April 18, 2026 Fae assured her that it was okay and that she could leave. She didn't think that she would be leaving the pub, she said. Sadhbh nodded her head in response to that. Even speaking for herself, she didn't plan to go very far. There was plenty to see and do in Diagon Alley itself, but it was often sort of overwhelming. Hy-Brasil didn't really have shopping, per se, and Sadhbh had never really understood the draw of it. She wasn't very materialistic, so it was really more about looking in the windows or browsing around just to see what people who didn't rely on the gods to provide for them actually thought that they needed.
"I will be in the alley," Sadhbh informed Fae out of courtesy, because she certainly didn't have any other method of communication with her when they were in such close proximity to one another, apart from perhaps the use of a Patronus messenger.

April 18, 2026 Xiulan had had to make a trip into Diagon Alley for the sake of going to the Owl Post Office, although even that was something that she managed to avoid doing in person most of the time. On this occasion, she hadn't had much choice. She had been tempted just to Disapparate from there once she was finished, but she didn't have the clarity of mind to do so and didn't want to risk being Splinched. Though the Leaky Cauldron was probably noisy, it was also her best option for somewhere to go where she could sit down.
She entered the pub and looked around, however, and immediately felt less frazzled. Who should be there but Fae, the High Druid of Hy-Brasil, as well as another woman whom she recognized as being one of the Druids from the island.
Having traveled to Hy-Brasil the previous month during Ostara, Xiulan had become more and more comfortable around the Druids. She was grateful for their hospitality, particularly since she hadn't known what to expect of the island. Leaving her flat at all was such a challenge for her that she hadn't thought that she could manage a visit of multiple days to a place she'd never been. It hadn't been easy for her in the slightest, but the complete lack of Dark magic—and more anxiety-relief potions than she had consumed in her life—had helped more than she had anticipated. She had had to put her trust in Fae, especially, that no harm would come to her.
Seeing that Fae was in conversation with someone, though, Xiulan hated to interrupt her and held back until the woman who had been speaking to Fae turned her attention to her. As politely as possible, Xiulan shook her head. If it was something confidential or urgent, she didn't need to be in the way. "I'm sorry," she apologized to the woman who had been distracted by her presence. "I don't mean to interrupt you."

▲ Fae didn’t know what a ‘pizza parlor’ was or why it was so important that an event had to be held at it, but if Anastasia was there, it had to be something special. She sort of knew what a parlor was in reference to, so her first assumption was that it surrounded the pizza portion, which was probably a fancy mainlander name for a great gathering and discussion of many things. Especially if there were sensitive things to be discussed, as the Ministry woman put it. “Interesting...maybe one day I should attend one of these pizza parlors as well, since it sounds like it could be important to Hy-Brasil as well,” Fae mentioned as she waved at Sadhbh as the other druid made her exit outside. The discussion about having a guard attached to her hip was absolutely the first thing to be brought up by Anastasia, and Fae should have expected it. It wasn’t like she disliked having someone next to her at all times, and the boy they had with her at the beginning of March was nice enough, but it was also counterintuitive to her mission here. She was trying to complete things with a small group of people, not letting the entire mainlander population know what her work involved. And quite frankly, she was sure that James Potter would be bored by the things she had to deal with. “On trips like this, I am perfectly capable of handling myself. I have been inside this Leaky Cauldron a number of times now, and they have always been accommodating.” She felt safe here, despite there always being someone new walking through the door. It was like a dream come true for her, considering she had always wanted to escape the confines of the island and travel. Before Anastasia could continue with her next thought though, a familiar voice cut in, and Fae turned to see Xiulan standing there. “Xiulan! I did not expect to see you again so soon,” she exclaimed, knowing that this was completely contradictory to what her business in London was supposed to be. At least with the Seer, they didn’t have to talk in hushed voices. Xiulan knew everything that Fae had told the Ministry so far, and vice-versa. “This is Anastasia. She went with me to the island, and is helping with our work.”@tag ● ### ● Song by Artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

