You know it's all a gamble when it's just a game April 18, 2026 The buzz of student’s voices filled Archie’s ears, though it took him a moment to notice. Working this many years as a professor now one became quite used to the noise that filled and echoed the hallways. Especially since not all of that noise was due to the students. The portraits loved to engage with the first year students or even the older ones and contribute to the noise. Charlie had no idea who was supposed to be here and Archie wondered if he should have kept track. Ever since his youngest siblings joined the ranks of Hogwarts he found he paid attention to such details more, though he wasn’t sure why--it wasn’t as if he was close to any sibling aside from Nova. His lovely stepmother had kept them all separated as well as his late father.
Charlie yelled another question and Archie looked up to see if he was the one being addressed but then he recognized Parvati walking up from a slight distance. As long as she was here there would be some order he supposed, but the students certainly reacted differently to different Professors and staff members. ”I would’ve thought Shawn or Alfie might join.” Archie commented casually, waiting to see if Parvati would join them in their corner of the room. He expected more Heads of Houses to attend and keep their students in check with just a glance. Students began to pile in and find their friends so they could group at the multiple tables. It was probably best if they remain standing where they could observe the entire area.

April 18, 2026 It wasn't difficult to hear Charlie's voice over even the students' chatter. "Have the list?" he asked. Parvati blinked and saw that he was standing with Archie Vector.
Initially, she was confused as to what list he was talking about, until it dawned on her that he probably meant the list of students who were supposed to be at the pizza parlor for the event. "No, sorry," she answered, shaking her head but trying not to raise her voice too loudly. She looked between Charlie and Archie and then noticed that Clarence Corntassel was also there and speaking with some of the students.
At first, Parvati was tempted to guess that perhaps Clarence had the elusive list, but he didn't appear to have anything in his hands. "I wasn't planning to stay," she admitted to her colleagues. Still, if they were in need of the list, she could go back and grab it. "The list was in the staff room, wasn't it? I know it was there earlier in the week…"

▲ “Dragon dung,” Charlie swore under his breath, trying to keep it professional but also lighthearted. That was more of a saying in his old job anyways, and students would probably find him weird if he went around using that just to evade vulgarities. The list of attendees, while not inherently important in his opinion, had evaded even Parvati, which was funny to him. While most of the current Hogwarts professors were younger than him by quite a bit, he had known of a lot of the ones that were around the same age as his youngest siblings. Names popping up every now and then at holiday dinners when he managed to make it back from Romania, or over summer breaks. Parvati first came to mind when hearing from his parents about who Harry and Ron had taken to the Yule Ball way back when. Now that was really far back! As for where the list could be now, she offered up the staff room. That was insanely far away, and getting back through the crowded store would prove to be difficult. If they were lucky, another professor would have grabbed it before leaving the castle or Blishwick had one on him from when they sent it over a few days ago. “I can go find Blishwick and ask him if he has it?” Charlie said as he glanced around the shop again to see if he could spot the pearly white teeth flashing. He didn’t. “I have a few questions for him about something anyways.”@tag ● xxx ● song by artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

You know it's all a gamble when it's just a game April 18, 2026 Parvati admitted she hadn’t planned on staying very long. Likely stopping by to check in and then go back to the Castle or whatever her other plans were. These weekends served as a break for Professors who were more or less caught up on their grading, though most weekends they were free to do what they wished as long as their responsibilities were attended to. Archie wondered what it might be like to be a Head of House, Ravenclaw in his case, and what extra responsibilities that might entail or if he would even want it if that was the case. Perhaps when all his half-siblings graduated to avoid any false claims of nepotism and the like. But then again, many of his descendents tended to fall in Hufflepuff.
”Parvati--do you know who else is joining? They might have brought a copy.” Unless it was a situation where all the staff thought someone else was handling it. Archie glanced back at the menu in his hand and then he offered it up to his colleague. ”You sure you don’t want a slice?” The entertainment from reading the menu made one want to stay and see if the pizza was just as special. But, he wasn’t going to stop Parvati if she didn’t want to stay.

