They had arrived at the little camping site during the evening. After setting up the ridiculously expensive tent as dusk settled in slowly Xantha had gone to start a fire and get dinner going while Emrys went off to explore the area, whatever he meant by that. Xantha honestly couldn't care less as she was in her element. It had been a very long time since she'd last gone camping but she remembered exactly what she needed to do things like... prepare for dinner. It was a matter of getting a small fire going and since the weather was particularly nice for the season, unexpectely so. Starting the fire had been easy and by now it was happily spewing sparks in the little fire pit as she had wrapped some potatoes in foil to bake them and had set up a small metal grid in order to cook the meat. It took a while but she got the meat cooking and it smelt great. She clearly hadn't lost her skill just because she was a little out of practise. Besides, luxury meat was by now such a rarity for her that the sheer thought of ruining it kept her attention perfectly focussed on the task at hand. It was hardly a three star restaurant meal but she knew it was the best she could do. She was feeling quite pleased with herself as she put the finishing touches on the meal, expecting Emrys to pop his head out from the trees somewhere. She also had put the marshmellows and cookies ready in order to make some smores and had put some other fun things to grill ready as well. She'd packed a pineapple since that made a fun dessert and had gotten some whipped cream and chocolate in order to fully complete the snack. At least Emrys didn't have to be shy for good food to eat, even if he might see it as too simple. He'd have to deal with it for these days. Xantha leaned back for a moment as she got the meat off the fire and on to a plate. She carefully retrieved the potatoes as she heard the sound of what she figured had to be Emrys approaching. She smiled slightly as she used her utensils to open up the aluminium foil and put a potatoe on each of their plates. It was very much campfire food, but she was certain it'd taste just fine. She looked up at the twinkling light of the stars, somewhat surprised at how fast time had gone for the dark to already be out. The pair was hardly used to a fixed sleeping schedule so Xantha didn't think much of it. It was likely enough they'd be busy entertaining each other most of the night and from what she understood Emrys liked sleeping in. Maybe she could try fishing or something while he was sleeping. "You're just in time. I just finished the food." She said as she looked at the approaching man with a smile. This was going to be a good weekend. @emrys

Camping wasn't the vampire celebrities favorite activity. But it did promise to be fun and quite engaging. The sun was low when they arrived at the camp site. Emrys drew his hood and ensured that he remained in shaded areas. The camp site was set up in a clearing, but also in a way that would assure as much protection form the sun as possible. He was careful.
Once everything was set up and the fire had been lit, Emrys wondered off. As the sun disappeared against the horizon, he was free to investigate the area. He preferred to know his surroundings. Being a celebrity, he had to ensure he knew what was around. Insisting to be left alone, with no body guards, he was left to defend himself. This wasn't a challenge for him, though he'd much prefer to not fight. Their camp site was secluded, but it did seem as though they weren't the only ones.
In time, Emrys returned to their location, finding Xantha by the fire, the smell of food was in the air. He gave the girl a smile as she mentioned that food was ready. Emrys wasn't one who enjoyed sitting around and waiting. He took a seat and looked at what she had prepared. "Looks great." He spoke of the food, but looked at her in that special seductive way that he was oh so good at.

