Towel The shower had felt great. The hot water had loosened his muscles and he felt refreshed and ready to go. He dried himself off with the towel and wrapped it around his waist then pulled the shower curtain back. He reached for his clothes then stopped. Where were they? He stepped out of the shower stall and looked around. They weren't here. He knew he had brought them with him, he had carried them with him and set them right here on the bench. Right here. He threw his hand up in the air in frustration then sat down on the bench. Someone must have taken them, but who? He racked his brain but couldn't think of anyone. He sighed. Well, he could either hide here forever in the bathroom or just go. It was late anyway. Most people would be in their dormitories. It should be fine... right? Stitching his town tighter he opened the door and stuck his head out of the door. No one. Thank goodness. He walked out, closing the bathroom door behind him. He decided if he saw anyone, he was going to act as if this was totally normal. That was better than any alternative. Tags: @lestrange

Towel
Andy was reading and walking at the same time. Normally, this isn't something she would do, but there were a lot of people she wanted to avoid eye contact with as of late. She wasn't really comprehending the words she was reading, for her mind was going a million miles a minute. She thought about Phil, about Albus, about Neville and Hannah, about her sister... Too many people on her life. Too many people she cared about. It wasn't really something she was used to.
As she turned a corner, she saw someone right in front of her, nearly running into them. "Ooh I'm sorry I-" she stopped, lowering her book as the scene became clear.
Her eyes widened as she saw Phil standing in front of her... In a towel?

Towel "Oh I'm sorry I...Phil looked up and froze. His hand clutched the two sides of his towel tighter at his waist. "Uh, Andy... What-what are you doing here?" his voice broke for a moment and he felt blush fill his cheeks. What the heck was happening here? What are the odds that this could even happen? He wiped a stray water drop off of his shoulder nervously. Tags:@lestrange

Towel
"This is a hallway, Phil," she tried to sound cold and careless but failed miserably. Her voice came out like some sort of choking sound. She cleared her throat. "Where... um... what happened to your clothes?" Andy prayed to the gods that be that no one walked past them right now. Especially not Albus, that would be incredibly embarrassing and she would literally explode. She was about to already just with the situation at hand. Phil, her Phil, in the hallway. In a towel. Alone. Oh gosh, could the teenage awkwardness between them get any worse!?

Towel Phil bristled. "I know it's a hallway." he sighed, moving one hand to run through his damp hair. His other hand stayed firmly on the towel. He tried to keep his embarrassment from showing, which was much easier said than done. "My clothes... I don't know where they are." he admitted after a small pause. Then he frowned. "Why are you even in the hallway right now?"Tags:@lestrange

Towel
"Because I was walking, Phil. Is that a problem?" the situation was bad enough without her being cold to him, but what else was she supposed to do? The humor of the situation was easy to see but Andy wasn't really one to pay attention to that sort of thing. "Someone probably took then. Some idea of a joke," she said, holding her book against her chest and folding her arms over it. She took a step back, "well, good luck then." She nodded and turned on her heel, swiftly walking away...

Towel His head turned as he watched her walk off. For some reason the encounter left him more angry than anything else. Why was she being so rude? Was it something he had done? He couldn't think of anything to justify how she was treating him, and that made him frustrated. He sinched his towel tighter and stalk off toward the common room. Whoever did this was going to wish they hadn't. End Towel

They both end up on the ice outside and have to hold onto each other to make it through.
The Ice February 2023
It was just starting to get warm again, but not in a good way. The snow or rain would fall, turn into ice over night and then the next morning when the sun came out the top layer of ice would be juuuust melted enough that it was unbelievably slipper. Andy wasn't ready for this, however, and was raising down the steps of the castle. She was going to be late to Herbology and was trying to make a rush for the greenhouses. She wasn't the only one running late, however, which was incredibly lucky because when she finally slipped on the bottom stair, someone was suddenly there to catch her... "Oh thank you- you've got to be kidding me," the last part was said under her breath as she looked up at Phil, but it was probably clear enough for him to make out.

