▲ Of course Reina didn't get yelled at by the nurse for teaching swears. Lyka could feel a vein in her forehead twitch momentarily, noting the difference in treatment. Though, to be fair, the other girl was ill and Lyka had come in with a broken arm. There was quite the difference in level of care between the two of them and she didn't actually expect to be treated the same way. Plus, she wasn't the quietest person in the world. She grew up with her mum constantly telling her to lower her voice as she tapped away about Quidditch or whatever happened to fancy her scatterbrained mind in that moment. Her parents had probably hoped that eventually her hyper fixation in the flying sport would turn towards something more...educational. Or even with helping at the shop. While she definitely didn't mind doing the latter (and it was painfully obvious now that it was also most likely her future), Quidditch was life. And being rather vulgar happened to come with the sport. "Mierda..." Lyka repeated quietly, so as to not be heard this time. A pause after told her that she had gotten away with it. "I like that one." She felt like she was a second year again, finally realizing she could say words that weren't allowed at home. It would be used sparingly, so as to not alert anyone of what she was saying. Especially the nurse. "I'll have to practice rolling my r's for that other one," Lyka laughed. Luckily she was good at practicing mundane things. According to her parents, Quidditch fell into that category. "I think the bone is starting to mend," she commented as she realized she could move her wrist without too much pain in it. "I'll probably be out of here soon...I know you aren't feeling the best, but do you want me to bring something from dinner up?" Knowing the house elves, they'd sort that out and with a nice bowl of soup too. MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

December 23, 2027 After trying out "mierda" for herself, Lyka said that she liked that one. "I'll have to practice rolling my r's for that other one," she added. Reina laughed, which turned into more coughing. It made her body ache, but it was okay.
"I think the bone is starting to mend," Lyka then updated her, moving her wrist to try it out. "I'll probably be out of here soon…" Reina knew that the older girl wasn't intending to sound insensitive, but she was definitely lucky. "I know you aren't feeling the best," Lyka continued unexpectedly, "but do you want me to bring something from dinner up?"
Reina smiled. "Yes, please. Anything is fine," she answered her. She didn't have any real preferences; she would happily take whatever Lyka brought her. The food at Hogwarts was all good. She just wanted to be able to repay Lyka for being so considerate of her.

▲ Lyka, unfortunately, enjoyed pushing her own limits. While she could move her wrist around with minimal pain, it also wasn’t smart to do so in the middle of it still trying to heal itself. The floppiness it had only a half hour earlier was completely gone, though occasionally she felt pins and needles shooting in both directions on her arm. The tingling in her fingertips was manageable as long as she kept everything straight and even. That was difficult for her to do when it was fun to watch it snap back into place with little pain. Using her unharmed hand, she bent the broken wrist back at the fingertips, and she immediately let out a yelp of shock. The wrist was absolutely not fully healed yet. ”Miss Malkin, do you have bludgers for brains?” the nurse called out from across the room, her head peeking around the door into her office. She had clearly just seen that attempt at checking if the wrist was still rubbery. ”Yes?” Lyka grimaced, scrunching her nose up at Reina as she waited a moment in case the nurse came stomping towards them. ”Whoops? At least I didn’t swear this time,” she whispered. Reina accepted the offer for food, and Lyka gave her a thumbs up with her good hand. Another minute passed in silence, and the nurse finally returned to do a full check-up. The motions of bending her wrist back and forth, in a similar manner to what she had just done to herself. But now, everything was fine. Given her clearance, Lyka hopped off her cot. ”I’ll get easy to eat stuff. Don’t worry.” That was more for reassurance to the nurse more than anything else. ”See you in a few!” And off she went, hoping there would be enough food left for her as well. If all else failed, she’d make a stop at the kitchens before heading back to the common room. That always worked out well for her. [Lyka End] MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

December 23, 2027 Lyka seemed to have gone a little too far in testing out how well her wrist had healed, and she let out a cry of pain, prompting the nurse to question aloud if she had Bludgers for brains. Lyka answered that she did, but it sounded like it was more of a reaction to the suddenness of being asked. Reina imagined that Lyka was close to getting some sort of punishment, though she didn't really think that Lyka was being that misbehaved. Should she have tested out her wrist? Maybe not, but it wasn't as though she had done anything maliciously.
"Whoops? At least I didn’t swear this time," Lyka whispered to her. That was true. Even when she had accidentally caused herself more pain, she hadn't used any foul language—in English or otherwise.
On a better note, Lyka acknowledged her mentioning that she wouldn't mind food, and she was actually given the all-clear to leave. "I'll get easy to eat stuff. Don't worry," she stated. "See you in a few!"
"Thank you," Reina called after her, only to end up coughing. While she waited for Lyka to return, she could at least rest for a bit.
