▲ Jimbo Blishwick’s Perfectly Prepared Pizza Party at the Happily Ever After Pizza Emporium. He also didn’t have enough room on the advertisements he had handed out a few weeks earlier for sign-ups. Hundreds. That’s how many people had sent in their information to join the pizza making event. Jimbo had never seen this many people sign-up for one of his events before. It was actually insane. All the staff was on the schedule, and he had even borrowed some of the best house elf chefs from Hogwarts to assist, should the line get too long. This was the peak of his career, in his personal opinion. As the students (and quite a few adults and Ministry employees) started to filter in when the doors opened, Jimbo made sure to hand out his expertly crafted menus. It didn’t take long for him to be out of those though, and by the time he retrieved more, the line had doubled in length and was already threatening to spill out onto the streets of Hogsmeade. The giddy grin that danced across his face as he greeted as many people as he could was impossible to wipe off, and most likely wouldn’t disappear for at least another week. Both of his businesses were about to explode in popularity, and Jimbo Blishwick was ready. This was his true purpose in life. @tag ● ### ● Song by Artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0 Menu

April 18, 2026 It was hardly any surprise to Clarence that the pizza parlor that had opened up in Hogsmeade earlier in the spring was an instant hit with many of the students. Having heard that there was going to be a pizza-making event there, he figured that even he would try his hand at it. It was all in good fun, and he knew that the students would probably get a kick out of seeing him, of all people, make a pizza. Besides, from what he had heard around the castle, a lot of the students were planning to attend, so it was a good excuse to drop by and offer some additional supervision.
He arrived at the pizza parlor early on, mostly because he hadn't been there before and wanted to ensure that he knew what he was doing. The first thing that he noticed, aside from the smell of dough, was that all of the pizzas had been given puns for names. It was clever; he had to admit that, though what he had seen of Jimbo Blishwick didn't give him the world's best impression. Blishwick could have been worse, by far, but Clarence couldn't help but think him a little bit foolish for trying to capitalize on everything from matchmaking to the pizza business.

▲ Wow! Hogsmeade in the eighties was seriously missing out on having a pizza parlor like the one Jimbo Blishwick had opened. As an entrepreneur, the man was a genius. While Charlie was seriously out of the loop with how the matchmaking business worked these days, he did see the sparkling pearly whites of Jimbo in virtually every available ad space that the Prophet allowed him. Clearly that meant he was doing something right. And now there was this place. Feeling slightly out of place at the event that was being held (since the majority of the attendees were students and he typically made better use of his weekends at home with his wife), he did want to meet the man himself. Mostly because he had questions regarding the efficacy of baking pizzas with dragon fire. Through the throng of students and other young adults that were apparently excited for a workshop on pizza making, Charlie moved quickly, trying to see if there were any professors or old friends that were floating around. Or even Jimbo Blishwick. The man’s personality was hard to miss when his name and face were plastered almost everywhere one looked. But Charlie? He felt like he stuck out like a sore thumb, craning his neck so he could see over the crowd for anyone he knew. @tag ● xxx ● song by artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

You know it's all a gamble when it's just a game April 18, 2026 When volunteers to chaperone the students had been requested, Archie hardly hesitated in volunteering. The addition of a pizza parlor in the village was a great thing, and he’d never say no to the offer. It wasn’t a surprise that this was a Blishwick operation though he was glad that it had to do with food rather than matchmaking. But much like the career fair the previous month, the staff was outnumbered by the students who had chosen to attend--other students chose to enjoy their weekend as however they normally did.
Archie walked around a group of Hufflepuffs to the nearest staff member, Weasley. Casually, he made his way over. Standing tall next to the taller man, arms crossed. ”You a fan of pizza, Charlie?” Archie felt he was friendly with most of the staff, or at least could easily talk with any of them. For now his job was to just watch, oversee and make sure none of the students set anything on fire that wasn’t a pizza.