Emrys was quite the seducer and if it wasn't for the overly fancy food and the delicious smells coming off the meal she'd been preparing she'd most certainly have risked burning it for the sake of indulging his .. naughtier side. As it was, she felt as though she was starving and did not want to risk ruining such an excellent cut of meat so she merely smiled, a knowing twinkle in her eyes. "I kept your stake on the rare side, but I can throw it back for a moment if you want it well done. I have them resting currently. I personally prefer my steak more on the bloody side when it comes to options so both of them ought to be fine to me." She said as she motioned towards the two packages of aluminum foil that were lying on a nearby plate. Then she motioned towards a small pile of potatoes that she'd baked with her stick. "Potatoes. I have several options. Garlic butter, regular butter and an unnamed sauce, no garlic, that my mom used to make. It's more of a mixture with a few herbs, it's a little more light. I'll probably take most of them." The mention of garlic was perhaps a little cheeky but with his entire sunlight hating, red contact lenses thing she wouldn't even be surprised if he refused to eat garlic and wear silver or be near crosses or whatever. Stage persona or not, she'd never seen him break character on that front. Maybe he needed some therapy but she wasn't exactly going to suggest that. She knew too well that she herself needed plenty of therapy and was completely unwilling to ever visit a counsellor, even if court ordered.
Then again, she felt like she did have to ensure he knew she was just putting off the fun till later. "You know, once we've eaten enough we can always entertain other ways to pass the time, if you're so inclined. There's a nice lake at walking distance so a moonlit swim can be rather nice. Plus there are a few trail for hiking if you hadn't come across those on your stroll. I mean, they technically are hunting trails in a few cases but there is very little that could actually harm us around." Still, she found it better to ensure Emrys was well informed. If not for his own sake then at least for sake of not getting him into any trouble that would get her torn limb from limb later on. It was part of the precarious thing of befriending somebody that a lot more people had a vested interest in. If she got herself killed a very small number of people would care. If he got hurt and she got away it would be half a witch hunt to those that felt she wronged them. Celebrity lives were odd like that, even if she didn't care left or right about what other people thought. In the end it was far more about what she herself was interested in after all. She was relatively selfish by nature and not really inclined to change that. If something didn't benefit her there was little interest in doing it either way. If not getting involved was in the best interest of somebody she was more than willing to help out, on the other hand. It meant less effort for a higher payout, which would never be a waste.
"So what would you prefer?" She asked Emrys as she plated the basics for him and looked at him expectantly, clearly expecting some sort of answer from him.

Emrys had no experience in the kitchen. Sure, his mother had tried, but he just never cared to pay attention. It was nice that his camping companion was different. From the smell alone, it promised to be great. She mentioned keeping his meat rarer than cooked and he shrugged. He was fine with that, though the slightly cooked animal blood did little to satisfy his thirst for blood. "Bloody doesn't bother me." He stated. It was clearly commenting on how the girl prefers her meet, but it was said in a way that seemed to mean anything but. He had leaned up against a tree in quite a suggestive manor as he observed the scene in front of him.
The girl mentioned garlic, and he pulled a bit of a face. He was sure she did that on purpose. To her, a muggle girl, he was a celebrity with a vampiric persona, one that he took very seriously. He gave a bit of a nervous chuckle as he moved closer, sitting himself close by. "In fact, I actually have a slight allergy to garlic. A little wont kill me, but best I leave that to you." Was it because he's a vampire? Yes. It wasn't something that he brought up too much. Emrys was the type to prefer to focus on the ups, and ignore the down. He had no problem with her eating it, just as long as he doesn't.
Emrys looked at the fire, he enjoyed the crackling and popping of the wood. Though his interest was peaked when she mentioned entertaining themselves. She knew that the vampire had a nocturnal time table. He gave a wicked grin as she spoke. While he explored, he had noticed some hiking trails, but hadn't seen a lake. "A swim would be nice." He commented, knowing full well that he didn't bring any swimming trunks, but also not caring. Moon light swims rarely had clothing involved, at least in his opinion. "How about we swim tonight, and tomorrow we can go on some hikes just after the sun sets." That would give them more time to explore the woods. But just because he was helping to plan some out of tent activities that didn't mean that the two wouldn't spent plenty of time together inside.

