Andy was making her way through the village of Hogsmede. She was alone. She couldn't walk around with Phil, she couldn't bring herself to. She had been avoiding Jude. Albus had been... around, but she was better off by herself right now. As she walked, she wrapped her arms around her torso, shivering a little but not only because of the cold. Because of the whomping mess she had gotten herself into. She had stopped talking to Phil since Christmas break, and she knew that he was hurting because of it. But wouldn't it hurt more if they did speak? If they did try to stay friends? She knew it would. Still, it pained her to see him in the Common Room, at meals, in classes, in the hallways... no matter where they ran into each other she felt her heart jump into her throat. Had she made a terrible mistake? And then there was Jude. They had been avoiding one another like the plague, and with good reason. They hadn't ended things on good terms. Still, she missed laughing with him. Making stupid jokes about other people. Snogging in whatever nooks and crannies they happened to find themselves in. She looked down, shaking her head and shaking off the thought process. She didn't want to get back together with him, especially not since kissing Phil. Still, she missed being friends-with both of them. And then there was Albus Potter. It wasn't weird enough that his brother and her sister were dating, but she and Albus had... well, they had been spending a lot of time together. Andy couldn't figure out why, but she liked being around the guy. She liked his 'devil may care' attitude. Maybe it was because it was so opposite of Phil, whom she was trying hard to not think about. Eventually, she found herself just outside the Shrieking Shack. But, standing near the fence, was Jude. "Oh, come on," she said, stopping in her tracks. @jude

these rapid eyes will keep on moving Jude definitely did not like Hogsmeade, but apart from the library in Hogwarts, the bookstore hidden off one of the side streets of the blasted village was the only place he could find muggle books and since returning to school after holidays two month ago, he'd run out of reading material that didn't yell or sneeze in his face when he turned the page. The trip had fortunately not been wasted either, as he managed to pick up Virgil's, The Aeneid and George Orwell's 1984. They had been caked in dust, untouched as seemed common for the muggle section, but now they were his and he hoped it would be enough to get him through the next week until the package from his mother arrived with more muggle books to get him by.
He was making his trek back towards the school when a cluster of students decided it would be a good idea to have a snowball fight in the middle of the pathway. Part of him wanted to say the hell with it and continue on wards, but they were using magic to launch the flying wads of snow at each other and Jude did not feel at all inclined to get dragged into it, much less have snowballs pelted at his face. So with an irritable scowl, he veered off the main path towards the Shrieking Shack, hoping to loop back on the main trail.
In all his years at Hogwarts, Jude hadn't bother much with checking out the old, rotted shack that hung on the whispered lips of other students. They said it was haunted, but for all the sodding ghosts flying around Hogwarts, one would think the luster of a broken down shack would mean nothing in comparison to a goddamn haunted castle. But as it turned out, the wizarding community consisted entirely of the asinine and dimwitted. Which is clearly what they were, seeing as the Shack was a hell of a lot less threatening than the enchanted castle.
Jude stopped before it's gate, the fence acting as a shoddy barrier for the shoddy property. He shifted the book bag hanging from his shoulder absently while looking at the dingy building. Wind pushed at it causing it to creak and moan as if it were something out of a corny horror movie. That's all you got? He thought to himself. But alas, he thought too soon. A voice too familiar to his ears prying his eyes from the building.
"Oh for fuck sake's." He sputtered as he caught Lestrange's eye, who judging by her comment, was clearly of the same mind as far as running into each other went. "Can't you find somewhere else to sulk, Lestrange?" He baited, the hardness in his voice reeling with discomfort.
This was the last thing he needed.

There was Judes mouth again. She rolled her eyes, that was something she wouldn't miss. Though, a small part of her did flash back to some hilarious memories where that sailor swearing came in handy. At his question, albeit sarcastic, Andy stood a little taller. "Sulk? I'm not the one who is practically licking the fence to the Shreiking Shack. Planning a little vacation?" she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm and bitterness. She took another step toward him, "you should go inside, I hear there is all kinds of magical history in there," she nodded her head toward the shack. The statement wasn't untrue. She had heard about uses for the shreiking shack back in the day, and very few of them were pleasant. Still, she knew it had once been a place for friends and support. Something she didn't feel like she had at all right now. @jude
