hello there, my name is Adrian Greyback but you can call me just... Adrian. i'm 16 so that makes me a fifth year at Hogwarts, where I reside in Gryffindor house. You could say I'm brave, daring, & chivalrous but I personally think that I am unruly, independent, and loyal. People say I look a lot like Alberto Rosende, but I don't really see it...

crowds people knowing his... ailment (he doesn't actually have a problem with being a Werewolf, he actually enjoys it most the time, but he doesn't like how people react to knowing...) having to say difficult english words (he hates words with 'th' in them, and he flat out refuses to say 'squirrel'.) being cooped up indoors essays/paperwork of any kind that disgusting wolfsbane potiom People mentioning Fenrir when they hear his surname bullying of any kind sitting still for more then a few minutes Fighting (he gets in them all the time though...)
Become a famous Quidditch player Ride on the back of a dragon (Yes... He's been accused of being insane for this wish, but how many people can say the rode a dragon?!)

Adrian is a Greyback, which most people just can't seem to get past. The name is a heavy burden, one many are not willing to see past. But, it is a burden Adrian must bear...
He isn't what you'd expect though. When people see him, they see an active, troublesome, and unruly young man. A boy that is constantly getting in trouble, both intentionally and not. His whole life seems to be focused around getting attention, and enjoying everyday to the fullest.
He is a fireball of energy.. seriously... He's constantly moving, running, jumping, fidgeting... he just can't stay still, no matter how hard he tries. Classes are unusually difficult for him because the longer you make him sit still, the harder it is to focus, and he's been kicked out for more then once for being unruly. His professors and classmates have branded him as disruptive and a troublemaker... He totally is... He's always trying new and crazier stunts. When it comes to physical activities, he just has no feat, accepting any dare you send his way. It's basically gotten to the point where he spends just as many nights in the hospital wing as he does his own dorm. He's always excelled at sports, obviously. Actually he excels at doing in general. He learns by getting his hands dirty, and not by theory. So if you'll be patient enough to actually apply whatever you are trying to teach him, you'll learn that he is a clever kid.
Adrian has a hard time... holding back inappropriate answers. He says what's on his mind, and forgets about the consequences. This is where the whole 'troublemaker' part comes in. Since he doesn't really stop to think, he digs himself into a hole pretty darn quick, and when he tries to get out he just makes it worse... But hey! It's pretty funny to watch! Just try not to take him to seriously, he probably didn't mean to insult you.
Pacifist isn't a word many would use for a child of Fenrir Greyback, but Adrian likes to think of himself as one.. Well, a pacifist in training. Ever since he learned of his father's reputation, he's gone out of his way to change the name. So, yes, he does avoid conflict (kind of hard when you have a mouth like his, but you have to give him an A for effort!). He does have a temper though.... A short temper. And the closer it gets to the full moon, the shorter it gets. He does his best to stay in control at those time, but if he can't, he doesn't resort to magic, he'll use his fists. Word to the wise, don't take a Werewolf to a fist fight if you want the other guy to still be able to walk afterwards...
Adrian feels little to no shame for being a werewolf. In fact, if ever asked his wide grin is more then enough to express his feelings. Bu, that doesn't mean he tells everyone. He's actually pretty secretive about it, because he knows most Witches and Wizards aren't very accepting of people with his condition. If his classmates' parents found out, many of them would probably try and get him expelled. To them, it's just to much of a risk to their own children. Who knows, maybe Adrian will forget to take the potion one night and lose control? Maybe he'll turn into a monster just like his father? Basically... He doesn't tell, and he's wicked good at hiding it. A couple close friends know though.
The boy is unusually loyal to his friends. He'll protect them no matter what. But... he's still always felt alone growing up... Like there was never someone that fully understood him. Someone that he could fully share his wild and free life. There aren't many teenage werewolves running around after all! But you know what? Maybe he won't be so lonely anymore...
Several half siblings that he hasn't really associated with until now...

