Lily was hard to understand sometimes. Wait, no, scratch that. She was hard to understand all the time. Adrian should just give up trying to understand the stunts she pulled. And she just had to look so smug and proud of herself for throwing him off... "Still... it's unnerving how smug you look..." He admitting, giving her a suspicious look, as if trying to figure out if she was going to try another stunt like that.
It was his turn to feel smug though. He could tell how frustrated she was over not understanding what he said. She'd never seemed to be a fan of it, which made him want to switch languages more often. She was always so cute when she was annoyed. "You should work on glaring more, you're to cute to be intimidating." He teased boldly. Partly because it was true, the other part to try and rile her up more, and prove his point... But also to see if she'd keep glaring, or if the girl would actually do something.
"I wouldn't have it any other way." He muttered softly with a smile. They were quite a ways from the school now, and it was past curfew, but the boy didn't care, the deeper they went, the more free he felt.

Lily's response to being called 'unnerving' was simply sticking out her tongue at him briefly. Still, she liked the suspicious little look on his face. She liked keeping him on his toes! It was much more fun that being predictable like everyone else was. No, Lily took pride in the fact that she was able to surprise Adrian even though they had known each other well for so long.
Even though she was annoyed at not knowing the German, she found the mystery exciting as well. At his words, however, she scoffed, smacking him lightly on the arm. "I'm plenty intimidating! You're just immune. I'll have to fix that," she stroked her chin with her pointer finger as if contemplating the best way to do that.
Even though they had just dealt with that weird messenger spider, Lily wasn't read to end the night. Together, they continued on. "So, I'm thinking we should pick a meeting place. Somewhere where we can find each other if needed. Like... a den," she suggested, her face brightening with excitement as they moved through the trees.

Adrian side stepped quickly, avoiding Lily's attempt to smack him. Just as quickly as he'd dodged it, his own hand shot out, not to whack her, but to tousle her hair into a mess as quickly as possible. "Nah, it's cause you're just a werewolf in training. Practically a pup, haven't even transformed once." He teased, though there was a hint of seriousness to it. To him, she did feel like a pup. She'd entered a completely different, and unfamiliar world... It made him want to protect her even more, not just from the physical danger, but the way society would treat her...
The thought made him hesitate. What had he done? Only a handful of people knew of Adrian's... situation. His mother was overprotective, having done everything she could to keep it secret. And for good reason. Being a werewolf wasn't a blessing in Wizarding society. Yes, Adrian loved it, he wouldn't change it, but he'd seen the persecution. And now Lily would have to endure it as well. No, he wouldn't let that happen. He'd keep her safe...
Lily had a way with distracting him, especially today with his thoughts wandering so much to darker subjects. He raised an eyebrow when she said they needed a den. "A den?" He repeated as it sunk in. The more he thought about it, the better the idea seemed. "Yeah. Now that we're a pack-" Adrian tried to stop the words from forming, but it was to late. Quickly he faked a cough, hiding that slight hint of embarrassment. "There are probably a lot around here. I've never really looked for any though." He continued, making a quick recovery.
Now, where to find one? Preferably not in the Acromantulas' portion of the forest, or they'd constantly be having to chance the overgrown spiders out... And he'd also prefer to stay far from the Centaurs, they weren't the friendliest of folks, especially to werewolves.

Being called a pup was a strange sensation, but she didn't correct him. A small part of her liked the nickname, but she wasn't going to tell him that. She narrowed her eyes even more, "just wait for the night. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to outrun you easily," she dared. She was serious, though. A race would so be on the second the full moon came out next month. Still, they would have to find somewhere safe to do it... somewhere away from the school. Good thing there was a convenient forbidden forest at their disposal!
Pack, there was that word again. She smiled at the comment, even though he faked a cough and was clearly embarrassed by the comment. She slowed her step, ending up beside him and linking her arm through his as they continued onward. "I say we go West. The worst thing I've seen over there is a blast-ended skrewt and I don't think they'd be bothering us," she suggested as she turned a bit to change their course. "And hey, using words like 'den', 'pup' and 'pack' isn't a big deal Ad," she added, though she found herself looking away from him as she spoke, acting as though she was suddenly very interested in the path they were following.
Lily didn't really like to think she belonged to anything. Sure she was part of a famous family. Sure she was part of Gryffindor house. But she never let that stuff define her. Never let it own her. But this... this was different. She felt oddly comfortable with the idea of being bound to Adrian in some way. Which meant this Potter was going to need to watch her step. Getting attached wasn't the Lily way.