My head's under water but I'm breathing fine April 18, 2026 Ana felt certain that Fae did not know what pizza was, let alone a pizza parlor. Maybe she needed to explain it further to her. ”Its a restaurant of sorts, I would visit on a day with less of a crowd.” Ana suggested. She couldn’t imagine trying to protect the High Druid in the massive crowd she had seen today and she was sure it only had gotten worse after she had left. The crowd that had surrounded Sarah was enough, let alone people visiting from the school and other shops or their families.
Fae again denied her request to assign someone to ensure her well-being while on the mainland. And Ana knew better than to push, but it still irked her to leave her by herself like that. In any case, she was here with her now and Ana was a better choice to guard her than James Potter was. The Leaky Cauldron, despite its dim lighting and plain appearance, was a comfortable sort of place. Ana could remember the first time she had stayed here when she’d first arrived in London to begin her internship.
Before Ana could speak, however, a woman approached them who Ana was not familiar with. Interruptions annoyed her, but she decided it was best to be polite. ”Anastasia Karkaroff.” She introduced herself but stopped short of saying anything else. Plus the noise from a group nearby was also irking her.

April 18, 2026 "Xiulan! I did not expect to see you again so soon," Fae told her, clearly happy to see her in spite of whatever had been going on in the conversation between her and this other woman.
Xiulan, who hadn't expected to see Fae so soon, either, smiled slightly, though the woman who had been conversing with Fae—whom Fae introduced to her as Anastasia—didn't seem as receptive. She was, Fae said, also helping with their work, so that meant that she wasn't likely chatting with Fae because there was some sort of hostility there.
"Anastasia Karkaroff," Anastasia added, formally introducing herself.
"Xiulan Zhou," Xiulan answered, since Fae had referred to her first by her Chinese name. "But you can call me Julia if that's easier."

▲ A restaurant that also had a big event? So it was more like a party then. Her processing of that made way more sense than it being some super huge government thing going on, though she still didn’t know what pizza meant. From the sound of it though, this was a busy day for the pizza and the parlor, and Fae nodded her head about visiting on a different day. She didn’t have time for it today anyways, and most of her work was conducted on the weekends in London anyways. Anastasia and Xiulan introduced themselves to each other, and Fae beamed back and forth at them. The two of them were bound to meet each other eventually, as they had plenty of mutual connections that were seemingly coming together over the last few weeks. She was about to add in a bit about that, but a loud group in the corner had absolutely burst through the relative quietness that the bar had held since her own arrival. It was a pub after all, and she had personally seen it crowded before. This was maybe the slowest she had seen it in her few trips through. “Do they have this pizza thing here too?” she asked, looking towards the bartender, as if he would be able to answer the question he hadn’t heard her ask. “Because I have never had it before, and would not mind eating it while we talked.” She was intent on acquiring this thing now, considering it had been brought up and was clearly very important to the magical people here. @tag ● ### ● Song by Artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

My head's under water but I'm breathing fine April 18, 2026 Ana wondered if they would ever get to the point of their conversation, though now another familiar face had now appeared to greet the High Druid. Maybe it came with the title and the fact that she would meet many people in her lifetime and from different places. In any case, it was annoying for the moment. She heard a chair loudly squeak against the floor which would have made her twitch normally if she was more focused. But now, Fae seemed to be focused on Pizza and asked the bartender for it.
She didn’t know if they had it on the menu here, she didn’t often eat pub food herself or anything but the bad wine if she felt like drinking anything. She could thank her mother for ruining her palate for such things. ”I can ask.” Ana waved down a bartender who began to make his way over, but in the meantime she glared at the back of Potter’s messy-haired head as he loudly pulled a chair back from a table.

I'm your charity case so buy me something to eat April 18, 2026 Leo closed the lid of his pizza box. While it had been an excellent suggestion to eat here at the Leaky Cauldron instead of the insanely crowded Pizza Parlor, it was the initial plan anyway. Since his sister and her best friend were non-magical, it was ideal. From what Leo had been told (by Bianca and Felix), no-maj relatives were allowed in the Leaky Cauldron and Diagon Alley. No-maj children about to enter Hogwarts would come with their parents as they were unofficially brought into the magical world.
Angela, his sister, had already left. It was good to see her, as she was the only sister he still spoke to or any family member really. And it was by chance that she had befriended Yara who also had a magical relative. Standing up he grabbed the crumpled napkins around his box to take to the trash bin on his way out. ”I have to return to work. It was good to see you Yara, let me know if your computer keeps acting up.” Leo excused himself and threw away his items on his way out.