April 18, 2026 Charlie offered to go and find Blishwick to see if he had a copy of the list. That was probably the easier route, though Parvati also didn't want to have Charlie bother the man unnecessarily if they could just get the list off of someone who was coming from the castle, as Archie also suggested.
Parvati paused to think. "…Blaise, maybe?" She wasn't sure, but it felt like a safe bet that he would show up at some point, even if he also didn't strike her as the type of person to be terribly interested in a piece of pizza.
At about that moment, Archie also offered her a look at the menu, checking that she didn't also want a slice of pizza while she was there. Though she didn't really want anything, she took the menu and laughed as she scanned the items on it. The names alone were truly something else, and she felt compelled to read through the descriptions because of them. "One second…" she smiled, shaking her head. Hopefully, behind all of the outlandish names, there was something relatively normal available.

▲ He immediately regretted the offer to locate Blishwick and the elusive list, as it was already proving difficult to even move through the shop. Charlie glanced back at the other professors a few times, hoping they would wave him off for his foolish attempt, but they seemed to be discussing something else already. Most likely the menu, since that seemed to be what Parvati had picked up. That only left him one choice: to soldier on through the bowels of the Happily Ever After Pizza Emporium. Blishwick had to be somewhere amongst the crowd, it was his establishment after all. Charlie knew him by appearance, as he was sure most people did, so it wouldn’t take long once he caught a glimpse of the man himself. Gently moving through the crowd, he was positive he had spotted one of his daughters out of the corner of his eye, but couldn’t be sure. The infamous list had only detailed students, though from the surge of people inside, it was more than just students and professors attending. Blishwick had really pulled something impressive together. Spinning around in circles aimlessly, Charlie scanned the room over and over again. This was going to take forever! @tag ● xxx ● song by artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

▲ Charlie Weasley had forgotten the damn list that had all of the students that were attending the Blishwick Pizza bonanza, or whatever it was. Blaise hadn’t planned on going, but had made the unfortunate move of walking into the staff lounge after everyone had left, only to see the list sitting on the table there. Somehow he hadn’t pegged the Weasley as the forgetful type, since that meant instant death in the world of dragonology. Maybe he had just gotten lucky. There seemed to be a lot of that within that family. So picking up the slack of Hogwarts’ newest professor, Blaise snagged the list, folded it up neatly into his jacket pocket, and strolled towards Hogsmeade to deliver it to whatever professor he found first. Hoping for one that was actually competent and not getting caught up in the insanity of Blishwick. Having not paid much attention to what the event actually was, he was surprised to see a line of students and adults alike spilling out onto the street. If this had been any normal Hogsmeade weekend, the crowds would have probably broken a record for the town, as he couldn’t recall a time where he had seen it this busy. Grumbling as he pushed his way through the doors, at first to a few angry words from students (before they saw it was him), and then followed by quick shuffling and apologies left and right. Blaise couldn’t recall what he had done initially to draw so much disdain from the student population, but a lot of them clearly didn’t like him. Parvati was the first professor he spotted as he stepped inside, assaulted by the heat of brick pizza ovens and horrid smells of topping combinations gone wrong. Blishwick was in full swing and making bank. “Weasley forgot this,” Blaise sighed as he stepped up towards the Gryffindor Head of House and Vector, who seemed to be looking at the menus. “I take it he’s been lost to the crowd?”@tag ● ### ● Song by Artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

You know it's all a gamble when it's just a game April 18, 2026 Charlie began his trek through the growing crowd of excited students. But among them, Archie could see people that were not students or he did not recognize them. It wouldn’t be the first time, Arithmancy was hardly a popular elective if given the choice. Even Divination might beat him in numbers, a subject that Archie had mixed feelings about. Parvati seemed otherwise uninterested in this event at least until Archie handed her the menu and he watched as her curiosity grew. Still, he glanced and saw the other professor's red hair get lost in the crowd, it seemed these older students were getting taller and taller by the year. Archie fully expected his own brothers to pass him when they were older.
Blaise approached them, a very unamused look on his face as he handed over the list but he looked around. “He went to find Blishwick for the list, but he mentioned needing to ask him about something” So at least his perilous journey wouldn’t be for nothing. Archie picked up another menu, the paper material felt crisp between his fingertips as it hadn’t been bent frontwards and backwards as his last one. “Care to look at the menu?” Archie toyed with the idea of making some quip about the Unforgivable Cheeses pizza being created in his honor but he decided to against it for now.