April 18, 2026 Two of his Hogwarts colleagues were among the next to enter the pizza parlor besides the countless students who began swarming in. It wasn't a stretch to say that Clarence was older than the vast majority of people with whom he worked, though he didn't really find that to be a problem most of the time. He wasn't someone who tried to get along with the "kids" and act like one of them, but he got along with them well enough, even if he didn't always understand their fascination with certain trends or this or that.
Realizing that both Archie Vector and Charlie Weasley were nearby, though, Clarence made his way over to them. Charlie, who taught Care of Magical Creatures, looked as though he felt thoroughly out of place, and Clarence overheard Archie asking him if he was a fan of pizza.
"Well, this is a bit different from our usual jobs, isn't it?" Clarence noted good-naturedly once he had reached them, looking at the two younger men. He didn't think any of the three of them would fail spectacularly, but it would make for a change of pace for them.

▲ The first colleague spotted was Clarence, one of the visiting professors from Ilvermorny, though Charlie was approached by Archie Vector before he could move from his spot inside. ”Quite a bit, actually. Though it's hard to get out in the middle of nowhere Romania, if I’m to be honest,” Charlie laughed, knowing it was really only funny to himself because there was literally nothing out where he had conducted most of his life’s work. Just him and the dragons. And they were always up to something interesting. Unfortunately none of them were interested in pizza like he was. ”To be fair, Clarence,” Charlie addressed the other professor as he approached, ”I find dragons easier than dealing with students. So this is unbelievably unusual for me still.” His own kids were one thing, though each of them had their own set of problems, ranging from illness to riding around on a motorcycle before being able to ride a bike. At least dragons were more straight-forward: they either wanted to eat you, or didn’t want to eat you. There was no inbetween in that. But children? They had complex emotions and knew how to talk back. That still scared him more than a giant flying, fire-breathing lizard did. @tag ● xxx ● song by artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

You know it's all a gamble when it's just a game April 18, 2026 Archie cracked a smile, he didn’t expect that Romania was known for its Pizza Parlors as much as it was dragons. Clarence approached them, a fellow professor on staff and transfer from the American school. Archie hadn’t been bothered at all by the influx of the new staff and students when the transfer had occurred, some had been quite against it but he couldn’t see why. ”It reminds me more of my Aunt’s shop than it does Hogwarts.” Archie admitted. The Vector’s had their established shop in Horizont Alley for sometime now. Although it was not the path for him as much as it was his sister. Which reminded him, he wondered if Nova would pay a visit to this event--he had Owl’d her the information in case she was interested.
”I imagine there are similarities between a Dragon’s temperament and that of a teenager?” Archie inquired. Being a teenager felt like a lifetime ago. Over the years he wondered which one would be more frightening at times. ”What about you Clarence? What do you prefer on your pizza?” Talking toppings could either be a fun discussion or an angry one, Archie found. Though only when discussing whether certain fruits deserved the honor of being on a pizza. Personally, he liked pineapple on pizza but he hardly made the fact public to many people.

April 18, 2026 It was sort of humorous that even Charlie preferred dragons to teenagers, as Clarence certainly didn't take his personality to be at all similar to that of someone such as Blaise Zabini, who was notoriously hard on most of the students except those in Slytherin House. Though Clarence himself wasn't exactly what would be described as a "soft touch", he knew that being too aggressive with the students would only turn out poorly in the end. He had been teaching for longer than Archie had been alive, at least, and for about as long as Charlie had been alive, he assumed, so he knew a thing or two there. Pizza, on the other hand, wasn't something in which he had much expertise, apart from eating it on occasion.
Though Archie made a comment about dragons' temperaments and their similarity to teenagers, it was his question about what Clarence preferred on his pizza that caught his attention.
"Call me boring," he acknowledged, "but I find that a cheese pizza is always nice." Plain, simple, nothing that anyone would really raise a fuss about. It was a safe option, perhaps, but a tried and true standard. He'd have pegged Charlie as being a fan of some sort of vegetable pizza, but Archie? That was harder to say.