Xantha smiled slightly, since Emrys and his vampire stuff was highly amusing to her. Vampires were naturally not real but whatever sold. As long as she didn't start some weird bloody ritual on stage at one of his shows he was about as normal as she figured famous people would get. Famous people always seemed a little quirky and if acting like he was a blood sucking monster was his thing, that was fine by her. All in all she could imagine a lot worse than vampires. The entire soulless blood sucking monster thing was a little bit off putting but all in all the eternal youth and all other benefits seemed to weigh up to not eating garlic and not getting out in the sun. Her job was primarily inside anyway so she'd sell her soul for all of that. It would likely save one hell of a lot of money on the cost for food. Too bad that was at best a fantasy, since vampires were obviously not real. They couldn't be.
She opted not to give further comments about his weird beliefs he was a vampire as she didn't actually care and she definitively didn't need the details on it. She'd never left his place with puncture marks so his nibbling really wasn't a problem. She still felt safe around him, which was probably a little stupid. If she disappeared there was a decent enough chance nobody would come looking and since she wasn't the type to brag, nobody would even suspect Emrys since the two of them had no business knowing one another.
He said a swim would be nice and she nodded with a smile. She plated some food for him, including nothing with garlic, before holding the plate out to him. This was all simple enough. They could swim once they'd had a short break after eating. It was a short distance walk anyway, but not long enough to consider it enough time between eating and swimming. As long as they didn't eat too much there wouldn't be much of a problem. "Enjoy." She said as she grabbed her own plate and took a bite, smiling absently as the taste of her childhood was flooding her system. The good days, before everything had gotten ocmplicated. She took a few bites and then looked at Emrys. "Is it good?" She asked, although she hoped he wasn't going to be a spoiled brat and complain it wasn't restaurant quality food. That wasn't exactly what she did in life, after all.

In a way, it was nice that Xantha didn't know about magic or vampires. True, some things would be a lot easier. But either way, with her, he just played it off as some persona. Though he never broke character, he couldn't afford to.
The girl handed him a made up plate, and he tanked her for it. He was confident that she wouldn't give him anything with garlic, but he still watched her do it. It was a true allergy after all. The food wasn't gourmet, but it was quite good. "You're pretty good at this." He complimented as he ate, answering the question she had posted. The two ate and had some light, simple conversation.
Once they were done, they let the fire die down and smolder before they started a small hike to a beautiful moon lit lake. It was a beautiful scene, the mirrored surface untouched and reflecting the scene from the other side in the silvered light. Emrys enjoyed the scene for a moment, soaking it as like the soft start to a beautiful song.

Xantha had never really been one for small talk to begin with. Around Emrys it was even less because he had never really been that into small talk either. At first they always got straight to the point and after that they usually just had simple but light conversations. She avoided sharing about herself and he never really spoke about his personal life at all. They seemed to have some understanding that things didn't have to personal or awkward. Yet Xantha showed him so many parts of her life that she wasn't inclined to really share because she knew he wouldn't ask about them. He didn't ask and so she didn't have to worry about things getting too painful or uncomfortable for her to continue. Was it healthy? Maybe not, but that had never been much of an investment for her. Mental health wasn't something she had time or energy to involve herself in.
The fire burned to embers and eventually the embers too started to lose the warmth to reignite a fire if not watched and the pair left the campsite behind. The lake wasn't too far, but under the light of the stars it was quite a sight to be seen. With the sickle of the moon on the lake it was quite the sight to be seen and Xantha found herself smiling at the glistening lights reflected on the near mirror-like surface of the lake. Emrys too had paused and seemed to take in the sight of the lake. At the pause and the silence, Xantha briefly looked at him, taking in the strong lines that shaped his face in the moonlight. His pale complexion and his peculiar red eyes that glistened in the light of moon and stars. He was strange and Xantha felt as though a painting might simply catch his essense as easily as a statue in the quiet moments because he seemed so unchangable. There was something there that was completely immune to any sort of change and it was intimidating.
Breaking that fragment of what might have been a moment, Xantha silently walked downwards towards the water, her trained feet avoiding making quite a lot of noise on her way down. She knew forests but her many years of dancing had made her quite nimble and flexible, skills she could easily apply in other areas as well. As she arrived at the shores she kicked her shoes off, pulling her socks off her feet and lifting the hem of her pants a little so she could step into the shallow beginning of the lake. Shivering slightly at the cold kiss of the water, Xantha smiled. "It's a little cool, but not uncomfortably so." She said in a soft tone of voice, as she knew the sound would easily carry to Emrys in this silence. She stepped back a little and despite the chill she took her shirts and pants off so she could more easily wade into the water and swim. No use to have her clothes get wet and risk pneumonia.