Good times never seemed so good I've been inclined, To believe they never would April 18, 2026 James admittedly was exhausted. He’d helped Cordelia once again from the walking hurricane that was his sister Lily. And Blair had also helped since they were apparently roommates. Harper had finally gotten her pizza as well but they decided on a quieter venue with less risk of tripping and falling into one’s own pizza box. ”I wouldn’t mind a pint.” James mumbled. They had walked in earlier, watched as someone with Blishwick pizza boxes exited the fireplace, and then immediately walked back through it. James noted the High Druid was here and watched the exchange between Karkaroff and Greyback, as well as two others.
”Did you notice that woman with the pamphlets outside?” James asked his cousin as he looked around the pub again to see who else had escaped the mess that was the Pizza Parlor. He could only think of the mess that would have been there at the end of the day. Thank goodness for magic. And before he gave his cousin a chance to answer he spotted someone. ”Hey! That’s Yara, let’s go say hello.” James stood out loudly from his chair. The old wooden leaks squeaking against the equally old floors. James walked over and bumped into a chair at Yara’s table, chair legs squeaking again and also after a long day it was clearer how he was related to Lily as he was forgetting the control the volume of his voice to acceptable levels. ”Yara! How’ve you been? Is Yas here?”

April 18, 2026 Yara didn't spend too much time in the Leaky Cauldron itself. She spent more time in its general vicinity, but it was only really when she was with Yas that she ended up going inside, thanks to the enchantments on the place. It was nevertheless understandable; magical people had to maintain the secrecy of their world, and she was fine with helping them do that. As it turned out, one of her classmates from university happened to have a wizard brother who worked with technology in the magical world, and the three of them had met up.
She was a little bit frustrated, though, since her computer hadn't been working properly for the past couple of days, and of course it was right when she had what seemed like a million assignments due at once. It never failed, but Yara imagined that she could find some sort of workaround for it eventually. Since her friend Angela had already left and Angela's brother, Leo, had to return to work, she didn't have much reason to stay at the pub.
In fact, Yara was about to get up from the table and leave when she heard someone call her name. It turned out that it was James Potter, and he asked if Yas happened to be there. Yara could see Harper at a distance, too, and she smiled at the both of them. "I'm well, and no, she isn't," she replied, shaking her head. "I was meeting with a friend of mine and her brother," she explained. "How are you two?"

▲ The chaos of Lily Potter knew no boundaries, and Harper had been thankful that the girl her cousin had knocked over was actually a friend and not some poor, unsuspecting innocent person that happened to draw the attention of Lily because she had something shiny on her. That honestly would have been way worse and she didn’t really know how she would have dealt with that, even with James at her side. It also helped that the girl’s roommate, Blair, happened to be the one that had been standing with James when Harper had busted in with the news of the accident, so in the end it really didn’t amount to much aside from a misunderstanding on her own part. That was easily the best outcome that could have come out of this. Except for the fact that Lily had apparently already done that to the poor thing once today, and this was the second time she had completely ruined the pizzas. The silver lining? Harper helped the girl (her name was Cordelia) to the front to get the second round of replacements and had been able to skip the line altogether, getting her own pizza immediately. From there, she and James peaced out because there wasn’t any seating left in the parlor. A drink was necessary. “Yes please,” she exhaled, having already downed half of the pizza on the walk away from the parlor and to where they had apparated near the Leaky Cauldron. “Yeah what was her deal? Bunch of weirdos hanging around here these days. Like, lady, I can only say I’m not religious a couple dozen times before I get frustrated.” She rolled her eyes hard at the thought of having to do that again on their way out later, assuming she would still be trying to force pamphlets on them. Before she could continue with her thoughts on the woman though, James pointed out that Yara was here as well, and Harper found her eyes drifting across the pub to the muggle woman she had met a little while back when she had been hanging out with James. He asked if she was here with her sister, but was told no, that it was with a friend and his sister. She hadn’t caught sight of who that could be, but it certainly wasn’t the lady with the giant stick standing on the other side of the room. “We just braved James’s sister and a huge line just to get pizza. I absolutely recommend it, but not today.”@tag ● ### ● Song by Artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