"You're on." Was all Adrian had to say to her challenge, unable to hide that competitive spark in his eyes. He never backed down from a challenge. Not only that, he had to practically defend his honor now! Being the werewolf that turned he, the boy felt a need to prove that he was stronger... And he wanted to show off to Lily. He didn't care what other people thought, but Lily... he had to prove to her that he was worth it. "Try not to cry when I win." He added tauntingly.
He grinned as she linked arms with him. This was nice, natural even. Their bond hadn't changed with turning her, only deepened. It felt unshakable. "West it is." He slowed a bit when she continued, saying it was alright to use those words. The thing was, he didn't know why he felt such a need to say them... "I've never... This is all new." He admitted, refusing to look at her as he continued. "I've been like this my whole life, but I've never met another Werewolf. I definitely hadn't changed anyone before. People have tried to understand what it's like but they didn't get it. I thought I was fine but..." He trailed off, trying to put into words what he was saying, or trying to say. Still, he refused to look at her. "I didn't know how lonely it was until now. You changed that, Lils." He muttered that last part, quiet enough that it would easily be missed if she wasn't listening closely.

Lily glared as Adrian told her to try not to cry when he won the race. "I'll bring you some tissues," she said with a sharp little smirk. "You have no idea what I'm capable of," she said with an added wink. In all reality, neither of them knew what she was capable of yet, and she was looking forward to finding out. She was sure Adrian was looking forward to it as well, "just be glad you'll have a little competition for once," she said. She knew that Adrian was amazing and giving him a little someone to worry about would be good for him. Give him a chance to step up a little bit more.
As they continued moving forward, Adrian went on to explain that he had never met a werewolf, let alone turned one himself. At the mention of people trying to understand, Lily slowed her walk until they were side by side again. Then he said that he had been lonely, but he didn't know that until now... until her. She didn't look at him, knowing that he was avoiding her eyes as well. "Ad..." she started to mutter his name, not continuing right away. She finally moved again, nudging him with her elbow. "You're damn right. You owe me," there... that was a noncommittal way of agreeing, right?

Lily was right. They had no idea what she was capable of. He was excited, more then excited, for when she changed for the first time. To see what she could do. "Hey, next month... Don't take the potion. We'll meet out here, and the forest will be ours. Okay?" Adrian always took the wolfsbane potion that left him totally calm and submissive. Never had he risked not taking it. But, never had he been with another Werewolf during a full moon. They wouldn't hurt each other. They'd covered Werewolves in Defense Against the Dark Arts, werewolves weren't much of a danger to each other or animals, it was humans that were in danger. And maybe... they'd find something Adrian had been searching for for a long time. "And there's something out here I want to find. I've heard them a few times, but that's it. I don't know what they are... but they sound like me... well, us." He looked at her with a serious look.
Adrian grinned at her reaction to his heartfelt comment. He'd meant it. And, if Lily hadn't reacted like that, he didn't know her at all. "I'll make it up to you." He joked, catching the elbow she'd used, and pulled her back in. His other hand went up to her hair, ruffling it mercilessly. After making the biggest mess of her hair that he could, he let her go and shot her a wicked grin.

Lily nodded as he told her not to take the potion next month. Ugh, it seemed so far away! She wanted to try this now, wanting to experience all of it as soon as possible. "The forest will be ours. Okay?" at those words she clasped one of his hands in hers, "I'm in." Her wicked smile grew wide at the thought, at the anticipation. As he continued to explain the the things he'd heard of that were like them, Lily raised an eyebrow at him. "Sexually frustrated teenagers or wolves?" she did her best acting to make it sound like an actual question, even though she was one-hundred-percent joking about the first part!
"I'll make it up to you." Lily wanted to say something after the fact but he quickly caught her elbow and pulled her back to him, ruffling the heck out of her hair. When he finally released her she glared up at him before leaning forward and biting him firmly on the shoulder. Not in a sensual way, but like an angry little kitty. She pulled away and lifted a finger, pointing it inches from his nose. "That's just a taste of what's to come, buddy. When I have wolf teeth I am totally taking you down."

