School was fully out for the non-LIFE students and that meant work had been hectic. Not because customers were buying flowers, no that would make too much sense. Because unrestrained and wild children kept running in and out of her shop, never buying anything and almost always knocking a potted plant or two over. Aurelia didn't even want to get started on finding individual petals plucked off of her flowers. That angered her more than anything else, because that ruined them most of the time. Trying to take a calm approach to all of this was difficult because it was her livelihood now. Everything left to her had been spent buying the shop and flat above it, and then stocking the store for the last several years. That was the only reason she'd managed to pull it all off. She didn't view herself as some business savvy person either, just that magical folk enjoyed flowers and weird plants. She could do both, thankfully, and most of her profit came from selling magical plants to potioneers and other herbologists. Having supplies for Hogwarts also helped, though a student really only needed to purchase one set of dragonhide gloves on their life. There was never any real reason for a student to come back to her shop unless they needed something very specific for school or wanted a bouquet.
That didn't stop the annoying little twelve and thirteen year olds from brazenly walking in and turning her shop into a disaster zone. Aurelia was fairly certain that at that age she was far too shy to even speak to someone aside from her siblings, so have these kids basically destroying her store caught her off guard. What she needed was a vacation from it all. That wouldn't be happening at least until school started back up. It did remind her that she needed a new travel cloak though, her current one getting absolutely battered during the nice little trip to Yrisle.
Closing the shop up early because it was a Sunday afternoon and she literally never got business then, Aurelia casually strolled over to Madam Malkin's to see what they had available. She wasn't directly opposed to having one tailored either, as long as the cost wasn't exorbitant. A good travel cloak could handle virtually everything. Except months of mysterious disappearance apparently. She contemplated what she wanted exactly as she pushed open the door to the clothing store, immediately walking towards where she last remembered the heavier-duty cloaks being. There were quite a few, of various designs and colors, and she immediately started to feel overwhelmed while flipping through them. Too many choices. What was wrong with just wearing a giant sweater instead?
