Was it wrong to take advantage of a wedding to import more butterbeer for her own personal consumption? Probably. Fae knew that all she had to do was write a letter to an interested distributor and she could have barrels of it within the week. The Council would find it odd though, as she would definitely be seen trying to float it all through the forest to her shack. Having a personal butterbeer tap hooked up on the back wall of her home sounded like a dream come true, and also the fastest way to losing all of her teeth. Surely, she’d grow tired of it if she could have it at any given moment.
Dreama stated that her and her soon-to-be husband, Cian, wanted a traditional wedding, and Fae nodded. There was no such thing as a druid wedding that was small, as most of their religious ceremonies tended to follow a similar trend. The actual ‘service’, as the mainlanders would probably call it, was quite lengthy, though not even comparable to the party that came after. Fae had attended all weddings on the island since she became High Druid, as was one of her roles, and the joining of Dreama and Cian would be no different.
”It will be a lovely wedding regardless,” she smiled changing her hair to a flash of bright pink for Stella again. Having more little ones running around was always fun. Fae loved passing out her books to any that were interested. She hoped Stella would be a frequent visitor at her ‘library’ one day.
As they walked along the path, the abrupt thinning of trees signified that they were essentially at Boudicca’s Grace. Fae had always loved that about the forest. One step in and you were lost amongst the trees and wildlife. True freedom.
Fae wasn’t in the druid town every day, but she did frequent it more than some druids that preferred living in solitude on the island. These days, it was definitely busier with Ministry officials always milling about. They were used to having guests, though those were typically herbologists and magizoologists that had been invited. Some on the Council had started to grow frustrated with this oversight, and while she agreed to an extent, it could have certainly been worse.
”It should be a good summer for it,” Fae added on about the upcoming wedding. Unlike disruptions of past, Hy-Brasil was back in working order. For the most part. Returning to how things were was the best thing they could do as a people now, and she was there to facilitate it the entire way.