Good times never seemed so good I've been inclined, To believe they never would April 18, 2026 If he thought about it, he’d been awake for probably too long and the heaviness of the pizza and running around in that crowd had exhausted him. Also, the probability that Lily had knocked over the same person once again. Maybe it was some magnetic type of thing. Cordelia was a nice girl, on the quieter side while Lily was the opposite and perhaps that had caused the collision or the universe thought it would be funny. Still, he wondered what the probability was of running over the exact same person twice in a row when you had literally fifty-eight people standing around you. At least it got Harper her pizza faster, and Mr. Blishwick didn’t make a fuss about replacing pizzas. It seemed there was plenty to go around even if they had gotten glares from those standing in line.
The woman had been near the entrance that muggles used to enter the Leaky Cauldron when they had a relative that was magical. So obviously it wasn’t noticeable to her. But James had heard of these individuals and his father had mentioned them. James had good reason to dislike them, but he let them be. Still, maybe he’d been hanging around Lily too long but an idea was forming in his mind. James nodded in agreement with Harper as they spoke to Yara. ”It was absolute madness in there. Almost like a maze but with people.” James mused out loud. Putting his hands in his pockets he realized something was missing. There was his phone but….damn. ”Hey Harp. Have you seen my wallet…..Lily.” James couldn’t remember if he’d handed it to her at some point, but he needed it back. ”Good to see you, Yara.”
James excused himself, slightly annoyed now but he had an idea. ”Hey, let me see your pizza box.” Before they reached the exit he tapped the cover with his wand, muttering a spell he’d learned in his school days to prank the younger students in the Gryffindor common room. ”Hand this to the lady outside.”

April 18, 2026 "We just braved James's sister and a huge line just to get pizza. I absolutely recommend it, but not today," Harper said to her about what they had been up to, and it was obvious that pizza was definitely a popular choice in the magical world that day.
James, too, related that it had been like a maze but with people, and Yara could only imagine that it was probably chaotic. Speaking of chaos, though, James looked over to Harper and asked if she had seen his wallet, only for the realization to dawn on him that he didn't have it with him. That certainly wasn't good, and Yara completely understood when he excused himself to go get it back from his sister.
"It was nice to see you," Yara noted in any case.

▲ James’s sudden confusion about where his wallet was when they began to talk to Yara had Harper confused enough that she transitioned the pizza box to one hand and patted at her own pockets, looking for the small purse she typically kept inside her jacket pocket. It was also gone. “Shit,” she swore, as she looked up to see that James had the same look on his face. “You think Lily did this?” Harper couldn’t remember her cousin ever being a pickpocket or a thief, but thinking about when they were helping Cordelia up, Lily had been hovering a bit behind both of them. She had simply assumed that was because she felt bad for knocking her friend over again, and was trying to actually stay out of the way for once in her life. “Sorry we couldn’t catch up!” she waved at the girl as she followed James back towards the door, pizza box still in hand. He was asking for it, and she willingly handed it over to her cousin, watching curiously as he tapped the top with his wand and then handed it back to her again. Harper immediately understood what he had done, and grinned up at him. At least they could have some fun without their wallets on them? “Done,” she said, as she pushed by him and ran right over to the lady that was still handing out pamphlets. “I lied. I am religious. For pizza. This one is holy, because I ate some of it already. See ya!” She laughed as she ran back towards James, hoping they could disapparate before the lady caught on to their little prank. @tag ● ### ● Song by Artist MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

Good times never seemed so good I've been inclined, To believe they never would April 18, 2026 James grinned but then took a quick moment to compose himself. Didn’t need the lady thinking he was up to something despite that mischievous glint in his eyes. Harper seemed to catch on quickly as well and had no issue with the plan. They were all Weasleys and also pranksters at heart. While it drove their grandmother a little insane sometimes their Uncle was always beaming with pride. In a way, it was honoring their uncle they had never met as well. They said a quick goodbye to Yara and headed out the door.
Harper quickly approached the stuffy-looking woman and her pamphlets. She was likely surprised they had approached after dismissing her earlier and Harper handed her the box before they found an alley nearby that they could safely apparate from. Glancing behind James could see her look at the Blishwick logo with great interest before looking back at them. But with a crack they didn’t linger to see her reaction.
