▲ Godric's Hollow was one location that Finn had surprisingly never visited before. There really hadn't been a reason to. As a regular community, she didn't fit in there at all. But with a pub added? It didn't sound like the worst place to check out. She immediately started running names through her head on who this specific uncle of Rose's was. There were a lot, strangely enough, and Finn had enough run-ins with various members of the clan over the last few years. Rose then went on to explain that the same uncle owned a cocktail bar in London, which definitely made travel a lot easier. "I'll probably end up checking both out. Pubs are more of my thing, believe it or not." As if the immense number of tattoos screamed that she didn't belong in the swanky cocktail lounges of the world. There was only so many that she could effectively cover up before employing magic to hide them. And then she looked plain weird. The real trick was that she had to make the most of the time she had left here, assuming MACUSA was going to order her back home eventually. "Oh! I've been to both of those. I'm not a cat person, but it was still pretty fun." Her dog refused to look at her for the rest of the day, even when it was time for dinner. Disregarding food was an odd tantrum for a husky to throw, but he had done it nonetheless. All of her neighbors thought he was a sweetheart, always quiet. What they didn't know about were the layers of sound-dampening charms she'd installed. Bruce was a loud dog. "I've walked by the florist a few times but never actually gone in. Can't even remember the last time I got flowers..." Finn trailed off. "My dog would probably try to eat them out of boredom. He likes to do that..."MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

February 14, 2028 Nottingham took her suggestions about both the Hounds and Harriers and the Hounds Lounge, though she said that pubs were more her thing. Rose smiled a little at that, mostly because it meant that Nottingham fit right in with the majority of people on that side of the pond despite being from the States. Pub culture was normal to her, but she had seen plenty of Americans and others who had gotten frustrated with the staff at some establishments where there wasn't the table service that they were used to receiving. Most of the younger crowd picked up on it quickly, though, to their credit.
As far as her other suggestions, Nottingham had already visited the cat café and the pâtisserie. She was familiar with the flower shop, too, but she hadn't ever been in there. "Can't even remember the last time I got flowers… My dog would probably try to eat them out of boredom. He likes to do that…"
"Maybe not the best idea, then…?" Rose considered. There were a lot of flowers that, while pretty, could be toxic, and that wasn't even including the magical ones. "Well, if you ever go to the Hounds and Harriers or the Hounds Lounge, though, just tell Harry that Rose sent you." Rose had no doubt that anyone who went there would receive excellent service regardless, but it wouldn't hurt.

▲ One would think that with age, her dog would learn to stop trying to eat whatever he could get in his mouth, but alas. Huskies were going to husky unfortunately. Especially when they were the more stubborn sort too. She could already imagine the game that would come about of her trying to remove a flower stalk from his jaws. What would most definitely start as playful would end up with furniture moved haphazardly across her apartment, tufts of fur everywhere, and a suddenly incredibly overcharged dog that wouldn’t be able to calm down for the rest of the night. At least he was fine with being on his own all day. Casting anti-destruction charms on most of her belongings when he’d been a puppy had been the most laborious task she’d ever gone through. It probably shouldn’t have come as a surprise that the uncle who owned the pub and lounge was the Harry Potter. Finn, of course, knew him. She’d been the one to step up and into his shoe’s years earlier, much to her dismay. That had been a mistake on her part, now that she looked back on it. The optimism of four years prior had very quickly waned as she aged. She was absolutely not cut out to be a leader like she had been. Finn had no idea what Rose knew or not about the exploits of her uncle and other older family members, so she kept her mouth shut about that for now. It was long past, and unless there was a general call to arms again for the Order, Finn was done with it. ”Thanks, I will. Is there anything else in Godric’s Hallow? Never actually been there, since I’ve been told its mostly just homes.” Unless she was planning to settle down here, there was absolutely no reason to go. For now, her apartment was perfectly fine until she decided what her future held. MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0