April 18, 2026 It was certainly one of those "speak of the devil" moments, as who should walk in the door but Blaise Zabini himself, list in hand. He mentioned that Charlie was the one to have left it, a clear explanation of why he was so intent on tracking down Jimbo Blishwick to see if he happened to have a second copy in his possession. Parvati understood it, though; it was easy to get sidetracked, and having just one copy of the list meant that they could at least make copies of it for each of the members of the school's staff in attendance, making it that much easier for them to keep track of who was where they need to be and who wasn't.
Although they seemed to have lost Charlie Weasley, he was fortunately a grown adult and could find his way back to them. Parvati thought about going off in search of him, but it would be easier just to let him figure out that Blaise had shown up with the list.
"He'll be back, I'm sure," Parvati noted of Charlie, though she was more focused on the fact that the cheese pizza was called "The Unforgivable Cheeses". "Merlin, has Blishwick actually named a pizza after the Unforgivable Curses?" she asked her colleagues aloud, sort of stunned that he had actually gone that far. "That's a bit… dark, isn't it?" Especially for Blishwick.

▲ Weasley was definitely living up to his namesake, though Blaise barely knew anything past what he was teaching and that he had been heavily involved in dragons prior to this. That took a certain degree of ballsiness, but also stupidity. He probably did well with a lot of the students. “I wouldn’t mind if he took the rest of the day searching,” Blaise said as he took the offered menu that Vector was holding out for him. The names were ridiculous. Parvati seemed to be taking note of the one labeled ‘The Unforgivable Cheeses’, and while quirky because it was a three-cheese pizza, also extremely heavy content wise (and cheese). “Everything he does is for the limelight and money,” Blaise explained, as if he knew the man’s thought process behind everything and why he did the things he did. “If that pizza name gets him an article in the Prophet or some other tabloid, he’ll take advantage of it.” Exploitation of peoples’ affairs in love, and exploitation of the darkest magic known to wizardkind for a stupid pizza name. Not that Blaise minded a good three-cheese pizza though… @tag ● ### ● Song by Artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

You know it's all a gamble when it's just a game April 18, 2026 Archie did his best to not show a hint of a smile at the mention of the Unforgivable Cheeses. While the basis for the title was on dark content it was still funny if you didn’t think too hard about it. But he kept quiet on that matter, he wasn’t about to argue with the School’s counselor on the matter. ”He’s right--it catches your attention.” It was in Blishwick’s style he supposed. Much like the rumor he’d heard about the outfit he’d worn to the Windsor Christmas party, though Archie himself did not attend and confirm that. ”I doubt the Prophet would pick it up, perhaps a tabloid.” Archie crossed his arms for a lack of knowing what else to do with them but as he opened his mouth to speak and further his point about the tabloids he heard a noise that was louder than the current noise level off to the side.
It appeared that somebody had tripped and the crowd around them was shuffling to give them room to stand up. It was hardly the place one wanted to fall onto the ground because they would either be trampled or would get to hang out with whatever crumbs covered the floor. Neither option was very appealing to Archie. But the group around the fallen student was a peculiar bunch, but that meant that they were recognizable. ”It looks like one of them fell--one of the Weekly’s that is.” Archie could recognize the taller ones, but they were one of those families and names that the staff was aware of because of the werewolves and vampires involved. With that, Archie made his way in that direction to see if they needed assistance.

Purple haze all in my brain Lately things they don't seem the same April 18, 2026 Asher paused as he surveyed his surroundings. The cobblestone path looked rough compared to the pristine condition that his shoes were in. This village was not one that he had visited often, although he’d made the journey at times for various reasons. Many of his colleagues and coworkers mentioned the village with various degrees of nostalgia in their words and tone. One might see the appeal if they were into that quaint and quiet scenery, which Asher was not, but he was here nonetheless. The goal today was a meeting and this establishment that had been chosen was not his first choice but a good choice because it was new. Walking past some students, who gave him looks because didn’t stand in line as they did, Asher could only return with his own piercing stare until they decided to look away.
So far he couldn’t spot Sarah, but he walked around the crowd into a part of the room that had other adults and also had room to stand without being crowded by thirteen year olds. The woman wasn’t one that ASher had seen before but wasn’t familiar with. The other, however, he was from their overlapping time working at the Ministry. ”Zabini. Do you know the meaning behind this...chaos?” Asher hadn’t expected such pandemonium or he would have chosen another day or another venue. But, it was much too late for that. Still, all this chaos might provide some good cover and at least there was someone familiar so he could try and stand out less.