▲ He knew of the Vector family business, though hadn’t stopped in for what seemed like years now. It used to be popular with his kids if they behaved whilst shopping in Diagon, but after they all went off to school and he went back to Romania, there wasn’t much reason to pop into Diagon other than to see George. “All the shop owners have their own flair, but I think I understand what you mean.” Blishwick certainly took inspiration from other places, and even when first stepping inside Charlie thought he may have accidentally wandered into Madam Puddifoot’s. It was the love puns and cheesy (no pun intended there!) one-liners for all of the pizzas on the menu that made it seem like an extension of the tea shop than it was of the matchmaking business. As for children and dragons, that made him laugh. “Teenagers know how to rear their ugliness in plenty of ways that dragons never would, and vice versa. But they both like to eat, sleep, and cause trouble if given the chance.” His kids certainly did, and he definitely did when he was that age. There was no fooling himself that growing up in The Burrow didn’t have its own unique upbringing. “Nothing wrong with keeping it simple,” Charlie mused at Clarence’s preferred choice of pie. “That way if you do want anything on it, it’s a simple addition.” His own preferences usually lay somewhere between being all veggies and all meat, with little in the middle of those two. But absolutely nothing topped a supreme pizza with everything on it. @tag ● xxx ● song by artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

You know it's all a gamble when it's just a game April 18, 2026 Each professor at Hogwarts had their own style. Personally, Archie felt he was relatively relaxed as a Professor but he still demanded a high quality of work and especially from his NEWT level students. Just because one could read the textbook and recite passages from memory did not mean they were qualified to be an Auror or Cursebreaker. At one point in his life Archie had proven he could be a Cursebreaker but his nerves had gotten the better of him, much to his own disappointment and that of his father’s. His Aunt Decima and Nova had been supportive, of course, but they also understood disappointment in the same way he did and never let each other feel it if they could avoid it.
The atmosphere was fun and very Blishwick-like. The family had other shops that were essentially institutions and therefore Blishwick-like became a description or verb in itself. Next to him was a stack of take-home menus that were the size of small pamphlets, a spinning pizza adorned the front cover and a stack of regular sized menus. Archie took one of the take-home menus and began to skim it while he listened to his colleagues speak. Archie had to agree, teenagers were their own species that either needed a firm hand or to be tip-toed around. ”Well, i’ll consider myself lucky that none of my students can breathe fire.” Minus a few of the overachievers, few could even conjure it using magic.
Clarence admitted he preferred a simple pizza, to which Archie nodded. Nothing wrong with simple and as long as cheese was present on the pie. Glancing back down at the pamphlet, Archie spoke again. ”This Another one Bites the Crust sounds fun, it has mushrooms.” A favorite of his on pizza, though he knew not everyone would share that opinion.

April 18, 2026 Archie mentioned that the pizza called "Another One Bites the Crust" sounded interesting to him because it had mushrooms on it, and Clarence supposed that he could see Archie as a mushroom person. Mushrooms on pizza, for whatever reason, tended to be quite polarizing; people either loved them or hated them. Clarence was partial to a good mushroom every now and again, though he was more intrigued by the name of the pizza than the fact that it had mushrooms on it.
"That could be good," he agreed. Not caring much about the fuss of whether or not something was gourmet made it a lot easier at a place like this, Clarence thought, though he guessed that anyone who was too particular about their pizza probably wouldn't be drawing inspiration from the menu as they tried to make their own.
Just as he had spoken, however, Clarence noticed a group of younger Ilvermorny transfer students descending upon the restaurant. He nodded in acknowledgment of his two colleagues but assumed that it wouldn't be a bad idea to keep an eye on the students, either.