Small talk was usually a tool that Emrys used to scope out who was most likely to enjoy a private performance. This was usually done in clubs, where the music was so loud only half of what was said was actually heard. It also helped close most gaps, starting off with friendly physical contact. But in the silence of the night, with the only sounds being those of nature, and of the crackling fire, well, he wasn't good at that. Small talk for him usually ended as soon as the other party, or parties, showed interest in what he was proposing. Xantha had never been a recipient of this, except for, possible, during their second encounter. But what transpired before that trashy hotel could just as easily been described as foreplay. There were a lot of things he had to keep from the girl. As such, he wasn't as open as he was with some of his other friends. The main factor of this, was that she was clearly muggle. And while Emrys was a lot of things, he wasn't one to break the statute of secrecy. But likewise, the girl hid a lot of her life from him. It was a mutual thing. The vampire didn't see anything wrong with their arrangement. Sometimes they talked, and opened up, if only a little, and the rest of the time, they were too busy pleasing their greedy desires.
Taking a hike in the dark was nice, and the reflective lake surface was worth the length they had trekked. The serene surroundings was almost enough to inspire a song. He'd have to lock that thought away for perhaps the next day when he was trapped in or near the tent. A short time later, he felt the gaze of Xantha, the attention almost revitalizing. Then she began moving towards the water, and he followed, knowing what was to come seemed to break the spell of inspiration.
Like the girl, he took off his shoes and socks. She took a step in and mentioned the temperature of the water. He reached a foot out, feeling it. As his body was naturally colder than your average muggles, it felt fine to him. He was quick to strip off his clothing, moving closer to her, his hand softly brushing some hair from her face, he moved in as if to kiss. His bare body moving closer to hers. But in a flash, he glinted a wicked grin and moved into the water, diving in. He moved until his body was covered, and all but his shoulders and head remained above the water as he gave a laugh as he brushed his wet hair back.

There was something completely enchanting about the scene before her. The quiet lake as reflective as a mirror as nothing seemed to touched it so the waves that the steps of her feet seemed to make reached very far before they eventually faded. As if the impact she made in this little corner of the world was bigger than she could have anticipated. As Emrys undressed and joined her, she smiled slightly. He didn't seem phased by the cold, but she hadn't expected him to be. His core temperature tended to be quite a bit lower to begin with. He brushed some hair from her face and for a split second the moment seemed as though it would end differently. As if he'd kiss her in a setting easily described as romantic. Her body betrayed her as her heart skipped a beat in anticipation, but at that same moment he dove off into the water and everything was normal again. She smiled and shook her head, moving back on to the shore to remove the remainder of her clothes before she immersed herself in the cold liquid as well.
He laughed freely as he brushed the hair from his face as the droplet caught moonlight in the short airbound moments before they rejoined the lake, becoming one with where they had come from again. Xantha dove gracefully and effortlessly, allowing the cold touch of the water to ground her and bring her back to reality rather than the odd romance novel she had seemed to find herself in earlier for just a split second. That just wasn't their story after all. They were friends with plenty of benefits between them but the idea of genuine romance was nothing if not ridiculous. She didn't trust or share enough to engage in a proper relationship and at the same time he didn't commit. He played and he moved on, that was more than obvious. Even after he'd saved her life after she got stabbed she'd known better than to ask him to stay. No, it was more likely that she'd lose the delicate friendship and fun they had if she was mad enough to make it anything more than what it was. Entertainment of the mutual kind.
So with that firmly in mind as always, she swam over to him. "Colder than I expected, but the quiet is rather nice." She said with a mischievous smile. "Imagine all the ways to break it! I'm not quite sure we'd have enough to try all of my ideas in just one evening." She teased playfully for a moment, knowing he'd understand exactly what kind of things she was thinking about in that moment. It always seemed to circle back to that between the two of them after all.