April 18, 2026 Blaise made some comment about how everything that Blishwick did was for fame or for money. Though that was probably not too far from the truth—because how much could one person really obsess over the concept of love, really?—Parvati did take issue with the insinuation Blaise made that any publication would just run with it. Having worked in publishing before she had worked at Hogwarts, Parvati was keen not to have Witch Weekly seen as a rag.
"You know I worked for Witch Weekly before coming back to Hogwarts," Parvati pointed out to Blaise—right at about the same time that the first of what was likely to be many commotions broke out.
Archie was the first to draw their attention to what had happened, mentioning that it sounded like one of the Weeklys, as in the students with that surname, had fallen. He went over to attend to the situation before Parvati herself could, but she assumed that it was probably Monday Weekly who had fallen. It wouldn't have been the first time that the girl had injured herself, though it was because of her goblin blood that predisposed her to injury, rather than being out of clumsiness and sheer bad luck.
She motioned to Blaise at about the time that another man, who seemed to know Blaise, entered the place. "I should probably go help Archie…" she hesitated, glancing between the two and then back in the direction of where the Weekly had fallen.

▲ He despised the tabloids. Loathed them, even. The magical magazines and papers that were pumped out perpetually were awful in their own right, and he absolutely hated the muggle ones that went after his wife’s career every time one of her films didn’t soar in the box office or she was seen eating lunch with someone that wasn’t him. Having his picture slammed around in dozens of muggle ‘zines really got under his skin. As he was about to tell Parvati that ‘Witch Weekly’ wasn’t nearly as bad as some of the ones he had dealt with in the past, Vector scampered off to help a Weekly. The sudden double usage of the name caught him off guard as he tried to look into the crowd to see if it was actually a Weekly student, or if Vector was scared by the prospect of Parvati having once been a columnist for ‘Witch Weekly’. Regardless, his colleague also took her leave to help assist Vector as another person approached to speak to him, leaving him as the last non-occupied professor standing. He didn’t even want to be here. “Burke,” Blaise greeted the man, extending his hand out. “Blishwick. I swear if there was a picture book dictionary, his smug face would be right next to the word chaos.” And while love and pizza seemed to be Jimbo Blishwick’s thing, he absolutely knew how to cause absolute insanity everywhere he went. The students were rabid for this pizza, and Blaise still didn’t see why. “Don’t tell me you’re here for it as well?” he asked Burke. That would easily be the strangest thing he’d witnessed today: the head of the Department of Mysteries partaking in a pizza making class, surrounded by a horde of hungry Hogwarts students. @tag ● ### ● Song by Artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

Purple haze all in my brain Lately things they don't seem the same April 18, 2026 The woman that had been standing next to Blaise moved toward a particularly chaotic portion of the crowd. It appeared as though a student had fallen or perhaps they had fought. Either way, Asher thought it was silly to give such behavior such attention. In his days at Durmstrang if you fell you got back up or people would walk all over you, literally. It was the nature of the environment and curriculum, and really in his society. Asher took Blaise’s hand and shook it in return, they both had a strong grip--as expected of Pureblood sons.
When Blaise asked him if he was here for whatever event this was, Asher made a slight face before regaining his composure. ”Of course not, I am meeting with a colleague.” Though he knew that Sarah would hardly be amused by the scene before him. Looking at the crowd again he was grateful that the Department of Mysteries was absolute peace and quiet compared to this. ”I’m not sure why you left to deal with this instead.” Asher stood, his usual rigid straight posture and hands behind his back. They had worked together for many years, and Asher’s father had also been an Obliviator some time ago. Plus, it had been nice to have a fellow Occlumens and Legilimens at the Ministry. The only other one now he couldn’t stand. ”Although, I suppose I could ask the same of my sisters.”