Adrian was excited for the next full moon, to see how she would change. He was a little worried she'd regret her choice when it finally arrived though. The transition wasn't easy, and the days leading up to it, and after always sucked. He thought it was worth it though for those precious hours he'd spend totally and completely free. He grinned as she took his hand and agreed. "Good." They'd have to plan it out, of course. Trick the staff into thinking they were taking the potion, and sneak off to the forest before the change. They'd have to go deep, deeper then he'd probably ever gone, to ensure they wouldn't accidentally come across any other students. They wouldn't exactly be in their 'right minds' without the potion, instead instinct would take over. They wouldn't be able to stop themselves if they found a person... They could work out the details later, they had a month to plan after all.
He fixed her with a serious look at her next comment, his own eyebrow raised to match hers, and forcing himself to frown. "I hope we never find sexually frustrated teenagers out here." He finally stated, and shuddered at the thought. "Of course it's wolves. But it's not just on full moons I've heard them."
Adrian didn't expect Lily to retaliate so... violently. And even if he had, he definitely didn't expect her to bite him. He stopped mid step, his eyes wide and mouth slightly gaping as she pointed accusingly at him, chastising him. He didn't say anything at first, trying to come to terms with what had just happened. "Ow!" was his delayed reaction. It hadn't hurt to much actually, but it was the thought that counted, right? "What're you, rabid?" He accused, turning his head to try and see the spot she'd bit him on his shoulder, as if checking for infection.

Lily laughed loudly as he said he hoped they didn't find any sexually frustrated teenagers. "Yeah, that sounds pretty horrible," she said, giving a little shudder as well. Obviously, it was wolves. She raised an eyebrow as he gave her an incredibly vague description of them. "Erh, what's that supposed to mean? What are they? Tell meeee," she said, grabbing his arm and slightly shaking him.
Lily stated at Adrian before he responded and laughed again as he yelled about her biting him and asked if she was rabid. "Nope, just hungry," she said with a sneaky little smile. "Oh stop it," she said, lightly smacking his cheek as he turned to check his shoulder. She rolled her eyes, to point toward the direction the had been walking, "okay, okay. Seriously, we're almost there." She started moving again.
Soon, they came up on a small grove of trees. They weren't too close together, but it had a lot of potential. She turned to Adrian with an eyebrow raised, "think we could alter the trees to bend a little, be more rooflike? Eh?"

Adrian exaggerated his staggering as Lily shook him. "I don't knoooooooow." He complained. "I've only heard them! Haven't actually seen anything!" He added. Which was why he was so curious... What were they? They couldn't be normal wolves, and obviously not werewolves.
He looked absolutely mortified by her response of being hungry. "So you're a CANNIBAL?!" He inched away as if ready to bolt if she showed any more cannibalistic signs. That look vanished when she said they were almost there, instead an eyebrow raising. "Almost there?" He asked, slightly concerned about this new sixth sense she had developed, and just knew they were close to what they were looking for.
But, as fate would have it, she was right. This grove of trees, with some magical assistance, would work perfectly. They were so deep that no one would chance upon it. "Hm... Only on one condition." He pointed to the higher branches. "The roof is actually a tree house."

Lily frowned a big ol' frown as Adrian suggested that he didn't actually know anything about the wolfy people. "Well, that's not very helpful. Whatever," she shrugged, "we'll figure it out together."
She broke into a big goofy smile as he called her a cannibal. Not her normal oh-so-suave smile. No, a big goofy one like the fifteen year old she was. As he inched away she bit her lip in amusement. "You'll see. You'll see," she faux threatened.
As he suggested a treehouse, Lily smiled widely. "Ooh! Brilliant! Let's get started and then..." she turned toward him and took a single step until they were close enough to kiss, if she so chose. "Next full moon we'll meet here and see where the night takes us."