The IceFebruary 2023 The day was feeling fridged, even before he bumped into Andy. The air was like ice picks in his lungs and the ground felt like it was trying to trip him. He made it down the stairs without falling on his face or his rear, but he wasn't sure his luck was going to hold out. He was running a little late for Herbology... again. But he couldn't go any faster or he would fall over. So when he got to the bottom of the stairs he let out a sigh of relief and started to walk, very slowly toward the greenhouses. That was when he heard an exclamation, he turned around just in time to see a blur of dark hair and pale skin. He reached out and caught her, pulling her close to his chest in an effort to steady both her and himself. "Oh, thank you-- you've got to be kidding me!" She said this last part under her breath as she recognized him. He rolled his eyes. There was no reason she had to be so rude about it! If she didn't want anything to do with him, she should stop running into him! "No, the pleasure is all mine." he said with only a hint of sarcasm. Then he let go of her, reigning in his impulse to push her away from him, to show her the same rudeness as she was showing him. But he didn't. He just let go and took one step away. That was when his luck ran out. He slipped his legs flying out from under him and knocking into Andy's legs.

The IceFebruary 2023 "No, the pleasure is all mine." She rolled her eyes at his words, straightening up as he pulled away. Her eyes widened as she saw him start to slip but before she could do anything she was being knocked over by his flailing legs. Luckily, Phils body was there to break her fall. She landed on top of him with a loud cry. In a split second before his head hit the ground, however, she threw her hands underneath it in order to soften the impact. Her hands saved the back of his head from crashing into the ice. She looked up at him, finding a small smile starting to grow on her face. "It seems as though we'll have to get through this together, Longbottom," she suggested. Her eyes caught sight of his lips, and the overwhelming desire to kiss him came back. She brushed it aside, returning the cold stare to her face. "Suggestions?"

The IceFebruary 2023 Together? She wanted to do something together? He held onto his anger at her with a tight grip. He was not going to explode at her. As he looked into her eyes his anger turned to something else. His eyes darted to her lips, so close to his, her hands were behind his head, cushioning it from the hard ground. He almost leaned up to kiss her, almost. "Well, maybe we can balance each other well enough to get past this icy patch." he commented as he gently pushed her off of him so he could sit up. He didn't let his hands linger on her arms like he wanted to. He didn't look into her eyes like he wanted to. He went back to his anger. That was easier than whatever this was.

The Ice February 2023
Her fingers were stinging from the impact of the ice, but she didn't show the pain on her face. She moved back as he pushed her away, folding her hands in her lap and rubbing them together. She was poker faced for a moment but soon nodded. "I think that's our safest bet," she muttered. She held her hands out to him, glaring, "now if you can just get over being snappy for one second-" she took a deep breath, calming herself from her own snappiness, "just take my arms and we can help each other up. There's no reason fighting right now, okay? Please?"

The IceFebruary 2023 "Snappy? Andy, you are the only one who has been snappy or rude since Christmas so don't try to pin it on me." he said, holding back his anger, but only barely. He took her arms in his and started walking across the ice. He didn't look at her as he did so, no matter how much he wanted to. As they walked he took one arm away from hers and promptly slipped and fell on his bum. He ground his teeth in pain and frustration.

The Ice February 2023
Of course he would bring up Christmas. Of course he would bring up the way that she had been treating him. She didn't know what else to do, though! She didn't know how to handle attachment situations. It was easier to just push those thoughts aside and the only way to do that was to shut him out completely. That was how Andy function. In absolutes. She liked picking one side of the scale, black or white, no grey area. It was easier for her. It was what she understood. But she didn't owe Phil that explanation. She simply rolled her eyes and didn't respond until, stupidly, he let go of one of her arms and started to fall. She didn't want to fall with him so she let go of the other arm, letting him fall on his own. She slowly bent down and knelt beside him. "You have to hold onto me, okay? Please don't make this harder than it needs to be," she pleaded, reaching her hands out to him again.

The IceFebruary 2023 He sighed and took her arms, pulling himself up. He kept both of his arms connected to hers and kept his eyes trained on the ground in front of him. He was fine holding onto her, well mostly fine with it. Her arms were warm and he gritted his teeth. Why did he sill have to care for her? He was not looking forward to the next visit at home. He had never been nervous about going home. He was frustrated with her for that. His feet slid over the ice smoothy, hoping that Andy didn't want to make small talk, because he might explode at her.
