make it a little more bearable if she made some attempt to be friendly with them. Unlike Luna was.


After that she wasn't quite sure what else to say. Her quiet side took over and she simply shifted on her bed to kick off her shoes and curl her legs under her. It was easier to slip into her silent habit of observing interactions rather than joining in as she took in what was going on between the others, while finishing up the last of her cauldron cake.
