Andy chuckled at the mention of lily. "She's uh... quite the girl, isn't she?" she didn't know the Potter that well, but if she was anything like James or Albus... she had to be quite a mess. Not that this bothered Andy, of course not, she just hadn't really made the effort to get to know her. She was always running around doing something crazy, and Andy didn't do that often. Though, she was trying a little harder this year, wasn't she?
"Hah, not really. I mean..." she leaned in closer, "you're with Phoenix Rising. What's your theory on all this? I mean-- I can't promise it wasn't my sister," she added. That rumor had been dispelled long ago, but a part of her was still concerned that people didn't really believe that she and Aurora had nothing to do with it. It was bad there, for a while... but it had been months since they were sent home and while they were home Ethan was attacked, proving their innocence.
But the panic was still there. The insecurity.

Anna couldn't help but laugh a little at Andy's uncertain reference to Lily. She knew that the two weren't really friends and she also knew that unless you were one of Lily's friends it was hard to understand her. "Lily is fun. She always does the unexpected, which definitely has a way of keeping you on your feet," Anna admitted casually.
When Andy got to the real questions, Anna listened. She thought for a second, but her reaction was almost instantaneous. "Andy, I believe you guys. I don't think it was either you or your sister and I'm pretty sure most people in Phoenix Rising agree with that. I don't know who is making this mess, but I really hope we can find them soon. The whole situation has been serious from the beginning but it's just getting worse and I'm nervous about where it will go if we can't find whoever is behind it." She finally let her fears out. Anna wasn't really accustomed to showing others her worries, but for some reason she trusted Andy.
She gave a small, forced laugh, "You know, growing up I heard all the stories of what our parents went through and I always felt kind of jealous, like it would be neat to be a part of that, but now ... I mean, I'm not going to run away from it, but it's not as thrilling as I thought it would be. A part of me wishes that we could just go through school normally, you know? Does that make any sense?" Anna glanced up at Andy nervously, unsure of what kind of response she could expect from her new friend.

Andy nodded as Anna spoke, "it does. I mean, we can't deny that we want adventure-we're in Gryffindor after all but..." she shook her head, biting her lip in her own nervous reaction. "But it would be nice to have a normal life. I mean, I don't really know what normal is but I know that there is something better than this. Than abusive parents and murderers and love and what have you-" she took a deep breath, trying to steady herself from spouting off all sorts of nonsense that wouldn't make any sense.
Andy found herself reaching forward to place a hand on Annas knee, "but things aren't normal. Things are bad, but we can help. We can fix this," she was more trying to convince herself than anyone else at this point...

Anna sighed and looked around the room. "I know. And I want to help and make a difference. I'm just not really sure how to do it, you know?" Anna trailed off as she thought. It was true. She didn't know how to help. Well, she was a part of Phoenix Rising, but they didn't know who was behind the attacks, which made it hard to work against them.
She had a feeling that things were going to get way worse before they could get better, just like they did back when her dad was younger. If the war against Voldemort was any indication of what was about to happen, it was going to be a long, drawn out battle.