Being undressed and submerged in the water was an interesting feeling. It wasn't exactly new, but he hadn't swam in a lake like this since he got famous. He watched as he tred water as the moonlit girl undressed. His vampiric vision helped him see more details than the average wizard would in this situation. As she did, he let himself dunk back into the cold water, though it didn't cool off his thoughts. But it didn't take long for the girl to join him in the lake. It felt as though they were the only ones around.
True to the dancers training, she was even graceful diving into a cold lake. Like a magnet, he moved closer to her. There was no way he would pass up an opportunity like this. He didn't go camping very often, the girl was a mystery, and yet an open book. He knew things about her past, and knew every inch of her body well, But there were still things that she was hiding from him. It was only fair, there was plenty he was hiding from her. And true, they had gone away for the weekend, but that didn't mean that he'd limit his fun to only her, that was expecting too much. Though he'd be sure to enjoy her company as much as he could too.
Once again the two were close. Emrys knew the water was cold, but also knew that he wouldn't feel the difference as much as the muggle girl would. He flashed another wicked grin as she tempted him, mentioning how the idea of breaking such a peaceful night. He pulled her body into his, a familiar feeling changed in the water. "I think it's worth a try. Let's see if we can't heat things up a bit." He said as he pressed his mouth against hers, moving his hands and arms around her so they were closer to one. after a passionate few moments he parted from the girl, but only just. "For this moment, I'm yours. Anything you want, I'll do." He wasn't new to the idea of keeping things interesting by adding or changing dynamics. Emrys was often quite aggressive, going after what he wanted, but why not change some things up?

Moments, that was all she could steal from him. All that was worth stealing to begin with. She didn't want to share in his fame or money, nor did she want to steal his heart just to have her own broken. They were better this way, no strings attached. He was free to do as he pleased and every once in a while she was part of his entertainment. Too much exposure to sunlight caused severe burns after all. He was almost like a sun and sometimes she felt as though she was in orbit around him when it was just the two of them. It was dangerous because he always made it feel like he had eyes for nobody but her when they were alone. It was dangerous, because it made the casual part of their relationship feel a lot less casual. It was why she didn't really like hugs or casual kisses. They were casual little white lies that others probably relished in, but they just made her feel ill at ease. She was nothing special to him, so it was easier not to be treated as if she was.
He suggested heating things up and kissed her passionately for a moment. She felt the familiar dizzyness as he pulled away and smirked slightly. "You'll evaporate all the water in the lake." She chided him playfully, even though she clearly liked the idea rather much. He then offered himself to her for the moment and while her heart instantly screamed to turn dancing into foreplay of sorts she had to toss that idea. That would make the idea of casual shatter in seconds as the fact he was a musician and knew very well how to use his body meant it would feel good. She hesitated but tried to hide it by tapping her lips thoughtfully for a moment. Then she smiled slightly and shrugged. "I would love to suggest something rather naughty. I'd love a new background for my phone but I dread the idea of anybody asking questions about you. If you could be tempted we could see if we can have your silloutte against the moonlight, unrecognisable of course, framed by the reflection of the moon in the lake. I get to enjoy the visual and others would simply imagine it to be art. Now if that is too much effort I'll keep it simple and just have my way with your in the shallows of the lake." She said with a twinkle in her eyes. "But I think that's part two of the other option as well." She added with a bit of a chuckle. There was no way in heaven or hell that she wasn't going to take advantage of this situation after all.

During intimate moments, it seemed as though time slowed for Emrys. When enjoying the company of another in such a way, he felt as though he had all the time in the world to be with them. Then, once he was done, time would resume and he would go about his life. He had a feeling that there would be plenty of these moments over the next few days. What made Xantha so special, and a recent revisit, was that she didn't care about his fame, and actually insisted that he not spend money on her. She was different from many of the others he slept with. Likewise, she had no concern for the long term, the girl understood that every moment they shared was temporary. There was no attachment, no strings, and they were free to do whatever they wanted together.
After an inspiringly passionate kiss, she mentioned evaporating the lake and he flashed a fanged grin. "I'm not opposed to trying." He said, giving her another short, yet heated kiss. He offered himself to her, her whim was his delight. This wasn't an offer he gave to many, only those he trusted not to abuse it. The girl took some time to think. He was sure that she had ideas, she was just narrowing down what she wanted to do more in this instance. Starting up by stating that it would be "naughty" he chuckled. Naughty to whom? There was very few intimate things, if any, that he wouldn't do, but others would be appalled at the thought. He listened to her ideas and shrugged. "As long as my face and tattoo aren't visible, it shouldn't be a problem." He understood that as long as he wasn't recognizable in the photo, it wouldn't be a problem if it got out. "As for your second idea..." He paused, holding his breath and submerging himself, moving to kiss her stomach, and continuing to kiss up until his breached back up, and finally kissed her collar bone. Pushing hair back again. "Have at me." He said, kissing her again, wrapping an arm around him as he started to tread back closer to the shoreline.

