Irina couldn't help but chuckle a little bit when Lily asked why they all just couldn't get along. "I believe we have our fathers to thank for that one honestly. Even though you know, my father married someone else and had four children with her and as far as I know they're blissfully happy," she told her. She did sometimes thing it was a silly feud, but life was full of those she supposed. "You and me could be fun to start out with maybe, and then if we find something we can let others know. I'll be seventeen when we go, so I can use magic outside the school," she said thoughtfully. It might be easier even to just start out with two people, and letting others know if they find something, otherwise they could have people grumbling or complaining while they searched for the lost ruins.
Irina looked up and to her surprise saw they were in front of the portrait of the Fat Lady. She was steadfast in her time at Hogwarts; even an attack in 1993 couldn't keep her from guarding the Gryffindor tower for good. She gave her the password and she swung forward, revealing the wide tunnel Gryffindors used to climb through. Rina smiled at Lily and gestured to the hole. "After you," she said with a laugh.

Lily rolled her eyes. It was super weird that Irina and Rose's parents had dated. Granted, Lily's mom had dated basically everyone in the school while she was here so... it wasn't that strange. Lily hadn't thought about the fact that she couldn't use magic on the trip. She groaned, "ugh, that'll be incredibly annoying. Having to rely on you for all the magic," she rolled her eyes. "I bet an adult will want to come with us. Heck, we should ask my mom! She's basically not an adult anyway so It'll still be fun," she chuckled, feeling a little guilty for making the joke, but that didn't show on her face. Guilt didn't look good on her. That's not true. Everything looked good on her. She crawled into the portrait before Irina, "what about you? No boys you want to bring along to flirt with?" she chuckled, turning back to Irina once inside. Irina Rose Krum

Irina smiled. She had conversed with Ginny a few times when Harry had invited the Krum family to summer holidays and had always gotten along with her. She had a youthful, vivacious spirit that Lily had obviously inherited from her. It also was amusing to her that Lily was almost a carbon copy of Ginny; Irina always felt she didn’t really look too much like her parents – though the fact that she didn’t have her father’s hook nose was very pleasing to her. “I think if your mum wants to come my parents would be more agreeable,” she said. Ginny was also very into Quidditch, and though her memories were taken from her, she hadn’t seemed to lose that from what the Potter children had told her. It had been enough for her own mother to take an instant liking to Ginny, so it would make her less worried if she came along.
She laughed at the mention of boys. She couldn’t remember the last time she had crushed on someone, which was a little sad. She was sixteen going on seventeen for goodness sake! “No, actually I haven’t had my eye on anyone for awhile now. If you feel like matching me with someone, I…I trust your judgement,” she said, hesitating slightly. She knew Lily wouldn’t match her with a complete lunatic, but she could definitely present the unexpected choices every once in awhile.

Well now Lily was seriously considering asking her mom. "Actually... it might be good for her. Give her a break from all the insanity happening in her life. I'll ask her," she said, her stomach doing a strange little flip at the thought. Yes, she was actually excited about that prospect. Spending the summer with her mother? Reconnecting? She would never admit it, but that seemed like more fun than even bringing Adrian along. Then Irina suggested that Lily could match her with someone and Lily's eyebrow raised about ten feet. "Reeeaaaallly?" she said, moving a little closer to her dear, dear friend. "I could arrange that... I'll have to think about it," she giggled, eyeing those around them now... giving her license to do this was a brave move on Irinas part, because now Lily would be determined. Irina held her breath when Lily got that look on her face; that plotting look. Oh for Merlin’s sake, why had she agreed to this? “Just…do me a favor Lil, and make sure that whatever fine gentleman you pick doesn’t just like me for my name or my supposed Quidditch skills,” she said, making a face. Being the daughter of two Quidditch players did give Rina the natural talent on the field. The lack of interest however brought her mothers’ dreams of her playing Quidditch professionally to a grinding halt.
“I’d much rather go on an adventure with your mum than mine anyway, mine would take one look at my flying skills and start going on about what a waste it was that I didn’t find time in my life to play Quidditch,” she said with a laugh. “Let’s go compose a letter to her now and send it off with Arthur,” she suggested, and the two girls put their heads together, the seeds of a summer adventure having been firmly planted.