▲ Fire breathing students would be an issue. Like a huge issue. Unless it was Fred and George back in the day with one of their boxes of prank candy. Charlie couldn't recall if there were any that did that specifically, or if they only had ones that made the consumer sick. He was too old for the follies of his brothers by that point, though often wished he had partook in the testing process now. Those fleeting moments were impossible to get back, and he had seen the toll it took on George. Bringing up a fire breathing candy the next time they met up would definitely be happening though! Archie had since grabbed a menu and was talking about a pizza that had mushrooms as a topping, so Charlie took one for himself. “Some of these pizza names are brilliant! The Unforgivable Cheeses especially,” Charlie laughed at the name pun. “Perfect for you Claren-” he trailed off as the older professor walked away from their little group to handle an issue with some students. He supposed that they were here for a reason: to keep an eye on the troublemakers. The kids deserved to live a little bit, though maybe that was presumptuous of him to assume, being such a new professor and all that. @tag ● xxx ● song by artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

You know it's all a gamble when it's just a game April 18, 2026 Archie half agreed but half shrugged, the names were creative but also a little silly. Still, he wasn’t surprised. His eyes moved down the list to the pizza that Charlie was talking about and he agreed that one was creative. Perhaps Blaise would appreciate that one, though Archie wasn’t sure how much the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor would appreciate a good pun as much as some of his other colleagues. Hearing Charlie stop speaking mid-sentence, Archie glanced up and saw that Clarence had walked in the direction of some students. It was time to work now, which meant more students were right behind them as well as additional staff members. ”I wouldn’t mind You’re the Missing Pizza.” Archie mostly mumbled to himself. It was a ham and pineapple combination, one of his favorites.
Continuing to skim the menu, Archie noted other options for pizza combinations that didn’t have names that were puns and a variety of sides and beverages. Though he wondered how well Butterbeer paired with pizza. ”Did you happen to see the roster before walking down? I didn’t check.” Students had been asked to “sign up” for this so they could keep track of who was supposed to be here and provide Blishwick with a headcount. If they were lucky, perhaps one of the Heads of Houses would have brought the list with them.

April 18, 2026 Parvati had no intention of actually participating in the event that Jimbo Blishwick was hosting at his pizza parlor (or "pizza emporium", for what that was worth) but had stopped by the place to check that there were going to be enough Hogwarts staff members to supervise the students who were planning to be in attendance. It was a nice break for the students, of course, but Parvati really wished that Jimbo would have thought to run his elaborate ideas by McGonagall before deciding to have them coincide with a Hogsmeade weekend. Then again, that was probably the point of it all, wasn't it?
Either way, it was water under the bridge, Parvati thought to herself, and pizza was hardly one of the more dangerous things with which Hogwarts students had been involved. Granted, some of the puns on the menu were pretty terrible, but she could live with that. Someone probably found them amusing.
As she entered the pizza parlor, she could see that there were already others there, including some of the other Hogwarts staff. That boded well for her; she could ensure that everything was under control and then take her leave.

▲ You’re the Missing Pizza absolutely sounded like it belonged in a Blishwick establishment. For some reason, Charlie expected most of the names to be either love-based puns or from eighties love ballads. While a lot were, the Unforgivable Cheeses still had him chuckling even though the name shouldn’t have been funny in the slightest. Death by cheese pizza would be though. With Clarence disappearing into the crowded pizza joint, somewhere lost in the pile of students that had poured in since they had all entered, Archie asked if he had seen the roster at all for the event going on. Charlie shook his head, “Haven’t the foggiest, to be honest.” Even when he held his little field trip to the animal sanctuary down the block a few months back he hadn’t bothered to pay attention to who was and who wasn’t in his class. All the students deserved to have fun at the events Hogwarts put on. Limiting them based on age (unless dangerous) wasn’t something Charlie believed in. It probably had something to do with dealing with dragons and Ondina his entire life. Looking towards the front of the shop, he spotted Parvati entering and quickly waved at her over the top of the students’ heads. “Have the list?” he yelled in her direction, though he couldn’t tell if his voice carried over the din that was progressively getting louder around them. In this instance, teenagers were absolutely louder than dragons. @tag ● xxx ● song by artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0