His kisses were made of fire and she wouldn't have been surprised if the lake had started to bubble and steam. Or well, she actually would have been if it were not in a metaphorical way. It was crazy, but they seemed heated enough to at least release some steam from their bodies, although it seemed less with him. Lower body temperature, it was something she knew perfectly. He wasn't much of a space heater in the capacity that other men were. Still he was not opposed to trying to heat things up a little.
He mentioned it shouldn't be a problem as long as his face and tattoo were not visible and she chuckled as she pulled a face. "Please not. I need it to look like I found it on google while searching for something like 'silloutte naked man in moonlit lake' or whatever oddly specific search would bring up the aesthetic I'm aiming for. I don't want any questions aobut how I got it, who is in it or what my relationship to the model is. If anybody recognised you that would only make the questions worse and the last thing I need is people nagging me for saucy details on a relationship that doesn't exist." She said with an annoyed roll of her eyes. People somehow always presumed that she was after a romantic happily ever after just because they all were. She was perfectly content with the way their relationship was now, although she wouldn't have minded the idea they'd keep this bond as it was between them for a longer time. Not change it, just maintain it without wondering when the other would leave or get bored. The last thing she wanted was for things to change. This was perfect, it could only get worse from here.
How long could this man hold his breath? That was insane! Was he used to swimming long distance or something? Or just into some really kinky stuff they simply hadn't tried out yet? Either seemed equally possible with how much she knew about him, which was about nothing at all. Nothing that the rest of the world didn't know, probably. She gasped slightly and laughed in delight as he invited her to have her way with him. She didn't need to hear that twice. She took his hand and walked him to the shore and dragged him into the shallows of the water with her, lying on top of him before kissing him deeply, feeling the gentle splashes of the water play on their skin. It was the perfect incline for what she had in mind to do with him......

The connection between Emrys' body and another was always exhilarating for the vampire. Xantha was no different, but the connection he had with her didn't feel like the others. They regularly spend time together and he knew her body as well as he knew his own. Though he'd be the first to admit that she wasn't the only one like that. His lips touched her heated flesh, he could feel the blood pumping through it. His naturally cold body, familiar with sharing another's heat.
The young man was frivolous in many aspects of his life. He had the slightest amount of foresight to figure that a naked picture of him floating around the muggle world wouldn't be the best thing. He was confident that the girl wouldn't sell it, but there was more than one way to get a picture out in the world. But again, as long as his tattoo and face weren't in the picture, and no one knew that he was the man, it would be fine. He wasn't bashful, or ashamed of his body. The young vampire gave the girl his requirements and she seemed to agree. She even mentioned some strange search thing. He was sure it was some muggle thing. Though his mind was quickly taken away from that strange thought when she clearly stated that his physique was modelesque. He knew he looked good, but it was always pleasant to hear someone else say it. He smiled temptingly at the girl, wanting to take a good bite out of her right now. "a lack of questions seems optimal for both of us then." he said, drawing her closer, looking deeply into her soul. She was the only one in the world at this moment, in the cool water their only light was a kiss of moonlight. The both of them were happy with what they had, neither interested in any sort of commitment. He didn't desire a solid relationship. Emrys was perfectly happy with what he had going on. Why wouldn't he? There was also no reason to change anything.
When they were together, she was the only one in his sights. Well, almost the only one. But once they went their own ways, he did as he pleased, and he could only assume that she would do the same. They could go days, weeks, or even months without seeing each other, but once they did get together, they had their fun. And it was loud, destructive, and passionate. There were a number of things he was willing to play with. In all honesty, the things he had done with Xantha were all considered quite tame as to some other things he had done with a certain half-veela he knew. Though, if Xantha expressed interest in trying some things out, he would be game. There were very few things he hadn't tried. The vampire and the part veela had done anything that either of them wanted to try. He was open to just about anything when it came to his personal entertainment.
Other than the photograph idea, he simply said that he could have her way with him. This wasn't something he would tell just anyone. He would only say that to someone he trusted. Cradling the girls hand in his he happily let her lead him to the shore of the lake, the cold water falling off of his body. He wouldn't make any unprovoked movement. He was her toy for the time being. As instructed, he lay on the pebbled shore, feeling the disturbed lake waving from the two's movements. It didn't take long for the girl to fall on top of him, their lips once again pressing against each other. Their tongues seemed to have been choreographed a dance as the kiss deepened. His hands instinctively pressed against her legs.
Emrys didn't regret letting the girl have her way. He was open to anything, and as promised, he let her have her way. In time, they even got up and he posed for her desired picture. Once she was satisfied with the picture, and he approved it, he pulled her into him once again kissing her passionately, in a way that they had done a hundred times, though it always felt like the first. His hands graze around her exposed skin.