None, his mother wouldn't let him, she was convinced he'd hurt it....
Adrian was born in Berlin, Germany, during a freak lightning storm to Barbara Lange. When asked about the father, the woman turned away, muttering that he wasn't in the picture. She lived on her own, a struggling musician with an intense need to prove to the world that she could handle a child, and make a name for herself at the same time. This was the life that Adrian grew up in.
The small family moved constantly, always trying to get that 'big break' Barbara dreamed of. All the while, she had a secret. She was a talented, but undisciplined witch. She didn't use her magic for the best reasons, and constantly had run ins with magical law enforcement. More then once, Adrian was sent to live with his grandparents as his mother sorted out a few problems, but she'd eventually get him back and they'd be on the road again.
When Adrian was eight, he and his mother were out at night, walking home from one of her gigs when they were approached by a stranger. The man was drunk, and obviously not in his right mind. His mother just grabbed his hand and kept walking, ignoring the man. They didn't imagine he'd follow them. OR that a week later, during the full moon, a werewolf (the man) would break into their home and attack Adrian. He would have killed Adrian if it weren't for his mother.
Adrian was rushed to the hospital, and survived. The next morning t he man that had followed them that night was arrested as the culprit. He was raving about finding 'Fenrir Greyback'. He was arrested, but his words stirred something with Adrian.
At the hospital his mother finally told him about his father. She was a singer in a small band that had a gig at one of the small pubs in town. Fenrir was a regular at the bar, coming almost every night. That was how she met him. The man with wild eyes. She was young, and reckless at the time. So she slipped up. One night she had one to many drinks after the show.... One thing led to another and she woke up the next morning in her unmade bed. Fenrir had left, and was never seen by her again. Several weeks later, she learned that she was pregnant, and nine months after that, Adrian was welcomed into the world. She hadn't known who he was at first, only known his last name, Greyback. When Adran had shown signs of being a werewolf though, she'd looked more into it, trying to find as much information as she could about the man. That was how she learned the true identity of Adrian's father.... Fenrir Greyback, the infamous werewolf during the Second Wizarding War. The werewolf that had an insatiable hunger for human flesh. A monster.
That was the first, and last time his mother spoke of his father. She went back to life as if the conversation had never happened. Adrian always remembered though, and made a promise that day. To change what the name 'Greyback' meant. He would make the world recognize him as more then just "Fenrir Greyback's son". And so, after much hesitation, he chose to go by his father's name. Not as a reminder of is blood stained heritage, but as a promise to change the name.
During the boy's 11th year of life, he received two letters. One from Durmstrang, and the other from Hogwarts, both inviting him to be a student. In the end, it came down to the schools' reputation and Barbara chose to send her only child to Hogwarts.
Adrian can still remember his sorting as if it were yesterday. The hush that fell over the hall as the name 'Greyback, Adrian' was called. He can still remember the nervous whispers as he passed, making his way to the sorting hat. And he can still remember how, with out hesitation, the hat shouted "Gryffindor!" to a shocked Great Hall. Adrian, the son of Fenrir Greyback, took his seat at the Gryffindor table.
Those first few years of schooling were the hardest. The tormenting, the bullying, the whispers behind his back. He made a few friends during this time, but they weren't many. Most his classmates stayed clear of the Greyback kid. Not just because of his name, but he quickly built a reputation for being a troublemaker, especially in class. There was one boy that Adrian had connected with instantly though. The youngest son of Rubeus Hagrid. They were fast friends. He was the first one, after gaining Adrian's trust, that Adrian willingly told about his being a werewolf.
In his third year, things changed for Adrian. That was the year that she entered his life. Lily Potter. The only daughter of the boy who lived... Lily Potter was a clever young witch. She managed to learn his secret. Not only did she learn it though, but she kept it, and thus sealed the fate of their friendship. Between his best friend, and Lily, Adrian learned to let people in, to share more and more of himself and his world. But it was never enough. They could never enter his world, never see it with the same eyes as him. To be awed by the wonders and mysteries, and thrills... He'd never been so close to anyone as those two, but he'd also never felt more alone...
Until that night.... That absurd, crazy, thrilling, and terrifying night. The night he and Lily came up with that plan... The plan to turn her.... The absurd plan that they'd been insane enough to actually do... The plan that will not only change her life forever, but his as well. Now here's hoping they can keep their secret from their classmates... but especially her family....