A lack of questions was always optimal for both of them. Actually, Xantha couldn't think up a single scenario where questions would be optimal for either of them, least of all when they were together. Questions were bothersome and stopped or delayed certain types of entertainment they both were far too eager to participate in. No, questions were not to their benefit at all, even from each other. Too many questions had this awkward consequence most of the time that one of the set would end up developing feelings for the other side that were not returned and then everything just sort of crashed and burned. She didn't want that happening. She enjoyed what they had and didn't want it to end or get complicated. As long as it worked for both of them she couldn't find any problems with it. Not that anybody on the outside would ever be able to understand it, but that was hardly her problem.
Well, maybe one thing would make it better. Emrys always seemed to see her as the one and only person in the universe when they were alone together and the only thing that preserved her sanity when she looked into his eyes at times like that was the knowledge that it wouldn't last. It unnerved her, mostly because he made her feel special and she didn't like it one bit. If she felt special around him while she obviously wasn't she knew there was a risk she'd get addicted to that feeling, hooked on the love he gave her occasionally. Not being around him was easy, as she knew perfectly well that there was nothing to lose. When she was around him, it sometimes felt like her entire universe was threatening to fall over and crash just so it could rebuild with him as foundation. That was not an okay feeling and it scared her senseless. It made her run at times, feeling nothing but relief until they ended up running into each other or reaching out again. Then the entire story started all over again. Unlike him, she couldn't fully give her soul, only to move on ten seconds later. It wasn't in her nature.
When it came to exploring, she was certainly willing to try out some more wild things. She loved the little love bites that he gave her and the rough and tumble that they entertained from time to time. It was nice when somebody noticed her slim physique but didn't treat her like she was fragile because of it. It wouldn't have been the first time that her body was literally thrown into the air and she needed to trust utterly in the person on the floor to catch her. She trusted people with her body, not her heart. She trusted Emrys not to accidentally murder her, which was really all she needed. But given an opportunity to be in control? Well she was going to make use of that. As she kissed him deeply and passionately she felt his hands press against her legs. She pulled back with a grin. "I thought you said I was in control." She muttered, playfully plucking his hands off her legs before kissing down his neck, playfully nibbling for a moment. Oh she was certainly going to have her way, which meant he was going to need quite a bit of patience, because she was in the mood to play, and torture him just a little bit.
Taking the picture had been entertaining enough, and felt oddly like an act of friendship far more than the passionate bouts between them ever did. A keepsake, in a way, which entertained her greatly. This wasn't the kind of weekend she was in the mood to forget all that quickly. He'd approved the shot she liked best and she'd deleted all the failed attempts from her phone before his eyes, so that he could be certain only one picture remained. Even if he trusted her to do so, it was far more polite to ensure both of them knew it had happened. She most certainly didn't want to be caught red handed with that sort of material on her phone. After they were satisfied, he kissed her again as he always did, sending shivers down her spine. She pulled away and chuckled. "You have more stamina than anybody I know, but I could use a bite to eat and something to drink. Perhaps a change of scenery as I'm getting just a little cold and you're not help in warming up when it comes to body heat." She teased him playfully. She honestly didn't mind, but it did mean that cuddling warm or just physical closeness wasn't going to cut it. She didn't want hypothermia, or a pneumoniae. She was fine with just the picture to remember the weekend by.
